  1. And that, folks, is the Winner's "proof." It all makes sense now.
  2. It's a good movie. I can't really describe why I like it and it's very weird and confusing, but I like it.
  3. So I bet you guys are all wondering what I look like... Well here it is I know, I know... I was having a bad hair day. Please don't be too harsh.
  4. Orrrrrr maybe she did that so that if Winner showed people they'd THINK it's photoshopped
  5. Shana never would've typed that. It would've been dirtier.
  6. I started college fresh out of high school, went for 2 semesters and then stopped. I enjoyed the freedom of having a job and a vehicle and would skip my classes and shirk my school work. When my grades came back and I did pretty horrible, my dad stopped paying for me to go. I definitely was pretty stupid for what I did and now I'm back in college, on my first semester, working toward an associates in Electrical Engineering Technology and then I'm either going to get my bachelors in Electrical Engineering Technology and move on for a masters in computer science or just get a bachelors in computer science.
  7. All I know is if the world stopped spinning tomorrow I'd never shed a tear.
  8. Bilbo strikes again
  9. Orrrrrrr..... What if Shana hires new mods cuz it's her job?
  10. You think it's fake caring simply because you don't give a shit. If you don't give a shit, you don't have to comment. Assuming that you know if someone you don't even know cares or not just makes you come off as an asshole.
  11. Just cuz you don't give shit doesn't mean other people don't.
  12. I think most threads that start with "Guys,..." tend to end up like... this lol
  13. Well it's hard for me to say since I wasn't there obviously. Sorry you had a bad experience. All I can say is I hope you don't let it make you think that every gamestop employee is suddenly the devil spawn.
  14. And like I said, that may have been what happened. I admit I wasn't there and I can't know for sure that what you say isn't true or may be completely true.
  15. I'm not saying you're kidding. You may honestly believe that's what happened. You sure there wasn't any kind of miscommunication? Because I know a lot of customers that I've dealt with have thought one thing despite that you repeatedly tell them another.
  16. Not saying they should do that. But why blame all gamestop employees for one or a few's attitude? Honestly, I really doubt they would REFUSE to get it out and sell it to you. It sounds like you're blowing it out of proportion to me. But I wasn't there, so I suppose I can't say for sure.
  17. They're also forced to do that. I have 2 friends who work for Gamestop and if their number of pre-orders and power up rewards cards aren't high enough they get written up. 3 write ups and they're fired. When you're an employee and you're working for a pay check that is necessary to pay your bills, you're going to do what your boss tells you to do. Not their fault.
  18. Then you probably should've phrased it that way. It ends up making you sound kinda ignorant. Honestly, I've worked in customer service for 4 years now. It's a pretty shitty gig and you get hardly any respect from anyone, including your co-workers and bosses, etc. Not condoning rude behavior from employees, but in some cases they probably weren't being as rude as you think. I know a lot that I've met blow things out of proportion.
  19. "Gamestop people are all pretty rude." Please tell me of your experiences walking into each and every gamestop and speaking to each and every employee that has worked there ever.
  20. speak to people in the field. In which case, I've spoken to both of them about engineering, I think I would be interested in it, but with my lack of experience in the field, it's tough to tell. I at least know I pick up well on computers.
  21. Well my mom's fiance has a mechanical engineering degree, so I'm sure he knows some other engineers, however he doesn't work in the field anymore, so I'm sure his connections would be limited. My dad's experience in the military is equivalent to an electrical engineering technician and he currently works for the railroad, which employs engineers and computer science majors. So either one, he may be able to help me get in later. Unless you were just referring in order to sp...
  22. and has far more projected growth when compared to the electrical engineering job field. I'm honestly leaning toward Computer Science, but I'd like to hear some other views on the subjects to put some more thought into it. I don't really have a background in either field, but I pick up quickly with computers as well as with technology in general.
  23. Well with Electrical Engineering I would have to wait until I had my bachelors until I could get a job in the field. Unless I got an engineering technology degree which some employers don't see it as being on equal footing as an engineering degree. I would go for the tech degree and have a job in 2 years, but I'm worried I may not have the same job opportunities in the long run as straight engineer. Computer Science would allow me job opportunities after my associates and bachelors an...
