  1. ~Johnny and Elia, the White Mage, Lufenia~ Johnny looked over to Hektor, Elia and Mog, "You guys think you can make it back to Sanctuary all right?" Elia nodded, "I believe we will bejust fine.". Elia then reached out to Johnny, lightly stroking his face with her hand, "Take care. Please." Johnny smiled at the White Mage, "Don't worry. I will." Johnny then nodded at the three warriors who had stepped up to join him, "Right. Let's get moving." With that, he headed north, to the Sandsea. ~Corrin, Lightning and Sora, Sanctuary~ Corrin followed both Serena and the stranger's attacks, striking the now-cracked barrier with the full force of his dragon-form. Lightning, also seeing this, ran at the barrier and struck it. Sora heard the crack and looked to the barrier. Smiling, Sora turned to Ganon and taunted, "C'mon, old man! Try to hit me!" ~Xemnas, Giant's Cave~ Caius' spell would have allowed Xemnas the opportunity to dodge the thief's attack. However, Schala had decided to attack him beforehand. Xemnas reeled from the two attacks, before leaping forward, Etheral blades in both hands, ready to swing. "Try that again, princess." ~Garland, Kefka's Tower~ Upon taking down the maiden Elsa, Garland felt the floor beneath him give way and he was airborn once more. Garland flew into the tower again and again, feeling each and every blow. Finally able to regain his footing, Garland looked down to find the interloper who dared assault him. His gaze focused on the daughter, and he scowled. "It is time to finish this." Garland leapt off the tower, turning his sword back into its axe form and began to drop towards the ground. The ground was going to shake.
  2. I think a few of us are to blame. I myself am feeling a little out of creative juice (mostly due to focusing on writing Johnny's actual story!), work is always keeping me from writing, and my computer doesn't like this site. I say we give the RP a week. See if things pick back up. If not, I have a few ideas for a possible reboot (mostly my idea is going back to the battle of Melmond and changing some things around to where we get a massively different story) or to just start fresh after a month or so. Ideas are welcome. I'm working on a new post right now.
  3. The fact that you can only fight Sans if you kill everything in Undertale comes to mind. Only other reason I can think of is that Sans considers Sora a threat to the multiverse. I think Sora has enough determination in him to overcome Sans. Sora definitely beats Frisk in terms of attacks and capability, so Sans better get ready to have a bad time.
  4. Willow caught up with her group right as Anton and Sara dispatched the Mus. The farmgirl began to get flustered. "You could at least try to wait, Sara," Willow said, catching a quick breath. "We're supposed to be a team!" Johnny looked over the arena, watching the students as they made their way through their respective labyrinths. "So, Ms. Genka, am I to be judging them too? Is my grading going to be considered, or is an assistant's opinion not worthy?" Johnny asked before his attention diverted over to Solisa's team. Elsa, the summoner girl, had just taken out one of the Nightlights and was seemingly celebrating the kill. "Keep the celebration to yourself, young one. You're on the battlefield now," Johnny scoffed to himself. As much as he hated to admit it, he saw a lot of who he used to be in these kids, most of all when they were proud of their own abilities. Had Johnny only known what his own pride ended up doing... Maybe he wouldn't be here now.
  5. I'm sure somehow Johnny will get some sort of character development and some actual background. Sorry I haven't been keeping up real well. I've been busy with work, a puppy and writing the book Johnny comes from, so...
  6. Willow casually ran after Sara and her other teammates, "Wait! What about teamwork? That's more important than a race!" Willow glanced around as she went forward, trying to judge the dungeon that now surrounded her. "I sure hope I don't hit any traps..." Tay flew back to Johnny, "I didn't see anything out of place." "You sure?" "Anything I could get into, yeah." "Alright, that's all I can ask," Johnny said, and the tiny fairy flew back into the pouch. Johnny then stood by Ms. Genka and began to talk, "It's a bit funny. Those two automatically just ran in, not a care in the world. Speed really isn't everything, I'm surprised they still haven't caught that."
  7. ~Tron~ Tron did his best to deflect Sho's blows, as he waiting for an opening. The chance came, and Tron ducked under one of Sho's punches and punched forward, Identity disc in hand. "What a shame, Sho," Tron taunted in reply to Sho. "Here I thought you were more than just a waste of good code." ~Will~ Will watched as the boy left his car and walked into his apartment. With haste, he left the area and tried to hurry home. Tron had been too long without him, who knew how much could have happened while he was gone?
