  1. I do all of the above, but all-day video games seems to be the dominating one for me ATM.
  2. No, I'm too much of a wimp for horror games. Maybe someday though...
  3. (@Xeveemon: Ah, okay. @Yuffie: Just curious, what's Elie up to? I don't think you've posted about her for a while.) Alexis gave Felix a pleasant smile as they shook hands, though on the inside she found this guy incredibly annoying. “Paige,” she replied, looking from him to Rebekah to Alex. “Sorry, I need to get Joy inside the hospital. He’s hurt badly, as you can see.” As she turned away, Felix’s comment to Rebekah made her want to gag. As if kissing the girl was all he wanted to do. Why would two people allow themselves to be emotionally bound to each other in such a way, anyway? Then again, this could provide some more fun for her later on down the road. Watching people helplessly beg for the lives of their loved ones made her feel powerful, euphoric. At this point, it was hopefully just a matter of time... As she and Mariah reached the hospital entrance, they saw a bunch of ambulances and police cars surrounding it...and a car that had crashed straight into front doors. “What the...?” Alexis frowned. Mariah waved down a medic. “Please, get him some help!” she urged, gesturing to Joy. “He’s lost a lot of blood, and he’s been out for a long time now.” When the medic nodded and came over, Alexis handed Joy off to him. ------------------------------------------------------------ Rebekah blushed. She still wasn’t accustomed to anyone publicly expressing affection for her, and she realized that with a boyfriend like Felix she would have to get used to it sooner rather than later. But that was one of the reasons she loved him--he was far more expressive than she was, a trait that was once annoying to her, which she now found admirable. As they walked, Rebekah started to massage Felix’s hand, hoping it would help get even more feeling back in his hand. “Yeah...” she responded after Felix pointed to the hospital. She was confused when she started to see emergency vehicles surrounding it. “A car accident??” she exclaimed. “Well, if you’re going to get into a wreck anywhere, I guess the hospital is the ideal place,” she muttered, then looked at Felix again. “I just hope we can get you some help soon. It looks like they might be a bit busy over there.” She looked him up and down one more time and smiled. “Actually, I bet you could pass as one of the crash victims.” Okay, maybe his sense of humor was rubbing off on her a little.
  4. Well, if the game is good, of course I like an ending that indicates there will be a continuation!
  5. (@Xeveemon, where is that post? I can't find it... @Yuffie, thanks for that! And don't worry, I'm sure you won't get left too far behind this time, because as of late, the majority of us seem to be having trouble coming online a whole lot anyway.) As soon as the limo came to a stop, Alexis decided to play “selfless and warm and fuzzy” like the rest of the crew when she saw the tiny blue-haired girl attempting to help her one-legged boyfriend out of the vehicle. Mariah and Joy were their names--Keilani had told her everyone’s names on the way to the hospital, including a few little back stories. Apparently Mariah was the one who had crushed James’s heart. What James--or any man, for that matter--saw in her, Alexis couldn’t tell. “Mariah, let me take him,” Alexis offered in a quiet, empathetic voice. “You look like you could use some rest.” Mariah looked at Alexis in surprise, as this was the first time she really saw her. The woman was close to a foot taller than her, and was looking less tired than herself, so Mariah accepted. “Um, thanks,” she said with an uncertain smile. Alexis nodded and slung the unconscious boy over her back. “I’m Paige, by the way. Is this your boyfriend? I can tell he means a lot to you.” “He does,” Mariah replied quietly. “I just hope he’ll be alright.” ------------------------------------------------------------ Keilani nodded and waved at Tyler as he went off. She hoped Tudi would be okay. She also wanted to help carry people in, but seeing the wounds and the burns and all were making her feel sick to her stomach. If she even tried to help any of them, she would end up having to be carried in as well. The last thing she wanted to be at this moment was a burden. She had already caused enough trouble before. As she got out of the SUV, she saw Troy, and her eyes lit up. “Troy!” she exclaimed happily. There was a look on his face that appeared...frustrated. Had he gotten his heart back? Was that a real emotion on his face? Keilani’s heart raced at the thought, but then she realized that was impossible. If Troy had managed to destroy the χ-blade, he probably would have told her. No, what she was seeing was just the imitation of frustration--the kind of frustration only a Nobody could have. Wanting, trying to feel something but only in vain. Keilani couldn’t imagine it. Her smile disappeared as she came up to Troy. It was so unfair that his heart had been taken away from him, and from her, just like that. Deep inside, she was starting to feel some anger toward Callum for all this. She knew this was actually Vanitas’s fault, not Callum’s...but she couldn’t help it. “Um, hey, Troy,” she said, trying to smile again once she was in front of him. “How are you doing?” ------------------------------------------------------------ “Here, Alex, why don’t you get on the other side of him for me? We’ll carry him together,” Rebekah said as she got up and put one of Felix’s arms over her shoulders to help him up. “We’re almost there,” she said to Felix with a smile. “Are you doing okay?”
