My brother is an amazing artist. He's done several photo-realistic pictures. He does lots of photoshop things ,as well. I know several artists online. I asked them what got them where they are now, the answer: practice. When I was younger I was always trying to find something that would help. I thought maybe there might be another way to improve. I got to a point where I gave up. Everywhere I looked everyone would say the same thing. Practice. It may be annoying, and you may get a little... -
Observation and practice. The truth hurts, but there's really no other way. Find inspiration. If you draw digital art, you can find tutorials on deviantart. Figure out different techniques. And put them to use. Draw everyday. Practice makes perfect.

I agree! Kids these days are just getting SO lazy! I know I'm a kid myself, but I'm quite different than most people my age. Or at least from what I've noticed. Ungrateful little punk!! I have several chores of my own. My sister washes and rinses the dishes, and I dry them and put them away. We don't even have a dishwasher, so that adds extra effort! I make my own breakfast, lunch, and most of the time, dinner. I even do my own laundry. I clean the bathroom, and often voluntarily clean the kitchen counters(though that's generally my sisters job.). Any time my bedroom is in need of cleaning, I clean it. I'm often asked to help my mom out with things in the garden in our backyard and I do it with no complaint!(Okay, so I admit I've grumbled about that before but that's only 'cause she woke me up really early and I was really tired.)At the beginning of spring, we do more cleaning than the rest of the year! We thoroughly clean the car and the ENTIRE house. Every nook and cranny. And on top of that, I still have all of my schoolwork to do. I'm homeschooled and I don't even get any spring/summer breaks! I don't like big breaks from school like that! It's hard to get back on track. I study photography, art, music, Japanese, Chinese, and Irish Gaelic on top of all of the necessary subects! I'm also learning to sew so that I can make my own clothing. Oh yes, and I forgot to mention... I pay my own share of water, food, and rent! And despite all that, I always think of myself as a VERY lazy person! I'm not the only person who does this much work, either. That girl has no right to complain!!

Ah, man. I wish I knew who I was related to!! I think I might be part German in one way or another. Because my grandmother and my great grandmother spoke German a lot. It's SO cool to figure that type of stuff out!! Also, my great great grandfather gave my great great grandmother a necklace for their anniversary or something. My great great grandmother then said that she wanted all of her decedents to where that necklace at their wedding. My mom said that tradition kind of stopped with my older sister 'cause my older sister didn't want to and said it was "old fashioned". C'mon, people, really?? That's so disrespectful! I'm not letting it stop there! I'm going to wear it to MY wedding. It's just so cool. I don't even care if it's rusty!

Haha There are good artists here but I don't pay too close attention to the images category to know how good they all are. It's worth a try, though, right?? ^-^ Haha I guess it depends on what style you're using. I fail at hair all the time myself. Well if you decide to participate, do your best!! And try not to rush it too much.