  8. ~Johnny, Lufenia~ "There's just..." Johnny's attention stayed fixed on the presence he felt to the north. "Something out there...it's calling to me..." Johnny turned to his comrades, "Follow me if you want, but I have to find out what it is." ~Garland, Kefka's Tower~ The blow from Elsa landed squarely on Garland's head. It did not move him in the slightest. "I would think you would have learned how to fight me by now," Garland said, before swinging his mighty right hand at Elsa to swat her away towards a nearby rock. "As much as I enjoy this fight, I believe it is time to bring it to a close." ~Corrin, Sanctuary~ Corrin nodded and once again turned into his dragon form. Corrin turned towards the spot where the newcomer had pointed out, and readied himself to charge. ~Xemnas, Giant's Cave~ Xemnas got hit in the chest by the thief and was pushed back a bit. The thief did not press his attack, which Xemnas took as an opportunity to move towards Schala. Covering himself with a dark aura, Xemnas moved behind Schala, cutting off any escape she had going backwards. "I would suggest surrender," Xemnas coldly stated to Schala, who was concentrating her attack on Caius. One of his Etheral blades appeared in his hand, ready to combat the mage.
  9. ~Tron Soldiers~ The soldiers were not convinced, continuing to hold their weapons at the two intruders. "Tron does not commission soldiers from other game realms. He programs them here himself." The leading program advanced towards the female, "Once again, state your name and business or you will be immediately derezzed." ~Tron~ Tron rolled across the stones after Sho hit him in the back. Tron stumbled to his feet. "That's a lot coming from a man calling me a yoctogram. Why don't you update your list of insults?" Tron charged back at the man, deciding to go up close and personal. Tron slashed at Sho with his two discs, moving rather fast, hoping he could put his opponent on edge. ~Will~ "Thank you for giving me a ride, mister. I owe you one." Will smiled as the kid finished, deciding to press his advantage. "Here's how you owe me: whatever you were out there at my house for tonight, you stop it. Now." Will's tone shifted from the nice easy-going to the harsh voice he used with some of his more disruptive students. "What you were doing was reckless. I'm going to warn you this one time. If I catch you lurking around my house again, I will call the cops on you. Understood?" Will looked back up to the road and saw that they had finally arrived at the apartment complex, "Here we are. Which one do you live in?"
  10. Willow disembarked off the ship after landing, awaiting further instructions, but Johnny lingered on the airship.Something was definitely up. For being a "legendary pilot", Cid had messed up a bit on the way there, not to mention whatever had happened to Laz.Johnny wasn't convinced everything was as hunky-dory as everyone else thought. He was going to get to the bottom of this.Johnny tapped on his pouch when no one was looking, and a fairy flew out."What's up, John?" the tiny fairy said."I want you to investigate the ship, see what's going on," Johnny said. "You felt those shakes and bumps as much as I did. I want to know if it's something with the ship or something else entirely."The tiny fairy saluted him, "Aye, aye, sir!" With that, the fairy darted off into the ship.
  11. ~Corrin, Sanctuary~Corrin turned to the newcomer, "Don't call me kid. What do you have in mind?"Whoever this person was, he seemed to be a tactician of sorts. A handy thing indeed during war."Do you require my dragon form or my sword?" Corrin asked. Knowing the plan was always the first step of executing it.
  12. Willow and Johnny had only just made it to the dining hall when they felt the ship shake. Johnny tumbled, but Willow needed only a second to reaffirm her balance. Perks of dragoon training, she thought to herself.Johnny stumbled to his feet, "Captain Cid, what's going on? Somehow I don't think the ship is meant to do that."