  6. (LOL Yuffie's right, Not-with-a-whimper. Maybe Tyler should respond to Tudi. But Yuffie, could you at least have Jayson start driving toward the hospital? And maybe make the dialogue between Tudi and Tyler kind of short so that they all reach the hospital soon? Then the whole story could start progressing again. ) Alexis smiled timidly. “Well, no. I guess not. I’ve just never really been able to see whether my own will is stronger than my Inhabiter’s. But she doesn’t seem to be feeling very aggressive at the moment, so it’ll probably be fine.” She shrugged and got into the car, finding an empty seat across from a small brunette girl (Keilani) who seemed distracted. She could tell that the girl’s Inhabiter felt familiar to Larxene, but Larxene wasn’t able to tell who it was. She looked around at the rest of the people in the vehicle. “Um, hey, everyone. I’m Paige,” she lied, once again adopting a shy and awkward persona. Mariah was too distracted by Joy to notice the newcomer, and Rebekah gave a small smile and a nod in Alexis’s direction. Keilani turned her head from the window, as Troy was no longer in sight, and greeted Alexis with a grin. “Hi, Paige, I’m Keilani,” she said, shaking Alexis’s hand. As soon as their hands touched, Alexis felt Larxene gasp. “Naminé! That little wimp is Inhabited by Naminé! I knew she felt familiar...” Larxene sounded as if she was ready to tear Naminé apart. Larxene, calm down! Alexis reprimanded. Don’t blow our cover! You can vent to me once we’re far enough away from all these goody-goods. Now shut up! Naminé had an uneasy feeling when Keilani shook Alexis’s hand. “Keilani, I can’t think of a way to describe Paige’s Inhabiter other than...well, evil. She seems a bit familiar, too...” Didn’t Paige say that her Inhabiter is Maleficent? Of course she’s evil! Keilani replied. As for the familiarity, it’s probably just because you’ve been through all of Sora’s memories, right? So in a way, you’ve met Maleficent before. “Yeah, you’re right,” Naminé said, sounding a bit more relaxed. “Let’s just hope that Maleficent doesn’t feel like picking a fight with us any time soon. You heard what happened with James and Sephiroth...” Alexis could see the small shift in Keilani’s face when they shook hands, and smiled sadly. “You’re probably able to detect my Inhabiter, huh?” she said quietly. “I’m sorry if she scares you. Truthfully, she scares me as well. I don’t know why she chose me of all people, but I don’t like it one bit. Don’t worry, I won’t hang around with you guys long enough for her to come loose and try to hurt any of you.” Keilani’s returning smile was also sad, but there was some optimism in her tone. “I know you’ll be fine, Paige. I can tell that you’re a fighter, even if you can’t see it in yourself. Your will can definitely overpower hers.” “That’s a sweet thing for you to say, Keilani.” “Don’t mention it,” Keilani grinned, then turned to the driver. “So Jayson, are we heading out now? It looks like everyone’s here!”

