  1. Sony seems to be in the lead of the Next Gen race right now. Though Nintendo always has an impressive E3. I can't see Microsoft "winning" unless the Xbox One is revealed to do something ground breaking, something that will change gaming forever, which I doubt.
  2. Only good will come of this thread. Put it this way, this is FAR from brainwashing. They are simply teaching their beliefs in a way that is child-friendly, and there is nothing wrong about explaining why you think your belief is more correct than another. Comparing and contrasting is crucial for helping others believe your point. This is no more different than a child friendly presentation on evolution. Personally, I think we need to stop interpreting the Bible so literally. For example, I've heard that the "6-days (+1 to rest)" explanation, like other things in the Bible are merely metaphors to make the Bible more understandable to the common man. Perhaps 6 days is really 6 billion years? 6 billion years would be pretty close to the actual age of the Solar system. However, the common man at the time the Bible was written would have no concept at all of numbers in the billions, it would be very confusing or just far fetched to him, they wouldn't be able to grasp it. Something like 6 days on the other hand would sound more feasible to the simple men of that age. Additionally, it's possible that the 6+1 thing was added to justify the creation of the modern calender at the hands of the Romans. Adding a biblical meaning to our 7 day week cycles would make it more appealing to people. I don't believe in Creationism though. Evolution and the more scientific theories on how we came to be just make more sense to me. However, I can see how Creationism would be more appealing to others, and that's okay.
  3. Canada: "We live up to our stereotypes, because we are proud of them."
  4. With that in mind. I think Obama is a bad president. Despite this, I think he's a great man.
  5. I like how roughly 75% of all of the release titles will be sequels rather than completely new games. Of course, Nintendo and Sony probably won't do anything differently, but it just shows the direction the game industry is going. Sequel after sequel, few truly new ideas.
  6. http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/gamestop-stock-plummets-following-xbox-one-used-game-204230663.html They're causing the game industry to crash before the Xbox One has even been released yet. This is going absolutely wonderfully!
  7. Just remember... No matter what your belief is, it's no more illogical and stupid than somebody else's. Because we silly hairless monkeys running around on a tiny planet in the middle of nowhere TOTALLY know everything about the universe. So basically, play nice and respect other people's beliefs. Also people, if you are going to have a scientific debate, and use the terms "Fact" and Theory" please keep to the scientific definitions of the words. Fact: http://batesvilleinschools.com/physics/PhyNet/AboutScience/Fact.html Theory: http://batesvilleinschools.com/physics/PhyNet/AboutScience/Theory.html Other definitions of words you all love using incorrectly: http://batesvilleinschools.com/physics/PhyNet/AboutScience/ObjCh1AboutSci.html
  8. I hate it how some people only view the gender they are attracted to in a completely sexual sense. Nothing about their personality or who they are, center of physical attraction being purely sexual and all that crap. Of course it's alright to like a girl because she has, for example, your ideal breast size, but that should just be one trait out of many and by nowhere close to the most important one.
  9. Still a better love story than Twilight.
  10. Incorrect, it's the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race
  11. I don't care what your religious beliefs are, rejecting evolution is simply rejecting truth. You have to understand that the book of Creation was written by human beings, at a time where we believed the Earth was flat (there are still idiots that believe this though). One of the key components to any religion is explaining where we came from. Now we obviously know that we evolved from more primitive monkeys in layman's terms. Denying it is like denying that you breath. It's just really obvious and it makes 100% total sense. It's even been proven through experimenting with insects, small fish, and micro-organisms. Hell, the reason why you need a Flu shot every year is because of evolution. The flu virus evolves into a new form every year. So yeah, creationism is completely wrong and is only relevant in a spiritual and metaphorical sense. Of course, you could easily make the argument that evolution comes from divine intervention. God or some other deity strategically selecting and experimenting with which traits were superior and would create a better creature. The genetic mutations happen because God makes them happen. Agnostic- Christians such as myself like arguing about this. I call myself an agnostic-christian because I sort of combine both ideas. For example, if energy is neither created, nor destroyed, and if there was nothing before the big-bang, where did the energy for the big bang come from?
  12. It's really simple. The days of a dedicated device are over, just look at smartphones. Why create a bunch of separate devices where you can just as easily combine all of those devices together without losing effectiveness? This has been a trend that has going on for a while. Basically since the Gamecube, Xbox, and PS2 generation.
  13. Because encouraging your employees to cheer for the product they invested countless hours of time and hardwork into is totally pathetic. Shame on you for increasing company moral Microsoft.
  14. Well this poll won't be biased....
  15. Because it's the number of consoles they'll sell.
  16. Stealth PC Master race post? No
  17. The german is because of the whole PC elitist or PC Master race idea that PC gamers have.
  18. Agreed, but it looks like they will save that for E3. Both Sony and Microsoft are taken the reverse approaches of each other. In Microsoft's case, showing off the console at their reveal, then the games at E3. With Sony they will show off the games first, and then the console at E3. Again, I'd rather see them split it half and half. I'm just curious to what the 15 exclusives are. Will they be sequels to current franchises? Will they be reboots of old Xbox 360 and even Xbox franchises that died out? Or will they be completely new series? I'm hoping for the latter but we'll probably get the first two instead;
  19. All the Playstation 4 reveal was were Asian and British people masturbating over graphics with little focus on the actual console. Here Microsoft is focusing a lot on the console but not enough on any of the games. Both approaches are total shit and a middle ground needs to be made.
  20. Please post your incoherent and biased comments here so people who want an actual discussion can talk. Examples: "DURRRR DAH PLAYSTASHON FOAR UHHHHH HAZ POOPY UNLINE!" "DERP THE XBOCKS HAVSHS NUH GAEMS! HERP DERP!" "LIEK DAH NINTENDO WIIU (HERP DERP THEY SAID WII HUR HUR) IZ LEIK FOR DAH LITTEL KIDZ!" "Der PC ist der Herrenrasse des Gaming. Begrüßen Sie den PC! pc Heil! pc Hagel! Konsolen sind minderwertig! Echte Gamer spielen auf PC! Tod den Konsolen! pc heil!" (The pc is the master race of gaming. Hail the pc! pc Hail! pc hail! Consoles are inferior! True gamers play on PC! Death to the consoles! pc heil!) This way, the official discussion threads can stay pure and untainted by idiocy.
  21. They announced 15 new exclusives Fanboys... fanboys everywhere.