  13. Johnny and Willow had boarded and found themselves at the bow of the ship, Johnny helping Willow to review her combat."Remember, spears are not swords. You don't swing spears," Johnny said, watching Willow's technique as she shadow-fought the air.Willow took a breath before replying, "Gotcha." Another set of jabs later, Willow stopped to take a break, "Progress?""You're getting better from when I first met you," Johnny replied. "Hopefully you guys aren't graded as a whole team. Sara might bring you guys down, and I'd hate to have that ruin your dreams of becoming a Dragoon."Willow nodded, sitting down and leaning against a mast, "Yeah, her and Solisa have got some serious bad blood going on. What's up with that?"Johnny sat down beside her, "I don't know, to be honest. My best friend and I were rivals growing up, but that only forged our bond when we had to fight for our lives. Those two, I'm not sure they can make up or come together as a team if they tried."
  14. (Sorry for the delay, guys, let's keep this moving on!)~Johnny and Elia, the White Mage, Lufenia~"Pretty much," Johnny said to Link. "I can only really do it if someone has let their mental guard down, if they aren't paying attention or if they're actively thinking about it."Elia walked up to the now covered grave of Ruddy and placed a sword she had found inside the castle down as a gravestone. Elia held her staff in hand as she looked around, "Any last words for our fellow warrior?"Johnny stepped forward, "I've got a few." Johnny knelt down and held some of the fresh dirt in his hands, "I stayed behind to get answers, to save people. We may have won Lufenia, but we still lost a man in the fighting. But no more." Johnny stood up, "No more people die because of me."Tay flew out of Johnny's pouch and hovered in front of his face, "What do you suppose we do?" "We should report back to Cosmos," Johnny said, before he felt a strange presence call out from the north. Johnny turned to face it, "Although...there's something I want to check out..."~Garland, Kefka's Tower~Garland first felt the kick to the back of his head, sending him down. Then the shield, knocking him to the right, and another kick sending him backwards.Garland scowled, "Impressive, but yet...you are still not close to beating me."Garland rushed forward, his fists swinging for the warrior and Elsa, before he jumped up and dropped, causing the earth to shift again.~Sora and Corrin, Sanctuary~Sora saw Ganon charge and narrowly dodged out of the way. Getting clear of the attack, Sora swung at Ganon's side, hoping to do some damage to the beast.Corrin looked over to Serena, "None of this is your fault. No one knew he was coming or that he was even here before this." Corrin held out his hand to the girl, "No one's down, no one's been hurt. Let's keep fighting."~Xemnas, outside Giant's Cave~The slash from the thief cut up Xemnas' robe a bit, but did no real damage to the Nobody.Xemnas's attention turned to the boy behind him. Without moving, Xemnas called to the boy, "This matter is none of your concern. Walk away before we have to make this even worse." Xemnas then looked to Caius, who was struggling with the savage child, "Come, Caius. Let us finish this quickly."Xemnas then raised his right hand, still clutching his ethereal blade, and swung it down at the thief before him, trying to knock him away.~Chaos, appearing inside the Old Chaos Shrine~Chaos smiled, but it did not easily come across through the smoke and fire."Do as you wish, warrior. I need to guard here. Your fellow warriors are already in battle with the others. There are a few you have not tested yet, but you may proceed."
  15. Johnny had seen a few different airships before, but this one might have taken the cake. However, Johnny knew to never bring this up if he got home. Emblem the Amazing might take issue with saying such blasphemy against the airship that saved his life more than once.Willow was in awe of the massive ship. She had seen them up in the sky before, but this...Wow.Willow began to jump up and down, leaning over to her companions, "Wow! Would you guys look at the size of that airship? Look at the fins! The propellers!"
  16. (I guess since they're Space Paranoids soldiers, I'll take them out for a spin)The three soldiers, programs created by Tron to act as a security task force in Space Paranoids, approached the two intruders."State your name and business," one of the soldiers said, his voice cold and robotic.~Will~Hallow Apartments on Beach Street. Not too far of a drive, but enough to get some answers from this kid."Yeah, I teach English," Will responded, not taking his eyes off the road. "I also teach Drama, which is why we're reading 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead'. It's one of my favorite plays and we're probably putting it on as our next school production."Will took a right turn and decided to turn the focus back on the kid, "I would ask that you stop pursuing this. I've seen too many people, too many kids do reckless stuff like what you were doing. There's a reason they banned video games, you know."~Tron~Tron's disc quickly returned to him after it hit Sho, but Sho had changed. He had somehow taken an enhanced form.Tron retreated behind a nearby wall, activated his keyboard and said to his AI assistant, "Mara, scan and analyze."Sho Minamimoto has taken on his Taboo form, increasing his defense and allowing him the ability to teleport."Any weaknesses?"Taboo Noise take reduced damage unless the one attacking them holds the Light Puck. Cross Combos and Fusion Attacks also do normal damage. "Ok, but I'm not from his game. What can I use?" In his Taboo form, Sho is still vulnerable to knockback. I would advise using staggered attacks or getting in close range to use your melee attacks. Perhaps your Identity Discs would be useful for damaging his code?"Thank you, Mara. I'll keep in touch," Tron said, readying his discs for another throw.Tron leapt from cover, throwing one disc after the other at Sho, creating a staggered attack.
