Just in time too, because moments later, a blizzard hit. A whirlwind of snow blew across where Remus and Sarah had been standing moments before. “Sarah, we’ve got to bust out of here. Let’s head to my dorm. It’s closest and has whatever we need if we have to survive. Quilava, go!” Quilava appeared and prepared to blast down a wall and guide them to his dorm. Remus groaned. “A regular day of school; is that too much to ask for?”

Pretty much everyone signed one and all the kids wore whatever they wanted. Drex gave a chilling laugh. “All day, then I’ll give you a break.” He jumped over Johnny and launched a wall of fire around Johnny, disabling his movement. Then he summoned a wall of golden swords, trapping Cloud and Zack. Serah and Vanille had been fighting Heartless when Drex lunged at Serah’s heart. Vanille, as expected, jumped in the way. Drex impaled her and tossed her to the ground. He held his dark Keyblade above her body and her heart came out. Then, with a surge of power, he threw his red keyblade through the heart. Out with it came a shining orange crystal. Vanille’s Ultima. Drex leapt forward and seized the Ultima, leaving Vanille’s heart floating over her body. “Betcha didn’t know Keyblades could do that!” he taunted Johnny. ”Just think, one wrong move and I could have broken her heart.” Drex reached for the heart, but an arrow flew by his hand and he jumped back. “No you don’t!” Serah shouted. With that, Drex disappeared in a puff of smoke, and with him, the Heartless. Serah kneeled by Vanille, Vanille’s heart illuminating Serah’s face. “Johnny, do something!” Serah shouted. ”I think you can save her!” ---------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Drex appeared in front of Dr. Cid. “I spared the girl to give them a couple options. A test of sorts.” Drex flipped the Ultima right into Dr. Cid’s hands. “See, I have no need for such an item. And her heart, while it radiated a strong light, it is useless towards my endeavors.” First Hope, now Vanille. All seemed to be going according to plan…

He looked at Johnny and Cloud. “You know, Leon, Yuffie, Cid, Merlin, Tifa… And Aerith,” he taunted. ”I’m assuming that you guys haven’t been back in a while, right? You don’t know about the terrible fate that befell them, do you?” He wanted them to feel the pain of loss. He brandished both Keyblades. “Now, you shall walk the same path as them!”

I’ve seen Manakins of the fighters of this conflict, but what of their Eidolons?” He held Alexander’s crystal in front of him. “This could be a very valuable weapon if in the wrong hands,” he said with a laugh.

Drex smirked. “Don’t fake it. I have no feelings, ergo, I am the master of emotions. I know you have no feasible means of obtaining Lightning’s heart. Only a Keyblade wielder could do that. Instead, just save her for me whenever she pops up. Retain her, abuse her, just don’t crush her heart. In the meantime, I’ll wait. I’ll help you achieve Ultima. There were two keyblade wielders for Cosmos. I’ll tap into one of their ally’s heart, seize the Ultima, and then leave the keyblade wielders to clean up the mess. The victim my survive, but we’ll be one step closer. And a perfect target would be one of the girls. Vanille or Serah?f

We’ve got to get going, cause class starts in tem minutes.” Just watching the battle made Remus itch for some action. He had yet to enjoy a fair fight. But it all came with time. Right now he had a team of rookie Pokemon, and he wanted to train them up a bit. With his current team, he stood no chance against these competitors using full evolutions. But for that Survival Class he’d bring his A game tomorrow. “Hazimie, Sarah, do you guys wanna come over to my dorm after school today? The Articuno Dorm area has a battle arena and television. We could train and have a good time.” Remus saw Joe nearby and extended the invitation to him too. “You know, for a training school, we haven’t done much training. Tonight let’s kick back and hone our skills.” Off to Chris’ class they went.
