  1. Well you might have to get in line. My girlfriend has got an even higher priority seat than Senpai.
  2. Finding himself being pushed back time and time again due to the difference in skill, Nathan began using his powers as a means of regaining some of the ground he had lost. However, this put a large strain on Nathan's body due to his already weakened state and caused him to fall to one knee. Nathan looked up, his vision becoming dim as a voice echoed in his ears alone. (Nathan~... Hey! Nathan! You're not seriously going to die right now, are you?) Staring at Warthyp, another young man with brilliant golden hair and dressed in a designer suit began to appear before Nathan's eyes. This was in fact a hallucination due to the loss of blood from Nathan's body, but he still found enough strength to not be taunted by a 'ghost'. "You... You shouldn't be here... Get the hell out." Warthyp and Nora most likely looked confused as Nathan seemingly began to hold a conversation with himself. The hallucination began to laugh. (This is pathetic, Nate. You always told me how you would make sure that you were remembered. How you would engrave your name in the stars. Ooh~ I'm Nathan Cross and I'm the God of the universe. But now look at you. You're about to keel over and die to some guy pretending to be a king.) Nathan's gaze was low, his body seemingly shutting down. All of a sudden, he could feel himself being lifted up by his hair, the hallucination whispering into his ear. (You are so weak! You know that youve always lost to me when it counts, just like how you've lost now.) Nathan's lips began to move the hallucination was taken aback by Nathan's next words. "No... I'm not... Done yet..." Feeling his feet touch the floor, allowing him to regaining his balance, and beginning to grip the arm that was holding him by his hair, Nathan grit his teeth as he began to feel strength gather within his body once more. "Never again... I will not lose to you ever again!" The hallucination smirked and with its final words it vanished. (Then come and get me.) The hallucination faded to reveal Warthyp, proving to Nathan that what he had seen was all in his head. However, this information was irrelevant to the current situation. What was relevant was the fact that Nathan had found a new and stronger driving force to keep him going for as long as possible. "I'll draw out the very limits of my power, just so that it means never losing to you again!" Nathan pulled right arm back and punched Warthyp straight in the chest, sending him catapulting against the far wall. Nathan began to click his knuckles, his expression emanating with dread. "Get up. I'm not even close to being finished with you yet." Nathan used his power to draw his sword back to his hand before running at Warthyp, attacking him relentlessly while sending out blasts with each swipe of the blade. "I won't lose. Not to you... Not to Tristan... And certainly not to this fake King right here!!" Nathan continued to unleash all of the energy he had to spare in order to keep Warthyp busy long enough for Nora to finish her task.
  3. Exactly how many people are planning to live with me when I move?
  4. Of course! Everyone knows that beef comes from Cows, not Humans.
  5. Fair enough I guess. I'll write up a post and then make two different back up posts. One for if MDS gets back in time and another for if he doesn't. Either way, I need to make a situation that will explain why Nathan has been temporarily taken out of the game.
