  2. Last few years in comics have been best art wise for medium in it's history. Well indie comics in west kinda have to be passion projects, since most of them make little to no money off their work and are doing it because they love medium.
  3. really the question is the rest of the world vs japan in comics
  4. Changed your tune? price drops sell systems, look at 3ds as easy example.
  5. They actually got pretty good talent for this comic.
  6. "Capcom’s Community Manager, Brett Elston, stated that Capcom is “not ready” to fully reveal the game yet. But just knowing it’s coming is good enough, especially on the heels of the announcement that WayForward and Capcom are bringing back Duck Tales." DuckTales Remastered will come to PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade and the Wii U eShop this summer for $14.99 (1200 Microsoft Points) and will feature hand-drawn character sprites in a 3D world. Disney voice actors are working on the game and original 8-bit songs have been remastered for the new title. Additional elements include a tutorial, a museum and the ability to swim through Scrooge’s money bin. Source: Polygon http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=6N0PzqF9gWY Update: The new mega man isn't confirmed. Capcom has clarified Elston's comments, saying that a new Mega Man game has not been confirmed. The company is having "ongoing discussions about Mega Man," but it "won't announce anything until something is ready."

  21. How is Batman a relatable superhero?

    1. Deadshot

      Deadshot

He does for example Batman: Year One is very grounded/origin story. It's great story that puts Bruce to basics where he wasn't unbeatable and he going against mob but Year One is more James Gordon story. Batman is also quite crazy and genius. I do like Batman's character and he is very interesting superhero he's just not very relatable. Dick Grayson as Batman i found more interesting because writer play up how he was relatable at least to me anyway.

    2. Hei

      Hei

I remember seeing the animated movie year one, I can see how it's more about Jim. If I remember right, Grayson was in the circus right? The Flying Graysons or something. I can see how his life is much more relatable to a billionare haha

    3. Deadshot

      Deadshot

yes that's right, but his attitude more like if normal sane person became Batman how would they act.

  22. Superman is in fact the best superhero, here are my reasons why 1) He was the first Without Superman there is no Batman, Spider-man, Marvel or DC and the manga landscape would be different to. The world without Superman would be a radically different place and the people that bash him need to realize this single fact before they bash him. The pure essence of everything that is Superheroes is molded after Superman. Essentially all superhero characters are formed around his template. No matter how radically different they may turn out, he is THE Superhero. The origin story, the superpowers, the secret identity, the love interest, and the villains. He’s obviously not the first character in history to have all of these things but the classic superhero tale is all Superman’s. 2) He in fact is not overpowered Any writer can make a hero overpowered, Batman in comics as beaten Superman in fight and beat the entire Justice League. How is that no overpowered? This can apply to any hero, writers give heroes their takes on them and their all different. The original Superman couldn't fly. 3) He's a pure hero Superman is a hero that reflects the potential in all of us for greatness; a beacon of light in times that are grim and a glimmer of hope for the hopeless. While he has power of a god, Supeman sees himself not as that but someone who is only here to help and expect nothing in return. He didn't become a hero because crime affected him, he had powers to help and uses them. His Kryptonian S-Shield recognizable as a universal symbol for truth and justice. Though Superman may have begun as a slice of Americana, he’s grown into a symbol that all of humanity can look up to. 4) He's very relatable While he may have powers and could be boyscout. Clark Kent side of him is an outcast and he's feel like alien who doesn't fit in. Read stories like It's Superman or Superman: Secret Identity and it's easy to relate to the character and what he does. More than characters like Batman while he's doesn't have powers he's crazy.
