Chapter Fifteen: Song of Heart After nearly a day of sleeping, Roxy finally woke up. She felt a bit dizzy duo to the drug. As she got up, Whirl now in a hawk form flew to her. The moment he rubbed his head beside her hand, Dimi woke up. He seemed to be happy, she was awake and fine. “How do you feel?” Dimi asked. “Terrible… but thanks for ask.” “You’re welcome. You slept like a dead person.” “How funny.” she pulled a face. Blonde slowly stood up, checking her look. Bright white shirt and shorts were the only thing that she and Dimi wore. Along with four steel rings, those were the things that she most hated about scientists. Forcing them to stay in closed rooms, isolated from living world already had left a mark in Dimi. He suffered from white blindness, injury caused by staring in white walls. His eyes seemed so empty and lifeless now. But he still showed signs of still living. When Roxy was about to check her hair, she nearly screamed. “What? What is it?” Dimi nearly panicked from her reaction. “My hair… is… is…” “What?” “Look at it!!! It looks like a nest!!!!” Side effect of having electricity as inner power was… well some kind of changes in different parts of body. Roxy’s electric powers were created in her hair and that was also the reason why she always tied them in two pony tails. Untied hair soon became very spiky and electric. “So, you’re saying… that we’re both captured…unable to escape… with chances of being tortured… and you complain about your hair?” “Oh, just give me my bands. I look like a cat that was thrown in washing machine and in deep freezer at once!” “Alright, just calm down. Here are your two blue bangs. They almost took it from your hand.” “Thanks Dimi, I really don’t know what I would do if those jerks took my only thing from me. Those blue bangs were the last thing that I got from my mum.” Brunette stayed silent from some time, but soon began talk. “Does escaping plan still agree?” “I don’t know. That room is much more different from usual ones. Plus I can’t heck into machines like lock doors and cameras without my cell phone. I would need some sort of conductor for that.” “Don’t forget about theses.” Dimi showed on steel rings. “Right… for those some sort of acid… and gee I don’t know… Everything makes my head fuzzy!” After her last sentence she fell back on the metal bed. She began making her usual two pony tails from each side of her head. Brunette sat back on the bed, thinking about his brother again. Was he really four months outside, looking for him? Blonde broke his thinking with falling asleep again. “Guess you’ll tell the rest of the plan tomorrow…” he said as he fell asleep as well. But he didn’t sleep long. In the middle of his sleep something started glowing really strong. “Turn off the night light! I wanna sleep…” Dimi mumbled. But it wasn’t the night light that was glowing. Thing like that wasn’t even were in a place like that. The source of the light was no other then Roxy’s hair. “Eh… Rox I think you better wake up.” “Ten more minutes Os…” “Hey wake up!” Dimi nearly slapped her. “What is it?” she mumbled with sleepy eyes. “I think you better take a look on your hair again….” “Is it all spiky again?” “No… it glows. Maybe your twin brother is trying to reach you.” “I don’t know…” she closed her eyes trying to move further her mind “It’s not him… it’s somebody else.” “Who? I don’t remember anybody beside you and Os using Spirit Connection.” “Neither do I…” for a moment she returned back into her mind, travelling through water until she saw familiar face staring straight at her “Wait… it’s coming from… Alex?” “You mean that red haired Rookie? The same one, that was in the same room as I was?” “Yeah… Alex… I hope he managed to become an Ial… Speaking of which, I wonder what kind of inner power he received.” She kept forcing herself to come in touch with his mind. Light became more and more shiny, showing her the right way. Suddenly it started running away. Roxy tried even more to follow it until everything became blank. She heard voices. You wanna have her right next to you all the time… I admit it, I fell in love with her the first time I saw her… One voice was definitely Alex’s, but she didn’t recognize the other one that was very similar to Alex’s. Could it be his Spirit Mate? Voices were distancing away, but she didn’t want them to. She wanted to come in touch with them. Suddenly she started talk in a different tone. Roxy was singing. The time is passing by… when I hope to see you again. Tone of her melody traveled through crystal clear place, reaching the right person. Alex now stared in a reflection of lake, seeing it in a shape of Roxy. Besides drawing there was also one other thing that he loved, but never show it. That simple one thing was singing. Just like when he was little, he took a breath and said the sentence in the same melody. When I look… in the sky… I’m trying to reach your mind. Suddenly the whole place