  6. Well, I'm gonna get a post up soon, but there's not a lot more I can do unless I figure something out with MDS.
  7. Not to sound worried, but I still have the problem of being gone for two weeks.
  8. Awww~ *rubs your head* Everything'll be okay. I'm here now.
  9. Casually arriving last among all of the students, the trio of Koyomi, Alex and Haru reached the bulletin which listed the names of students by their rank. "10 students for the first tier, 30 students for the second, 50 students for the third, 100 students for the fourth and anyone who isn't mentioned is automatically put in the fifth tier. A pretty simple system that clearly separates the winners from the losers." And as expected, the three found their names in descending order from the top with Koyomi's name being ranked first with Alex and then Haru following. "They always like the smart ones." "Do not feel so bad Haru. You did well considering your opponents were Mr Valentine and myself." Haru huffed and turned away, mumbling to himself. "You need to get off your high horse a little.." Koyomi's eyes were dull, looking up to find his name at the top... again. "(I thought things might be different here...)" Koyomi's gaze sank as his hands retreated into his pockets, walking away from the group without a word. "(This world of wonder that I'm only just beginning to understand... If I'm not given even half the challenge that I deserve, then what will be the point? If I was even half as smart as I am now, I could still wipe the floor with Alex who is the closest to matching my intellect... I need an outlet.)" Haru and Alex watched Koyomi leave before looking back to the board. "Well, I'm sure K is going back to the dorm, so I think I'll call it a night too. I'll see in class tomorrow." "Undoubtedly. I bid you a good night Mr Nisshoku." "See ya." Haru gave Alex a wave before walking after Koyomi in hope of catching up to him. Alex stared at the board for another few seconds before gazing around the room at the students. "(Well, they all seem to be quite lively. Regardless, there is a mystery to be solved.)" Alex turned back to the board one final time and stared directly at the rank 10 spot, the final person who would be in their class. "(Why has that spot been left blank?)" ~Meanwhile~ Finally back at the dorm room, Haru found Koyomi already led on his bed with a dread filled expression. "Hey, you going to tell me what's up?" "It's the same..." "Huh?" "Everything... It's the same as before..." Koyomi sat up, his hair falling over his eyes as he seemed to be quite depressed. "This game I'm playing... It's too easy. Nothing's changed Luna. It's a good setting, but the challengers? They're no match for me... I've been here one day and my intuition is already a hell of a lot stronger than the collective knowledge of every other Hunter attending this academy right now. It's depressing how boring this is..." "Koyomi, it's the first day. Just wait a while and you'll get your challenge, I promise." "... Sure... Not like I got anything else to do." Koyomi led on his side, facing away from Haru. Haru himself sighed at this and began to get dressed for bed. "So, what's with the 'infatuated' act that you pulled for Arsinoe?" "Is that her name? I was just using her. The power and influence she has in this world will become useful one day. She'll probably ask me to be her boyfriend or something ludicrous like that." "You really know how to take advantage of emotions, don't you?" "Can't play a chess game without any pieces." "Really? That's how you're seeing this? This is more than just a game you know? All of humanity is at stake here!" Koyomi sighed before whispering to himself "I'm not even human..." Haru stared, getting annoyed with Koyomi's responses. "Whatever, I'm going to get some sleep. See you in the morning." Turning off the lights, Haru got into bed and soon fell asleep. Koyomi, knowing that he found it extremely hard to sleep at night, decided to simply close his eyes and wait silently until morning came, most likely imagining a unique situation to keep his mind from going dull.
  10. I think I made a good decision in making Nanatsu No Taizai my 100th anime watched.
  11. You could make a character sheet while you're waiting.
  12. As a "British" Citizen, I guarantee you there is nothing better.
  13. ... Well this seems like an appropriate time to mention that I'll be moving to Australia this year as well.
  14. Koyomi slowly regained consciousness, a dark look rested upon his face as he searched for the one who stole the answers from him. "(That man... He must have been Anubis' father... I need to find him and get him to tell me what he knows. That demon said that I was not human... But as far as I know, I could very well be a half creed rather than the Nephilim. I don't have enough evidence yet...)" Koyomi sighed, his expression becoming more relaxed as he found an arm in front of him. "You really know how to put on a show Mr Valentine." Alex teased with a smile, helping Koyomi up to his feet. "Tell me, was there a man who left this room before I awoke? If so, did he give any suggestion as to where he was going to be?" "None at all I am afraid. He was quite mysterious. With little effort, he separated you from the necromancer and carried her away. From my perspective, the man appeared to be the girl's father." "Yes, he appeared in my head and I received the same impression." From the stands, Haru sat up and watched as Koyomi and Alex theorised on the experience they had just undergone. "One little interrogation and they're the best of friends, just great~..." Feeling better thanks to Rose's magic, Haru began to stand while making sure to hold on to the wall for support. "In some ways, those two are just too much alike..." Haru sighed as his gaze glanced up at a clock. "Oh... Looks like we'll be able to find out what Tiers we're in about half an hour. Hey! Sherlock one and two, the Hunter exam results will be released soon! We should get going!" Koyomi and Alex sighed in sync with each other, knowing already which tier they would be put in. "Fine, lets go." Alex nodded in agreement and