What character of the opposite gender is your favorite?
... My gawd, like a good 75% of all my favorite characters are of the opposite gender. X_X Like, I physically just cannot choose one... Here's the three I thought of first: Natalia from Tales of the Abyss Chie from Persona 4 Koyuki from Sgt. Frog/Keroro Gunso

Have you ever placed in the Top 20 posters of KH13.com?
I'd be seriously surprised if I had. Considering I've been here for years and have less than 3000 posts.

Have you met someone else on KH13 in real life?
No, I haven't. I did almost get the chance to meet Weedanort when I went to Portugal, but Lisbon was too far away from Porto for either of us to take a trip.

Nintendo President Satoru Iwata dead at 55
I knew he was sick, but I had no idea it was even close to being this bad. It's just so sudden. I can still hardly believe it. I may not have known the man personally, but he was responsible for much of the joy I've had in my life. Some of my best memories come from playing Nintendo games. Nintendo was also one of the few things that helped me get through the phase of my life where I had crippling social anxiety and no friends; I'm not sure who I'd be today if I didn't have my DS and Pokemon games during middle school. All of this was, in some way, guided by Iwata. He's helped bring joy to so many others as well. He had charm and personality. Perhaps his business decisions weren't always the best, but I believe the good he's done far outweighs the bad. Though I know he can't see it, thank-you Iwata. May you rest in peace.

OH. MY. FREAKING. GOD. I can hardly believe that Iwata has passed away. I knew he was sick, but not that bad. This just came out of nowhere.

Anyone ever been camping?
I've been camping many times, and while we did go hiking, it was just on hiking trails around state parks and stuff. We also didn't have a tent, instead we have a camper that we pulled around with a pickup truck. It wasn't as nice as, say, an RV, but it did have air conditioning, beds (not comfortable beds, but beds), a toilet, plus kitchen appliances (sink/fridge/mircrowave/stove.) So yeah, we weren't exactly roughing it. I do really enjoy camping, though. I like campfires and hiking, and it actually forces my family to do something with out technology (most in my little brother's case, he's on the computer or playing a game almost every moment he's awake, not counting school).

Which of these mythical creatures do you like more?
Dragons are definitely my favorite! (My user name probably gives that away. ) I actually collect dragons. Like, little dragon statue things like this (This picture is actually very similar to one I own as well!) I've probably got like a dozen or so of these guys hanging around my room. Before we moved, my bedroom had a mural of a dragon that my grandma painted.

Well, at least for us moderators it lets us know if someone reads a PM that we sent them when we're giving them a warning or something. Or if they're ignoring us.

Ben Diskin discusses latest Kingdom Hearts III trailer and recording process in reddit AMA
I'm not a voice actor, but I would've been kinda annoyed with that direction. I would think the character's motivation would be pretty essential to doing a good voice for them. That said, Diskin was fantastic in DDD, and I really didn't notice a difference in the trailer. He's probably one of my favorite voices in the entire series, really.

"Tales of" Series Discussion Thread
Abyss was hands down my favorite story in the series. I found it to be quite fascinating, and I really liked the idea of fonons and how well the concept was developed. Also had my favorite cast (both protagonists and antagonists), though other games have come very close in regards to protagonists. Xillia 2 was definitely my second favorite. The multiple dimensions idea was pretty interesting, and the character side stories were hilarious (Muzet's, on more than one occasion, made me utter aloud "that's just... strange" and I loved every minute of it). It doesn't beat Abyss, though, because overall Abyss had the more intriguing ideas (in my opinion), and I thought Xillia 2's ending just kinda felt flat. It wasn't a bad ending (though I was a bit dissatisfied), but it just didn't feel all that climatic. Maybe it was just me, though. As for the rest of the games I've played (Graces f, Symphonia 1 & 2, Vesperia, Xillia), I wasn't crazy about the story lines. They were all entertaining and enjoyable, but they just didn't stick out as particularly good. Especially Symphonia and Xillia, as their plots in general were kind of boring (I liked the characters, though, which is why I finished both).

Lea, no, I was so excited thinking I'd be the one to ruin it. X_X but still ZER0

Your Avatar?
Currently mine's Ludger from Tales of Xillia 2. Specifically, its the expression he'd make in the skits when he was unamused. I liked the expression so I made it my avatar.

Just ordered a Lucina amiibo import. It was $19.99, so more than I would've wanted to spend, but ...
Thanks, I feel better about the price now! Can't wait for it to come in, but if I remember right it will take at least two weeks. X_X (understandable since its an import and I didn't pay for super fast shipping)

When you hear the word APPROPRIATE...
I think of both attire and behavior. Attire as in, are you dressed professionally if the situation calls for it? Or, are you dressed properly to go out in public? Or... are you dressed at all? Even if you don't have to dress professionally, if you're in public don't just let it all hang out either (and in case someone's about to get mad at me, I mean this for guys and girls, I DON'T WANT TO SEE TOO MUCH OF EITHER OF YOU). If you're at home then wear whatever you want, though. Behavior as in, don't heavily use vulgar language, respect other people, and don't commit crimes.

Finally, after almost eight months, I renewed my subscription to Game Informer Magazine! Oh God,...
I've been subscribed for, like, four or five years now. Got it with a GameStop membership, but honestly I only renew the GameStop card anymore so that I can keep getting the magazines. Don't always agree with some of their opinions, but there's always something for me to read inside.

To tell the truth, I don't think Tales of Xillia's battle system is better than Tales of the Abys...
I actually agree with you. Abyss did overlimit the best (I seriously dislike the shared overlimit meter in most games, and hate Symphonia's overlimit system). And the FoF circles were pretty cool. I just overall wasn't a fan of linking, to be honest.

Which game series is more popular?
I'm a fan of the Tales series (pretty obvious from my avatar), and I'm positive that KH is more popular. Tales of may be very popular in Japan, but not so much every where else. KH, on the contrary, is popular in Japan and even more popular in the west. I don't know how Tales matches up to KH in just Japan, but if we're going overall, then KH wins no doubt.

@catmaster yes. (Seriously, though, yes. I'd say KH13 is definitely one of the better online communities I've seen. Yes, there are many moments where I just have to shake my head, but at least the members here all show at least some signs of actual human decency, and threads aren't consistently derailed and transformed into unintelligible arguing.)

@Firaga In a manner of speaking, yes. But GameFAQs is just a special kind of cesspool. The site is filled with pure idiocy and hatred, ultimately leading almost every thread to devolve into pathetic squabbling that makes me ashamed to share a hobby with any of those idiots. Trolls there are never actually funny, they simply make it impossible to discuss anything by filling threads with brain dead hatred and pure toxicity. @catmaster yes. (Seriously, though, yes.
