True about Belle and Cinderella though. It's unconfirmed if Kairi was a princess. She lived in Radiant Gardens, but in BBS, Kairi and her grandmother walked away from the castle when Grandmother told Kairi it was time to go home (just played that level today). I think something happened to her parents before BBS, but then again, her grandmother might just live with them. I think that Xehanort sent Kairi away alone, and I remember hearing that the mayor of Destiny Islands adopted her, or something along those lines.

Okay, I know that she isn't but wasn't it said that she was originally planned to be one? They decided otherwise in the end, but it'd be interesting to see who they'd replace, or if they'd make an eigth Princess of Heart. What do you think? Personally, I'd remove Alice and replace her with Ariel. Ariel is actually a princess, although having Alice shows another exception to the rule that Princesses of Heart don't have to be a princess (along with Kairi).