began heading. Turning to the ladies, the dreamy blonde gave a sweet smile and a wave with his eyes closed. "See you all later! I had fun~!" Koyomi was about to leave when he looked back at Arsinoe. "(In order to make what I said earlier sound convincing, I should probably do something to show my gratitude... Human beings are so annoying, even if they are magical.)" Koyomi approached Arsinoe with a smile. "Miss Tamir, I am very grateful for you bringing me here today. I look forward to meeting up with you again someday soon." Koyomi then calmly took her hand and kissed it, giving a small bow afterwards before heading out. In the background, Haru watched bewildered at Koyomi's actions, not understanding the relationship he was beginning to form with Arsinoe. "(Did I miss something?!)" Haru shook his head in an attempt to forget about Koyomi's unimaginable antics. Finally determining that it was time to go, Haru turned back at Rose and Kori. "Hey, uhhh... Thanks for healing me up, I owe you one." Haru blushed a little, now realising that he was surrounded by three women that he considered to be quite beautiful, activating his shy side. "W-W-Well... It was n-nice meeting you all... Thank you again!" Haru bowed and quickly left the area, rejoining Alex and Koyomi who had been waiting for him. "Well, what took you so long?" Haru's face still being red from when he left the three girls behind, he could only bring himself to respond with an embarrassed and stuttering tone in his voice. "N-N-Nothing!" Smirking, Koyomi turned away and began walking towards main building to get his results. "Well in any case, let's get this over with. It's been a long day for all of us." "I concur with Koyomi. Even I cannot continue for much longer considering today's number of extreme situations. I hope that tomorrow may bring a slightly easier set of events." "Fine fine fine, lets go." And so, the three Hunters-to-be set out for the main building in order to find out what there rank was for their first year at Twilight Academy.
  15. I've been wondering the same thing to be honest. I'll be going on Holiday next week, so I might have to drop out before this thing even starts.
  16. Alright everyone. Starting next Saturday, the mighty Oblivion-Sama will be going on a 2 week holiday around Europe. This does in fact mean that I'll be unable to access the iternet and, by extension, make posts on the Rp's I am in. However, once I come back, I will be hosting a brand new Roleplay. So, let me know if any of you are interested in joining.
  17. Okay, MDS, I have a slight problem. Next Saturday, I'll be going on holiday for two weeks and won't be able to get online during that time. So, I want to finish up this fight with Wathyp and then give Nathan and Nora some time to chat before then. I was maybe thinking that you could somehow take Nathan out of the game for a while until I get back? Just something brief to explain that he's missing.
  18. I know... Oh well! The anime is on a completely different track anyway, so you can't really compare the series to the manga.
  19. @_@ Senpai knows the ways of referring to things in such a way that it sounds completely different when out of context.
  20. Lol. MFW Kaneki *spoilers* devours Hide in the manga.
  21. Nathan's gaze darted to Nora who created a sword from her powers before throwing the blade directly towards him. Using his own powers to manipulate the blade as it spun through the air towards him, Nathan seemed to perfectly catch the new sword and slowly drew it from its sheath. Now, nodding at Nora in agreeance with her idea, he began to slowly walk towards Warthyp. "So, you claim that you are quite the magnificent being and that you should only be welcomed by the company of others such as yourself? Well, it just so happens that today is your lucky day, for you have before you a Prince!" Drawing the sword completely, Nathan flicked the blade to one side with ease, feeling the lightness of the sword. At the same time, the red headed youth gave the 'Majestic' Warthyp a slight bow with a grin drawn across his face. "Unfortunately for you however, I am a Prince who has lost his crown. So, to compensate..." Nathan placed the blade in an over head stance, keeping it pointed at his opponent with one hand as the second hand was used to hold the blade in place. Sliding his foot back to demonstrate his defensive stance, Nathan smirked at the noble. "... I will be taking your crown for myself." Without wasting another moment, Nathan began running toward Warthyp with the blade, swinging it in the general direction of his opponents limbs. However, Nathan found himself being countered at every single clash and not being able to land a single hit, leading to his anger beginning to boil. "You think I'll waver to this? Don't underestimate me!" Nathan backed off before swinging his blade widely, applying his powers to his attacks. This resulted in Warthyp being blown backwards off his feet. Nathan's breath was heavy, his wounds from his previous endeavours still hadn't healed and he was clearly approaching his limit once again. "Okay... If I keep going like this, I'm not going to make it. I have to stop using my powers, otherwise I'll pass out again. But if I give him any openings, I'm finished." Glimpsing back at Nora as she continued to pain, Nathan began to strategise on how to win. "With her power, this battle should become much easier, but... I'll need to buy some time for her to make me something special." Nathan began to back away as Warthyp began to recover, standing closer to Nora with the sword out in front of him. "I have an idea, but it'll take some time. I need you to create something powerful enough to take this guy out in one shot. Something like a rocket launcher might do the trick. I'll buy you as much time as you need, so do your best." Nathan said with a smile as he then turned back and ran into battle. Swiping his sword through the air, Nathan released several shockwaves in the shape of sword slashes in Warthyp's direction with the main intention of keeping him occupied while hoping that the attacks would do some damage to the man.