  8. Cake and ice cream separately is what I prefer, but I'll eat ice cream cake if that's the only option.
  9. Krista instantly falls to the ground lifeless, her eyes appearing to stare blankly into some other dimension that you can’t see. You gaze at her corpse for a moment, unable to believe you just killed a person, and to your amazement, it starts to fade away until it’s completely gone. You are breathless and shocked, but also relieved that you don’t have to deal with her anymore. You sigh heavily. “Lucas?” Molly questions from behind you. You turn to her, glad to stop thinking about the act you’ve just committed. No matter how much of a monster Krista was, you still feel slightly shaken about having taken someone’s life. “Yeah,” you say to Molly, nodding at her. “Even though Krista had the wrong answer, she was right about my name. It’s Lucas.” Your voice is quiet as you say this, and you’re looking down at the ground a little bashfully. If you ever told Molly your real name, you didn’t think it would be like this. You don’t exactly know what your expectations would’ve been for the right moment, but...this wouldn’t have been it. Too late now, though. “You were embarrassed about that?” Molly asks, smiling. “What wrong with a name like Lucas? I think it’s a nice name.” “N-no, I wasn’t embarrassed about it!” you say, a little too quickly. “I just...didn’t like it as much as my middle name.” The truth is, you were embarrassed about that name. Shortly before you met Molly, some annoying kid in your preschool class teased you because you had the same name as the creator of Star Wars. You realize now that the kid was probably a total idiot for making fun of you on such a petty subject, but for some reason it stuck with you all these years, and you’ve been hiding your real name ever since. “So you still want me to call you Conner? I will if you want me to, though I do like your real name a lot.” Molly is still smiling and she steps a little closer to you, placing her hand lightly on your cheek. You smile back timidly. “S-sure, you can--” you stop mid-sentence when you happen to glance up and realize that Natalie is still there, looking at you and Molly. You look back at Molly and clear your throat, trying to hide the awkward feeling you’re experiencing. “Hey, Molly, this is Natalie. She’s the one who helped me find you.” Molly turns to face Natalie, then extends her hand. “Nice to meet you,” she says warmly. “Likewise,” Natalie says with equal warmth, shaking Molly’s hand. “You’re lucky to have such a great friend like Conner. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to meet both of you.” You wonder why Natalie is still referring to you as Conner. Is it that she heard your real name, but still calls you Conner because that’s what you prefer to be called? Or did she really not hear about your real name? You can’t tell, and you don’t really want to ask, either. You scratch your head nervously, watching the two girls in front of you. Molly, whom you’ve known your whole life, and are beginning to realize you have special feelings for. Natalie, whom you just met not too long ago, but who gave you goosebumps the instant you first laid eyes on her. You shake your head to clear it. “So, um, Natalie, what are you doing here anyway?” you ask with astonishment. You hope she has a way of getting home--it would be awful to know that she left with no way of getting back just so that she could save you.
  10. I think they're pretty sweet. The only reasons I'm not participating are because 1) If I were to win, the pre-order probably wouldn't get to my house on the release date, which is important to me, and 2) There aren't any "Mark of Mastery" editions being given away, which is what I have chosen to purchase. But hey, it's awesome for the people who want to participate! Shoots whoever voted for the fifth option.
  11. I really doubt the rumor about it becoming XV is true. Also, FFXIV has been out for quite a while now...
  12. If I could understand Japanese perfectly, I would definitely choose Japanese over English. But, alas, I'm still not very good with the language.
