    Astra lifted her face from her hands. She looked at Chad and saw his eyes filled with sincerity. She coughed. "Uhm. I-its okay." She stood up and faced her friend. Astra smiled a little and said, "However," she stuck a finger to her cheek, "you have to make it up to me somehow, you know."

    "AHHH!" Astra screamed so loud the windows could've shattered. When she opened her eyes, she caught sight of Chad. She felt a mis of relief, embarrassment, and anger towards him. "You- you IDIOT!" She stomped toward the couch and sat down trying to hide her red face in her palms. "You scared the DAYLIGHTS out of me..."

    Astra jumped at the thud. And, in the process, let the food dye fall to the floor. "Oh no..." Now there was blue food coloring all over the counter and the floor. (Screw my life...) She thought. As she was walking towards the sink she wondered what that noise could've been...She tried hard not to imagine it was a robber. What would she do if it was?? Instead, she forced herself it was a bird that hit the building or something. She turned of the water and cleaned the dye. After, Astra started to walk towards the living room to sit down and rest for a while...She deserved it right?

    Astra waited for about five minutes and then became worried. The groceries were going to be ruined... She tried opening the door again, but this time, gave it a push with her knee. (Oh God. It was just stuck.) She sighed, irratated at her own misfortune and entered. She hurriedly started to pull out bowls and emptied the bags out. "I gotta get this done before Chad comes home..." She said, tying an apron around her waist.

    She came back from her errand to find the door jammed. (Maybe Chad was already back..) Astra thought. She placed her bags of ingredients on the floor and knocked to see if anyone was in.

    Astra wandered around in Chad's house once she was done cleaning. it was already one o' clock and she spent her whole day cleaning. She found her way into the kitchen and snooped in the fridge. She opened the freezer and saw it FULL with sea-salt ice cream. She remembered how wonderful they tasted and decided to take one. About half an hour passed and she discovered that she had depleted the stock of ice cream. (Oh crap.) She thought. Astra then bolted to the store to buy ingredients to make more before Chad came home.

    "I-" But he was gone. Astra didn't even get a word in. She shook her head and looked at the door slightly ajar. "He broke the door's lock??" Astra pushed the door open as it let out a long squeak. His place was a mess. (You think as old as he is, he'd have time to clean this place..) She thought. She took a deep breath and started picking up clothes of the floor. The least she could do was HELP right?

    (Pfft...well I AM a fanfic writer ) Astra jumped "O-oh...okay!" She blinked and her stare wandered to the sun. Today seemed different to her...eerie but also encouraging... "I wonder what today will bring..." She whispered to herself. She then realized what she was doing and snapped herself out of it. Astra just sighed and patiently waited for friend again.
