I finally managed to get a Robin amiibo, which was the last of the three I wanted (Lucina, Palutena, and Robin). Also decided to purchase the character DLC pack. Don't really like playing as Ryu or Mewtwo, but it's fun playing against them. Hate Lucas just as much as Ness, but my brother likes him so not a waste. But I really like Roy, so much that I've made him my co-main with Robin. Recently tried 8-player team Smash with my brother, with our teammates being our amiibo. I thought it was a lot of fun, but my brother ended up getting so mad that he turned off the WiiU before we could save the amiibo data. So many amiibo rewards lost... My brother in general just gets way too mad at this game. I hardly ever beat him in normal play, but pretty much any time I get a good hit on him he complains that it's not fair. He even makes fun of me for losing so much (I don't particularly mind, I realize I'm bad ). Yet in the team battle, I was actually managing to get more of the victories, and he was just non-stop shouting. It concerns me how poor of a loser he is, especially since he wins most of the time. Takes games way too seriously, sometimes I wonder if he even has fun or if he just likes winning.

Thank-you. ^_^ We buried him last night. My dad even made a little head-stone for him. It's the first time we've ever had to bury a pet. The rest of our pets that have died had to be put to sleep at the vet... Though, I guess we should be thankful he didn't get super sick like the others did.

Yeah, I admit that I don't really like how often people change their usernames here. I get so confused, I see usernames I've never seen but which have hundreds or thousands of posts, and I can't remember what they're usernames were before. People will just disappear and I can't tell if it's because they've gone inactive or because they changed their username and I didn't realize it. X_X Out of all the users that have been asked about, I only know what happened to Sora's Little Helper, who is Weedanort now. X_X

And after many hours toiled away and many boring books read, the research paper was complete. X_X

Gosh dangit, I really wanted to see a Birth by Sleep manga. I absolutely loved the 358/2 Days manga, even better than the game (and since Days had my favorite storyline in the series, I think that's saying something). This is just really disappointing.

Thanks so much guys. The fact that so many of you took the time to give me some kind words means a lot. One of the reasons why I love this community so much. We're going to bury him either today or tomorrow. We'll choose a nice place for him, somewhere with lots of grass, near the bushes or something. Somewhere he would've loved to just hop around.

Thank you. Even if we might not have provided that well for him in the past, I think the last few years we've been making up for it. He had a fairly large porch where he could hop around and hide or lay in the sun, and we gave him lots of vegetables and fruit. I hope he could tell we cared for him as you said.

So... we found our pet bunny dead today... He was pretty old for a rabbit, at least 12 years old. He had been looking a bit ragged for awhile, getting a bit thinner, and hopping around more stiffly but... I dunno. It's weird. I'm sad but I haven't cried, and I feel terrible about it. I think all of us in my family knew his time was coming soon, but I always thought he would start to get very noticeably sick and we'd have to take him to the vet (that's how all the other pets we've lost, besides our fish, have gone out)... But no, my mom and her friend just found him lying on the floor... I feel guilty that I didn't get to pet him one last time, or give him some veggies so he could've had a good last meal. Heck, we've had him out on our screened in porch for a few days so he could hop around more freely, he could've been laying there dead for over a day and no one came to check on him... Honestly, there were a couple periods in his life where we probably weren't taking care of him as well as we should, and now I really wish I could go back in time to fix those mistakes. He didn't have a bad life by any means but... I just... I don't really know...

Honestly, seems about like the westerner reactions I've seen. Pretty much mixed between yay, meh, and boo.

Yeah, if it's anything like on the PS3 the PSN's download speeds are just garbage. I mean, my internet is terrible, but not nearly as bad as the PSN makes it feel.