transformed, changing in a simple place that was simply there. Roxy stared in a foggy image of Alex as he stared in a foggy image of her. They both wanted to tell so much about everything when they realized that neither of them have much time. Their song wasn’t over yet. Even though we just met I know what you meant Alex remembered his death. How he was riding his bike when that van crushed in him… How he lay in hospital for several weeks. My heart was lost, But then your touch, It brought it back in reality Roxy remembered her watching over him in hospital. She saw him several times awake, but was always too shy to speak with him. The first thing I saw Was a silent boy The boy who was hiding his talent in the pictures Each of them remembered the first face – to – face moment. The moment their eyes firstly met. But now All I see Is that we’re both meant to be Blonde partly turned away, to whisper the part when she couldn’t tell her feelings. I wish I could have told you that But I was a way too shy But red haired held her hand to tell him that was the same with him. Neither did I Cuz I couldn’t see the light They realized their feelings which were the same. She – captured, he – on the way of saving her. The last very big one was in the broom room, when their touch created connection between them. This feeling is The one we can’t explain It just coming Like a lighting in the storm Melody was on the edge of their voices, trying to become even stronger. But instead of that melody became calmer, nicer. It almost sounded like a lullaby. The day we met… Roxy remembered once again how she was standing against that door, preparing to knock. It felt so great…. Alex once again saw golden hawk through his window. But it’s so different now That I can’t explain how I couldn’t say it then So I’ll say it now The thing I wanted to say to you… Is that… I love you… Last sentence was said gently, from the deepest bottom of their hearts. Sentence was true, like their words in song were. Roxy raised her hand, trying to reach Alex, but she couldn’t do it. Between her and him was some kind of glass shield, preventing both of them of them to touch each other. Alex still started in reflection that was slowly disappearing. He tried to grab it with his hand, but reflection disappeared even faster. Girl got a feeling somebody is pulling her away from him. She tried to resist which made her be pulled away even faster. “Roxy! Roxy! Answer me!” voice called. She was back in the abby, with Dimi who called her. Whirl in wolf form confusedly looked in her eyes. “What the heck were you doing?” he asked. “Nothing… guess it was all in my head. What was I doing?” “You just stared like a crazy person and your hair was glowing like hell!” “So it was Spirit Connection! It wasn’t a dream!” “You sure connected with someone…” He was about to say something more when someone broke the silence with roughly opening the door. There were four scientists with one staring on hand computer. “Case B1 and A3! You’re going to be relocated into different cell. Do not struggle or do anything to escape!” one of the scientists superiorly said. Steel rings on Dimi’s and Roxy’s wrists stuck together. Two men roughly picked them when one of them used some kind of lead to take Whirl. Dimi’s Spirit Mate seemed angry so much that he nearly bit scientist’s hand. But he knew that if he would struggle Dimi would get hurt too. Whirl so just followed like obedient puppy. Teens were dragged through bright wild corridor. Their feet were freezing duo to cold floor and their naked feet. After some time of walking, they released Dimi and Whirl into an open cell. They didn’t release Roxy. Instead of that, new scientist came. “Well well if it isn’t that an A3 case. I remember you at different name.” female scientist said. “Zip it Lam!” Roxy said back. “Did you say anything, you little brat?” Lam grabbed girl’s neck. “Does this look familiar?” Lam rolled up shirt’s sleeve, to reveal scar caused by Roxy’s bolt arrow. “Scar suits well with an old lady like you.” girl smiled. “Why you little!” woman enraged and strongly threw girl on the floor. “We’ll see how talkative you’ll be after doing experiments on you. I registered myself for your case. Now if you’ll…” she was about to hit her again when a man holding a hand computer came. “Don’t treat subject like that! It can influence on our research!” “Fine, but if she’ll open that wretched mouth of hers again, I swear she’ll end up like C9 case.” Woman angrily left the corridor when man roughly picked Roxy. “Now if you’ll move, you’re wanted in lab number five. Move it.” Man was at least nicer than Lam was. She dragged blonde to another lab that seemed more like a computer room. For a tiny moment girl thought she could escape using hacking computers. “Don’t even think of using your ability to hack our machines. We protected it with over twenty antivirus programs and extremely strong firewall.” Two other men