  13. Finally got my awesome 3DS and played the DDD demo. So beautiful!!! :'D

  14. (Um, LOL I thought I had implied a couple times that Rebekah was already in the car. Oh, well. ) Rebekah took her place next to Felix, not knowing whether or not to be surprised that Jayson was Felix’s old friend. But since they knew each other, Rebekah decided to be a little nicer to him, as long as he was respectful to her. She laughed a little at their exchange. “I hope you don’t drag me into any of your crazy adventures,” she commented lightheartedly. “Well, actually, I hope you don’t do any more of that stupid stuff, unless it’s aimed at our enemies.” ------------------------------------------------------------ Dammit, Alexis thought, though she only allowed her face to look slightly surprised. She had hoped she wouldn’t be seen. The next instant, she had a change of heart. Hm, it never hurts to keep your enemies close. “I-Inhabited?” she echoed to the spoiled brat of a young man. “Well, yeah... I’d like to come with you, but my Inhabiter is...Maleficent,” she said, picking a name out of the air as she cautiously approached the oversized SUV. “I don’t want anything bad happening to anyone. But if you wouldn’t mind, I’ll hang around with you guys for a bit.” Just keep yourself hidden well, Larxene. If Larxene had physical form, she would have been gritting her teeth. “I will, but it won’t be easy,” she growled. “I don’t know how long I’ll be able to stand that bunch of idiots.” Since Larxene was holding herself back, she couldn’t make out who the other Inhabiters were, only that most were annoying or pathetic, and one...was slightly more familiar than the rest, but not in a bad way. Really, the feeling was almost pleasant. And there was only one person she had ever looked at in a somewhat friendly way...but that was also before he had screwed her and Marluxia over. She just hoped he wouldn’t recognize her, because her cover could very well be blown.
  15. No, I don't let video games affect school or work. If I've got to do school or homework or my job, I won't play video games. Period.
  16. Felix’s declination of the potion perplexed Rebekah. She would have taken the stuff in an instant had she been in Felix’s situation. He was definitely tougher and more selfless than she was, and it made her admire him more, though it brought thoughts of her own stupid flaws to the front of her mind at the same time. She pushed the thoughts aside and helped Felix into his seat while listening to his plan, then nodded and gave a small smile. “That sounds good to me. Smart thinking. Have you made up very many of these kinds of excuses throughout your life?” she asked with a light laugh.
  17. (@Not-with-a-whimper: Good idea! I don’t think I’ll have her involved with Scott in any way for right now, but other than that, I’ll go with what you suggested. Thanks! http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png @Damion: Haha! I see what you did there. ;P Well, I'm glad you're glad to have me back!) When Mariah saw the inside of the SUV limousine, she realized that it was even bigger than it looked on the outside. Maybe there wasn’t room for her on one of the seats, but she could kneel beside Joy on the floor. She didn’t want to leave him, and the look of the Corridor of Darkness creeped her out a little. “Yeah, we’ll meet you there, Callum,” she said as she climbed into the vehicle. She went all the way to the back where Joy had been laid down, squeezed his hand, and kissed his forehead sadly. Seeing him injured and bleeding so badly made her feel helpless. ------------------------------------------------------------ Keilani noticed that she had received a text, and her heart skipped a beat when she saw that it was from Troy. The message gave Keilani some hope, though she wondered exactly what he meant by saying that it would be alright. Why did he text her in the first place? Was he starting to try to imitate the emotions and actions of a “normal” person, a whole being with a heart, the way Nobodies did? That must be it. She didn’t know what she thought of this, but it once ignited her determination to destroy that awful χ-blade and get Troy’s heart back for him. If she knew anything about Nobodies, his desire to be whole again might drive him to do things that the “real” Troy would never have fathomed before. Then again, he could probably keep a level head as long as the χ-blade was in their hands and they could think of a plan to properly destroy it. She looked up at him with a small smile as he flew away on his glider. “Yeah, Troy,” she said quietly. “Everything’s going to be alright.” ------------------------------------------------------------ Rebekah put her arm around Felix’s waist to steady him, feeling excessive warmth in her cheeks--she still wasn’t quite accustomed to all this physical contact, especially with a man. “I don’t care about the blood,” she replied. “Wait...you can’t feel your legs?” she asked in horror. “Are you okay?” she asked, though she had asked the silly question before. She looked at Jayson and tried not to sound too desperate as she spoke. “Hey, can we get a move-on here? We’ve got lots of people who