Hmm, a coffee shop might be nice. I know one in the town I went to high school in that's pretty nice (and only a short drive). Only thing is I that I might not get any work done if I run into someone I know. I normally try to do things all at once too. I admit I've had opportunities where I could've this essay like that, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I have most of my research and have picked out most of the quotes and info I'll need, I've got an outline, and I've got a partial draft, but actually sitting down to write it is just dreadful. Admittedly I've also been a little lazy. *sigh* no choice but to get to it.

Yeah, Japan has some pretty mind blowing titles for their games. And that is not mind blowing in a good way...

So, how do you guys motivate yourselves to get through writing a paper? My writing class final is a 12 page research paper* and I just have no motivation to do it at all. Doing research isn't something I really enjoy anyway, but the subject of the class (and therefore the paper) is just not something that I've had any real interest in. I know my topic and have the essay planned (have a rough draft done, but it's only a third of the final product), and I have most if not all of the sources I'll need, but I just can't bring myself to actually get it done. Really need to find some motivation tactics early in the game, or I'm going to get eaten alive. *I'm sure 12 pages isn't too bad when compared with what students have to write later on in college, but I'm pretty much fresh outta high school where I only ever had to write one research paper (which also happened to be the only paper I ever had to write that was over 10 pages). Starting to be really glad that my AP score got me out of taking a second freshman writing course next semester o_o

I've been hesitating to comment on this, because I really didn't know what to say. Saying "this is terrible" and "my heart goes out to those who have died and lost loved ones" feels hollow. I can't even fathom how terrifying this must have been, and how many families have been affected. One hundred and twenty dead, and for what? For some petty political-relgious war waged by hateful people who are a stain on the relgion and culture they claim to fight for. Nevertheless, I truly empathize with those who have been affected, and it truly does bring me great sadness that this has happened. I often consider what it would take to finally rid the world of the majority of these extremists, but I'm becoming more and more certain that there is no good way. Democracy and negotiation will never solve this. If these extremist groups get what they want, they'll just turn on their own people, kill innocents of their own culture and religion for not conforming to their twisted, draconian views. Yet any action against them will only further fuel their desire to create more terror. Any invasion of the countries they are based in will result in the death of the innocent locals, and of many foreign soldiers. Plus, I do not doubt that escalation to all out war would bring forth many internal sympathizers to wreak havoc. Not to mention that the geography of the middle east is quite unforgiving to those who aren't accostumed to it, and would thus put any invading force at a disadvantage. Then of course, even if ISIS and their ilk were completely anhialated, it would likely just be a matter of time before a new organization took their place. I wish I could put this in a more eloquent and sensitive way, but the situation just sucks all around. There's no way to make it stop without innocent people getting caught in the cross fire.

Not a big Final Fantasy fan but I still think it's really cool that we're getting him in Smash. I definitely want to try him out. Also, the stage that comes with him (well, I assume it will come with him) looks awesome. That's definitely a welcomed addtion. ^_^

Aqua's the one that I used to take out the secret bosses, so she has the most play time. I liked her magic based moveset, and generally had the best time playing as her. Gotta admit, though, it was pretty tedious to grind her level high enough to take on the secret bosses.

Amazon and Best Buy sold out within hours yesterday (I was writing a paper during the time frame, which is why I missed it). Then today GameStop's online store ran out just as I was going to buy it. I got all the way to entering my card info, but backed out because I wasn't logged in. Tried to reset my password (apparently I forgot it), waited 10 minutes for the email, it never came. Went back to just buy it as a guest and I get the message that it's been removed from my cart due...

Well, I sure hope the special edition of FE:fates comes back in stock. Sold out before I had a chance to preorder.

I think this is really cool (not particularly excited since I've never played FF7 before), but I do have one comment... Are they gonna bring some form of FF7 to a Nintendo console? I mean, otherwise the only time Cloud has been on a Nintendo console is through Theatrythm (as far as I know).

No, I didn't care for most of it either. The only thing that really got me was Fire Emblem. Was majorly disappointed they ignored Bravely Second and FExSMT. I admit, I thought RBY with wifi trading and Cloud for Smash were cool, though.