dragged her towards the table awfully similar to surgery one. Steel rings on wrist unstuck when rings on ankles got stuck on the table. Then man with hand computer came along with another scientist. Girl started trembling when she realized which one was it. It was the one who injected her and almost got Alex, Eztli. “So how can A3 case can be even more special?” he asked as he examined her. “You see here, with that gadget I can measure their ISLE or should I say Inner Spirit Life Energy.” man showed on hand computer. “But her ISLE mysteriously increased during last hour plus her hair was glowing.” “Oh I see, but can we continue tomorrow. Some of the C and D cases can really tire you.” “By the way how many C cases do we have left?” “I don’t know exactly three or four.” “Never mind that. If you’re unable to do this now, then just take some blood and other samples.” “Right, I hate that work.” Eztli took some injects and sharp things to take her samples. She stayed calm, because she knew that if she struggles it will hurt even more. Taking blood samples wasn’t very painful neither when Eztli pulled bunch of her hair. The most painful moment was when a part of her skin was taken. But she still remained calm. When she was taken back into cell, they even didn’t bandage her wound. One of the scientists even complained that she will dirty his lab coat with her own blood. All scientists didn’t waste their time with curing wounds and injuries. They believed Ials can easily heal themselves. Roxy was back in new cell room. It was the same one where Dimi was pushed, but he didn’t seem to be seen. Blonde slowly opened the door to a corridor. That part of an abby had several cells in same corridor. All cells were opened during the day and got locked during the night. She slowly went to check if Dimi is somewhere in those cells. After almost an hour of checking she finally found him in the last cell. He was looking under the bed as Whirl growled in a wolf form. “Dimi? What are you doing?” “Roxy! Are you alright? O god you’re bleeding!” he quickly ripped one of the sheets to stop her bleeding. “This and that, but don’t worry. This is a scratch of what they usually do. Say… why are you looking under the bed.” “Oh Whirl smelled something. It’s definitely a living creature, but has a strange smell.” “Let me see.” She electrocuted her hair a bit just for them to glow. Light of her hair revealed small figure, shivering against the wall. Figure was scared when Roxy’s hair shine of her. “Who’s there?” Dimi asked. “I think it’s a child…” she stretch her hand “Don’t worry we won’t hurt you. Come here.” “No, go away! I don’t want this!” child shouted with pitched voice. “We won’t do anything to you. We are not they.” Dimi said gently. “Really, we just want to be your friends.” Roxy helped. After Roxy’s last gently word, child carefully left its hideout. It didn’t seem more than eight years old. In fact child was a girl with very dark brown hair, tied in tiny pony tails. Her eyes were in a bit lighter brown color, but they showed some signs of white blindness. Little girl was dressed in a same boring white shirt and shorts. But she didn’t have any steel rings on her ankles or wrists, only some kind of paper bracelet. “Well you finally came out. I’m Roxana, but you can call me Roxy. That’s my friend Dimi.” “Hiya little one. Are you alright.” Dimi said nicely. “Are you captured too?” girl asked. “Unfortunately yes, but now we at least know we have some company.” “Do you have a name?” “Yeah it’s C13.” “No, not your number, your real name.” “I can’t say it… they will punish me because of that.” “Come one you can tell it to us.” “Ok… it’s Alicia.” PS: Song is completly written by me. Phew kinda long time since I updated anything, huh? I admid it - school is getting hard. Kinda sadly I needed an injury to have some "vacation" and write some new chapters. Okay story continue and this week it might continue a bit faster . Enjoy. Chapter Fourteen: Game With Circle As Alex shared his dreams with Blaze’s, some other was trying to be shared as well. It penetrated like a light through the tunnel, making him turning away. But as soon as he turned to it, dream revealed itself to it. It was Spark’s dream that penetrated into his. Golden hawk just floated there in slumber. Alex imaginarily touched it, when she twitched with entire body. Boy had no idea how she got in his dreams, beside Blaze of course. Nikki said that Ials can’t communicate with other spirit mates beside their own. Leo was exception duo to his telepathy. But what can inner power of light do? Without a second thought he placed his hand on Spark’s head. Blaze was meanwhile watching him with an interest. Touch with a hand, made Spark open her eyes. “What… what are you doing here?” she asked, much to his surprise. “I could ask you the same thing.” “This isn’t Roxy’s… where she is… what are you…” hawk panicked. “Calm down, I think you’re in my