need to get to that hospital!” ------------------------------------------------------------ Alexis was getting bored. This random fight wasn’t enough for her, and she couldn’t very well show James her true colors...yet. It was time to stir up something truly fun and chaotic. No one seemed to be looking at her at the moment, to absorbed in the battle, so this would be a good opportunity to head out. With Larxene’s power, she summoned a Corridor of Darkness and got halfway inside so that the left half of her was concealed in the shadow of the corridor. Perfect. Then she screamed in “terror” and acted as if she was being dragged in by her left arm, struggling against it. She got further inside until her face could no longer be seen, but she still reached her right hand out for dramatic effect, then covered her mouth with the other hand and screamed through it, as if her “captor” was trying to shut her up. She quickly closed the Corridor before anyone would have a chance to follow her, then turned around to look at her new surroundings. She hadn’t really tried to end up anywhere in particular, just some place that would be far away from that prison. Alexis noticed that she was in an alleyway, and she heard a bit of commotion going on a ways down the block. She peaked her head out to the street to see, and noticed a relatively large group piling into an SUV limousine, or otherwise laying on the ground or looking stunned. Lots of them appeared to be injured. “Ah...so here they all are,” Larxene mused. “A whole bunch of Inhabitors. With a couple of very annoying ones, at that. Well, I don’t want them to sense me right now.” With that, Larxene laid back and made it so that her presence would be far more difficult for others to sense. The only disadvantage to this was that it didn’t give her much influence over her host at all. Not that she needed it at the moment--the two of them tended to see eye-to-eye on a lot of their general goals. But she would need it later so that she could deal with a particular Inhabitor in that group... Alexis ducked back inside the alleyway. I wonder where they’re going? she thought. As if in response, she overheard a girl shout the word “hospital” and smirked. Of course. She got her phone out and double-checked to make sure the GPS was disabled so that she couldn’t be easily tracked, then looked up hotels near the hospital everyone was going to. (I know I can’t control anyone’s characters, but I would really appreciate it if no one would notice Alexis or find her anytime very soon. This would help me so that I can actually build up to some action with her, instead of keeping up the innocent facade. EDIT: Ethan and Scott are the only exceptions to my humble request, since Alexis knows she doesn't need to act innocent around them. Thanks everyone! http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png)
  18. (I’M BACK, GAAAAIIIIIIISSSSSS!!!!!! Haha wow, I’m so glad I don’t have 20 pages to catch up on! ) Alexis didn’t know how to feel about Scott’s apparent death. On one hand, it was something of a relief to her, but on the other...she hadn’t inherited his powers like he promised she would. Ugh! Why was she surprised? Larxene...do you think he’s really gone? she asked. “Well, I can’t sense Marluxia. Maybe it’s just because he’s too far away, but my best guess is that he and Scott really are dead,” Larxene responded with the indifference characteristic of a sadistic Nobody. Alexis sighed inwardly. Oh, well, she thought. I don’t need his power anyway. I’ve got plenty of my own. It was then that she remembered she should be crying for Scott’s death, and she immediately willed her eyes to overflow with tears. Hopefully the delay in her sobbing would just be interpreted as initial shock. She then felt Larxene’s genuine shock as Avan arrived. “How interesting...he vaguely reminds me of Lord Xemnas...” Alexis had no idea who that was, but she quickly dove out of the crossfire that was taking place. She wanted to roll her eyes at the senseless fighting that was accomplishing nothing but she only pasted a horrified look on her face, as if she was afraid for James and Ethan. ------------------------------------------------------------ Mariah looked over and saw the limousine that had arrived several yards away. Several of their friends were getting into it, so she figured that whoever the driver was could be trusted. It looked like there may not be enough room for all four of them (Mariah, Elie, Callum, and Joy), but maybe they could at least get Joy in that car. She wanted to protect him from the effects the Dark Corridor may have on him, but she could care less about herself. “Callum, get him into that limo,” she said, pointing to it. “Then if there’s not enough room for us in there, we can get to the hospital through your Corridor. Sound good?” ------------------------------------------------------------ Keilani turned her head away from the sight of Sumer’s dead body, feeling sick to her stomach. She craved Troy’s comforting embrace at this moment, but she remembered that he couldn’t feel anything, and probably wouldn’t fell enthusiastic about putting his arms around a girl who displayed