  2. but isn't that what you're doing right now?
  3. Okay, so you don't see a good reason for him to have said that because you don't think it's followed up on. But tell me, is there really a good reason not to? It doesn't come up much, but in Yen Sid's mind that's a perfectly valid warning and it was worth saying, even if nothing came of it. It's two lines of dialogue that take up about 0.00001% of the story, why is it such a big deal?
  4. It's a precautionary measure to make sure Sora does what he needs to do, and doesn't ally himself with the opponent out of pity for their struggle. And it's not much of a plot point all things considered, not really a big thing that needs to be followed up on. Even then, that Sora doesn't go AWOL and side with the Organization shows that Yen Sid's warning accomplished something. Or maybe Sora would have done what he did without the warning. It's schrodingers Sora.
  5. Because I think at the heart of the situation (heh) Nobodies were meant to be a sympathetic thing. They're people who for a long time we were led to believe did not have hearts, and that everything they did was an effort to get one. We're given the impression all throughout the series how important a heart is, then here are a group of people who are left out of the fun. It's supposed to be something the player pities, and by extension Sora, thus Yen Sid pushing the point forward that Sora needs to focus on what must be done, and not let pity rule over his actions in the coming conflicts. It might be that Sora hasn't shown hesitation before, but that in this case he might be tempted to, and that won't do.
  6. I hate to pull a white girl on this one, but I can't even with that game. The repeated battle quotes completely killed my enjoyment of the game out of the gate. "How about I get you a ladder so you can GET OFF MY BACK?"
  7. I think they were in denial in large part, I think. Or perhaps some of them were savvy to that one plot twist from DDD, you know the one, and genuinely meant it when they said that they do in fact have hearts.
  8. I mean I guess she's gotta do something to relax. Rebuilding a city is stressful work I imagine.
  9. Oh, KH2 Aerith.. you grow more than flowers, don't you?
  10. Well it's not necessarily why they were created, but how the number matches up perfectly with an established group we know for studying and experimenting.
  11. You can probably count on DDD HD.
  12. Additional thing to note: There's a little statue in the middle of the main hall that's of a castle. A castle that could easily be of Radiant Garden.
  13. I can't help but notice that aside from Sora's pod, there are 6 pods in the TT mansion. It's also interesting that Ansem the Wise would pick out TT. I think maybe the mansion might have been a testing facility of some kind for Ansem and his apprentices.
  14. If it was done in a style like that to echo the comic books, maybe use that "Kingdom Shader" they were talking about to accomplish something then yeah. But what's the chances they'll do that when the MCU is what's popular, you know? I just can't imagine a world where Sora talks to a weird cgi RDJ,
  15. And another thing; it would make sense that the heartless they show in a tease would be important in some way. Teasers are meant to rouse curiousity after all, so if these heartless were important to the story in some way it makes sense for them to be the ones shown.
  16. This theory is going solely off of the description of that teaser footage shown at the launch event, primarily the descriptions of the heartless concept arts. "One enemy looked like a souped up Blue Rhapsody Heartless with flames around it. Another enemy looked like the Soldier Heartless type with angel wings. A new enemy, a large Heartless with a bull-horned helmet, looked like a knight. There was also a tiny Archer heartless holding a bow with a quiver on his back. Some of these were sketches, but others like the Knight Heartless were 3D models." These description have created very vivid images in my head of what these heartless could look like, but what has really caught my attention is those first two descriptions. Let's start with the Blue Rhapsody. It's described as a beefy Blue Rhapsody heartless with flames around it. Now, if you know what a Blue Rhapsody is, it's this little guy The magic he casts is and has always been Blizzard. He is the ice guy among the colored little tea pot things. So why is he coated in flames in the reported concept art? It seems strange the ice element heartless would have anything to do with fire. Now addressing the Solider heartless description. It's described as a Soldier heartless with angel wings. This is absolutely bizarre. If they wanted to have a flying heartless that resembles the soldier type, why wouldn't they just bring back the Air Soldier? Angel wings are so out of left field for that. There are a couple heartless with angel like wings, namely Angel Stars Now based off these anomalies, I have this thought in my head that I can't shake. I think that someone in KH3 will be manipulating the heartless, going so far as to make hybrids of different heartless types. Making for perhaps interesting combinations of enemies in KH3. Another thing interesting of note in regards to the above heartless is that all those involved are Emblem heartless, no purebloods. Emblem heartless are already manmade to begin with. So to sum up, based off the descriptions it sounds like someone in KH3 has taken the liberty of creating new breeds of heartless by combining existing emblem heartless. Blue Rhapsody + Red Nocturne = bizarre flame Blue Rhapsody. Soldier + Angel Star = Weird angel winged Soldier. I think it sounds like a really interesting idea, and I'd be really curious to see how that played out if I'm right. Just throwing that out there...
  17. It's my tradition to start on proud as of late, so I'll kick off with that to get into the groove of things, then one day when I feel up to a challenge I'll do Crit. I do want to do it, I just don't want my first run of the game in years to be painfully difficult.
  18. Star Wars is fantastical enough that it can be done well I think. Plus, two words, Keyblade lightsaber. Marvel on the other hand I just cannot even remotely see working.
  19. That's nice to know. Looking forward to taking them on... gonna have a load of grinding to do.
  20. I hate how empty the box looks once you take out the heartless plush. Just a lot of vacant space. It makes you feel like you didn't get your value for what you paid when really you did. I like the design of the package and I have it displayed now but it is kind of meh. I might put all the KH games inside it though, and put it on the shelf with the crown facing out, and use it like a box for all the games
  21. it bothers me that the artbook doesnt match the size of 1.5's LE artbook. It has more content but in a vertically smaller book and it pisses me off that they didn't even try for consistency. Everything else matches, having a sora on the front then a sketch on the back with storyboards, but the size just doesn't match and it pisses me right the firetruck off.