  22. Haru groaned in pain, coughing as his vision remained blurred. "(What the hell just happened...?)" Looking up, the black haired boy noticed the shattered glass and the now motionless pair of Koyomi and Anubis who were currently locking lips. "(What are they... Wait! The demon!)" Haru attempted to sit up, but felt a tremendous surge of pain rush to his abdomen as he did. "You had better stay where you are, scary Mr Nisshoku." Haru looked over at Alex who seemed to be the only one who was keeping calm. "Scary? ..." Haru looked down at his hand to see the extremely burnt skin being healed by Rose's magic. "Masamune... It really is cursed..." "Looks like it. Your true nature came to the surface it would seem. Quite fascinating in my opinion. However, what is even more interesting is the scene playing before us." Alex turned back to the two who were left in the interrogation room. "You see Haru, the barrier was broken thanks to your wrath and now the demon appears to be trying to escape from Anubis' body and into Koyomi's. However, something is odd." "Odd?" "Indeed. The demons migration seems to have halted. It is as if something is blocking the demon's entry to Koyomi's mind. Perhaps Koyomi's will is strong enough to overcome a demon possession." Haru stared at Alex before falling back flat on his back. "But that's... Not humanly possible." As Despair appeared in his true form, Koyomi gave a slow clap. "I have to say, that's quite the change in attire." Koyomi himself was sitting on a royal throne with a large table in front of him. On this table was many gourmet meals of the highest and finest quality available. "You know, I've always wished that me eating here would stop me from getting hungry on the outside, but that's a problem for another time. Sit." As if by some incomprehensible force, Despair seemed to suddenly be pushed into a chair that appeared out of nowhere. The chair itself was cheap and wooden, meant to emphasise the difference between the two. Moving of its own accord, the chair brought Despair up to the table as Koyomi continued to snack on his imaginary feast. "Now, this is the situation you believe is happening. You think that you are invading my mind in order to escape from Anubis' ritual, but in reality, you really should have picked someone else. The truth is, I am forcibly dragging you out of Anubis' mind and into mine. Wanna know the difference between the two scenarios I mentioned?" Koyomi smirked darkly, his eyes pulsing in a dark and blood-like colour. "If I allow you into my mind, it's only because that's exactly where I want you to be." Koyomi clicked his fingers and giant concrete pillars began to rain down from the sky, trapping the two in a now dark and confined space. "You see, I have this power because out of the two of us, it would seem that my mind is the dominant one." Whipping his mouth with a napkin, Koyomi got to his feet and clicked his fingers once again. This time however, Despair's arms were bound by chains, tying him to the wall as Koyomi now appeared wearing a surgeon's outfit. With an evil chuckle and a pleasure filled grin, Koyomi picked up a large saw blade, rubbing it against the demon's neck. "Welcome to the torture room! Now, tell me everything you know about the last Nephilim or I'll make sure that your very soul is so crippled that it won't even be able to drag itself back to hell."