  17. Johnny cracked a smile as he watched Genka interact with the students. As young as she looked, Genka had a way with the students that Johnny could never hope for. Johnny was way too close in age to these kids to actually try to keep authority. That was pretty much the reason Johnny confided his greatest secret in her; that he was not of this world (OOC: Johnny has been very good at using people's memories and knowledge of the world to fake his belonging there).Willow leaped out of her chair the instant her name was called. Her energy could not be contained. She was so close to being able to attain her dream.Willow, smile beaming, whispered to Sara, who was standing near her, "This is so exciting! I can hardly contain myself!"
  18. It's not necessary, like any other sequel. But it can be good. That's what I'm hoping for.
  19. ~Will~Will kissed his wife on the cheek before heading out the front door, "Watch the kids downstairs. Make sure they study. I don't get them gathered for no reason."Will unlocked the car and got in, motioning to the boy to get in.~Tron~Tron's disc toss didn't hit Sho, so the discs just recalled back to Tron.At that time, a voice came over Tron's com. Maya, the AI he and Will installed to watch over Space Paranoids.Tron, we have confirmed EVO troops in Space Paranoids."Damn," Tron cursed to himself. "Have they located the arcade?"Not yet. They seem to be heading for the I/O Tower."Lock down the arcade until I get back, Maya. Do not let them find the Archive."Understood, Tron. Tron turned his attention back to the fight around him, tossing one disc at Sho and the other at Sephiroth.
  20. Johnny gave a small rap with his hand on the desk before him, "Settle down, everyone. I know the teacher is out today and that I have to officiate this, but this is not the time nor the place."Johnny looked back down at his list, "Willow is here. Anton?"
  21. Hope I remembered Johnny's role that we discussed right. If not, I can fix it.
  22. "That's enough, class," a voice came from the doorway. In walked the man wearing the ebony mail, their teacher for the past month.Johnny Mercer, an enigma in his own right."Ladies and gents, let's take our seats. You'll have plenty of time to beat each other up after the exam is over," Johnny said as he moved from the doorway to the desk sitting inside Room 408."Pardon me!" another voice sounded outside. Inside dashed the girl who was training to become part of the city guard. Willow was her name."You're just fine, Willow," Johnny said, sitting down.Willow slipped into her seat, the same way she always had. As hard as Willow tried, she was always a step behind the rest of the class. But Willow stayed determined. Her teacher, Johnny, had not given up on her in the month they had together, and that was enough for the simple village girl.Johnny called out to the class, those inside and outside the room, "Alright, everyone, take your seats. We'll run through role call and get right to the exam, shall we?"Johnny pondered how he had arrived to this world as the students began to take their seats. The weeks before he had arrived in this world had been a blur in his memory. He could see shadows and vague events, but he could not clearly remember anything. When he had arrived, he had landed in a back alley, which had certainly helped Johnny avoid any suspicious glances or thoughts.Once in this world, Johnny had picked up the history of Orbis and had somehow convinced the Aquila Combat School to bring him in as a temporary teacher.Once he had started teaching, two students stood out to Johnny. Elsa and Kelon.Somehow the two felt familiar to him, something about the blur in his memory. He had watched them closely for a while during the month he taught them, and two things were quite clear. He did not trust Elsa.He did trust Kelon.Johnny had tried his best to keep these two opinions from his students, but he wouldn't have to worry about that after the exam.Johnny also knew he had to find a way to leave this world and go back to his own. He had been gone for far too long.
  23. They're never going to make a Soul Calibur movie. They haven't done anything with the series since V, doubtful there's enough interest for a movie.