dream… ‘cept I don’t know why…” Alex said. “It’s anima abso.” Blaze said. “You’re using it in your sleep as the power of your light.” Suddenly Alex’s hair started glowing as well as Spark’s feathers shine. “It is… so you became an Ial and… is this your spirit mate?” Spark asked while looking at Blaze. “I’m Blaze… but let’s jump on the other thing to talk.” “Like what?” Alex asked confusedly. “You just have discovered that you can use anima abso! Isn’t that weird? Only twins are capable of using it.” Blaze nearly yelled. “That must be from inner power of light... light is a key of connection.” Spark said. As red and golden hawk talked, boy again looked at the place around it. There were no words that could describe it. He was simply in that place… Then he opened his eyes. He was back in the tree house, lying on lower part of the bunk bed. From quiet breathing, he guessed that Nikki and Os haven’t got up yet. While putting his shoes on, two yellow eyes stared at him. “Don’t ask. Dream was real.” wolf muttered. “You really think so?” boy asked when he saw another pair of yellow eyes. Spark woke up and now staring at him like a cat on mouse. She twitched as Blaze gave her exact look. “Why she doesn’t say anything?” Alex asked. “She does, but you can’t hear her. She’s still a bit confused from the dream.” Red haired stepped closer, patting her head. Spark surprisingly looked in his eyes. Soon she let him patting her. Golden wolf knew it was him who rescued her on that day. With connected dream of mystery, her head was filled with hope. He’ll rescue Roxy, she just knew that. Blaze meanwhile, looked around the room. It appeared only Nikki was still sleeping. Os has already got up. Without a second thought Alex left the tree house while Spark and Blaze followed. He soon reached the rocks that Os has sat on yesterday. Blonde was swimming in the lake while playing with his own spirit mate. Alex couldn’t deny it. Lake’s water seemed crystal clear, almost calling him to jump in. And so he did. When he got his new clothes, he also got special – looking underwear. After reading a note beside it, he found out that underwear can also be a swimsuit. His clothes were soon on the floor and he was ready for a jump in the lake. With a sudden splash in the lake, he completely freaked out the blonde haired boy. “Hey! How about some privacy! That’s my spot.” Os shouted. “Sorry, it’s just looked so great!” Blonde was about to say something when golden wolf jumped directly into his lap. She nestled up close to his body as he patted her fur. Os felt like having his sister in his arms, but shape of the Spark’s body sooner or later convinced him that shiny golden fur isn’t Roxy’s hair. With those thoughts a teardrop slipped down to his cheek. Spark licked it away which tickled him a bit. “I need to tell you something.” she whispered, using connection with Hydro. “What is it?” Hydro asked instead of Os. “That new Rookie, who’s an Ial now… can also use anima abso. “ “Is that special ability of light?” Os asked with his mind. “It must be, there’s no other explanation.” Hydro muttered. While those three had a conversation, red haired watched with an interest. Each time they talked, their hair or fur started to glow. Just like an old radio when it’s sending the signal. Then he realized that he’s still in the water. Alex swam towards the centre of lake, making Os following him. Together they swam to the giant waterfall where water was slowly falling on their shoulders. “Why did you take a swim so early in the morning?” Alex broke the silence. “I didn’t sleep well… so I kinda wanted to keep myself busy…” “With going swimming in the middle of the night?” “It was nearly morning when I jumped in. Water always calms me down, showing me flashbacks.” “What kind?” “Me, Roxy, Nikki also Dimi and Leo usually came here to play. Water is connection between our inner powers. Just like I can meddle with water, Roxy’s electricity conducts water when Nikki’s mists are born from water.” “What about Dimi and Leo? How are their powers connected to water?” “Well they’ll say that every storm begins at the seas. That explains wind. As for telepathy… I’m not sure. Leo said once that when he’s using his power in water, he feels it much clearly.” “Wow, you sure are close all of you.” “Yeah we were… but now only Nikki is left. Leo is obsessed with saving his brother and Roxy… she’s gone too now.” Os said as he began to cry. Now Os wasn’t afraid of showing his emotions. His tears even more wetted his drenched chest. Alex didn’t know what to say to a boy whose twin sister was captured just because of him. He slowly put his hand on Os’s shoulder. “Say… why are you so close to her? I understand brother’s love, but it feels there’s something more.” Blonde rubbed his tears as he looked more deeply on red haired. He tried to smile when he began to talk. “We both have just reached four years… when our mum was killed in a car accident. Since