emotional weakness. She had to appear strong. But even though she had initially greeted the issue of Troy losing his heart with optimism, she was beginning to wonder whether he could ever go back to the same way he had been before. She wouldn’t be able to stand this much longer. She got into the limo silently, trying to distract herself with how huge and luxurious the limo was--she had never been inside one before. ------------------------------------------------------------ Without warning, Aqua took over. “Terra?!” she exclaimed, her eyes alight. She sprinted over to him and embraced him, never wanting to let go. But then she remembered Rebekah and blushed a little, realizing that she had probably offended both her host and Felix. She let go of him and gave Rebekah control again, who immediately turned away and ran back over to Felix. Her blush deepened at what Jayson had said to her as she put Felix’s arm around her shoulder and helped him into the limo. She looked at Jayson irritably and responded, “I think I’ll just sit with my boyfriend.” The last word sent a rush through her. She had never called someone that before, and it felt amazing to call Felix her boyfriend. “Find someone else to ride shotgun with you.” She cringed at how awkward that last sentence sounded, and wished she hadn’t said it, because it sounded so stupid. Comebacks and snide remarks certainly weren’t in her area of expertise. (Okay, I'm ready for Alexis to get in on some action, but I really don't think she can do any fighting without showing how evil she really is. I'm getting really bored with the seduction thing, it's getting tedious, and I'm trying to think of a way to ease out of the need to manipulate James so that Sephiroth can take over and be on her and Ethan's side, at least temporarily, and so that I can show Alexis's true personality and abilities at all times, instead of her having to hide it, because that's why I made this character in the first place. So, any ideas, people?)

  20. Rebekah looked back at Felix with wide eyes as he fell to the ground. She then ran over to him and put up a Barrier around both of them, protecting them from Sumer’s constant attacks. She gritted her teeth at the effort it required--this battle was exhausting her, and she didn’t know how long she could keep the Barrier up. “You okay?” she asked Felix, though she could see that he wasn’t. ------------------------------------------------------------ Alexis was thoroughly shocked, and she allowed it to show on her face. Was Scott really planning to give up his life and...give her his powers? The thought made her almost giddy, but she suppressed this emotion, as it would be quite inappropriate to look happy while watching her “college friend” being possessed. While Ethan took the noble, “I-must-do-what’s-right” position, she decided to play the more nurturing and forgiving role, having to maintain the female stereotype and all. “Scott!” she screamed. “Ethan, wait!” She buried her head in James’s shoulder as if her protests would be useless. ------------------------------------------------------------ Keilani’s eyes were drawn to the light coming from the χ-blade, which revealed Troy’s face. She was surprised to see him, but as the dark rain came down, hitting both herself and him, she forgot her surprise and ran over to him, getting hit several times along the way and ignoring the pain. Once she had reached him, she put a Barrier up around both of them. “Troy, what are you doing here?” she asked breathlessly. ------------------------------------------------------------ “Joy!” Mariah screamed. She ran to him and knelt down, putting an arm under his shoulders and holding the upper half of his body close to her. She glanced at his severed leg and quickly looked away again, and desperately wished there was some way for her to help him. (Number XV, do you want someone to heal Joy’s leg or take him to the hospital to have it sewn back on or something? Or do you want him to be without a right leg for the rest of the RP?)
  21. OF COURSE!!!! I would cry if I got that kind of opportunity. :'D

  23. (Sounds good to me! I guess I'll make a post about Elie now while I have the opportunity. It'll be boring though, just like my last post.) Elie looked from side to side for a moment, wondering which battle to jump in on. "Elie, we've got to help Cloud!" Aerith urged. "Come on, let's go!" Elie felt herself being tugged by Aerith, and it seemed that the decision was already made for her. "Okay then. Let's do this!" She ran toward Reilly and stopped a safe distance away, then shot Blizzard at him through her staff, careful not to hit Mariah, Seichi, or Joy as she did so.
  24. (Yeah, sorry I can't come on very much anymore. This summer is turning out to be sooo crazy for me! LOL so much for free time... Anyway, Yuffie did give us permission to control her characters, so does anyone want to do that? I could possibly take over Elie and Tudi, but then again, I can't get on much, so it might be pointless. But I think maybe Number XV or Azure Flame should control Sumer, since none of their characters are fighting him at the moment. It would be kind of "unbiased," you know?)