that day I had a feeling like everyone is leaving me. Three years later dad left too. Right in front of her, he hanged himself even thought she screamed not to. After that day I wanted to protect her at any cost. Neither of our parents was capable of that. Only I and Nikki were…” “I kinda know how that feels…” “Did you have a brother or a sister?” “No, but I had a very good friend. I met him in elementary school plus he was four years younger. We usually hanged up together… but some bullies kept interfering. After I entered high school I have never seen him again. Only once… in newspaper… when it was written that his mother killed herself with a kitchen knife… right in front of him.” “What’s this world coming to.” blonde sighed. “I think we better go back or Nikki will yell at me again. Since we started living on our own, she completely replaced mum.” When they got back on the shore, both boys were surprised. “Weird… didn’t I leave my clothes here?” red haired asked. “So did I… but where are it?” Suddenly pair of black pants started floating around as well as green jacket and white sleeveless jacket. Clothes were floating in the air like invisible person was wearing them. Os frighteningly hid behind Alex when someone started laughing. Cloths went flying through the air and landed right in front of their feet. Raven haired girl smilingly appeared. “Got you!” she smiled. “Sis... you scared a shit out of me!!!” Os nearly shouted. “Good joke, but you didn’t scare me.” Alex mumbled. “Just wanted to call you to come on breakfast.” When Nikki left, boys put their clothes on. Os seemed embarrassed duo to her joke. “Does she always scare you like that?” Alex asked. “Not quite, bet she only wanted to be funny.” Os muttered while putting his blue scar on. “Say… why do you wear that scar? Isn’t it a bit too hot for that?” “I know… but that’s the only thing left from my mum…” “Oh… sorry… I didn’t mean…” “Let’s just go on that breakfast. Can’t wait for waffles.” blonde muttered while running towards the tree house. “Wait waffles? Save something for me!!!” Alex ran after him. “Too late.” Os smiled. Tree house in which Nikki and Os lived had three rooms. Room meant for sleeping with two bunk beds and many closets, small bathroom and huge place meant to be living room, kitchen and dining room at once. Boy sited around small table while raven haired was still bringing things to eat. Blonde immediately took some waffles and spilled it with almost the whole bottle of chocolate syrup. Alex tried some of it too, but instead of chocolate syrup he put some marmalade on. It seemed to be made from some sort of very sweet berries. “Where do you get all those stuff? And how is everything working without electricity?” red haired asked confusedly. “Electricity is here. Right behind that giant mountain over here, are many storm clouds. One single lighting makes electricity capable of lighting over million light bulbs. Lighting Catchers intercept every lighting and send its energy here.” Nikki started talking.“As for the stuff… mostly things are from here. But some things are from real world as well.” “How is that world built anyway? All this deal with worlds and dimensions is making my head spin.” “I can show you on very simple way.” blonde smiled as he ran towards big computer screen. “Austen created some good files on my HPC. Just let me find it.” High Personal Computer or just HPC soon got turned on itself. Os began clicking on different places until one big picture of planet Earth appeared. “That’s planet Earth as you know it from usual textbooks. And here’s… “ he pulled smaller picture from it “… second dimension known as Realm of Spirits. To open portals from one dimension to another is very difficult, because you practically need to break a force line.” “Wow, you’re a good speaker.” “Don’t believe him. He’s just reading tiny text.” Nikki smiled. “Sis! That text was written by me!” “Alright, alright continue.” “Beside Realm of Spirits, there are also two more dimensions. One is called Hollow Ground and other is called Disortian. Nai said once that Hollow Ground is a place where humans go after their death. There all wills join together and go back on earth when someone is born. As for Disortian… we don’t know how it looks like. We just know it exists.” “So how exactly did we end up here?” Alex asked. Os shrugged with shoulders as Nikki shook with her head. “Those questions are better to be questioned to Naiser. They’re beyond our understanding.” Nikki muttered “Which reminds me. I talked with Nai this morning, about Roxy.” “What he said about? Will we go save her?” Os shouted laud. “Easy bro. After I asked him about that, he said that we really need to finally put together some sort of plan and stop Men in Gray. Leo had already started that operation four months ago. But he’s on his own, practically unable to do anything big. I think we should meet up with him and do this.” “So, what are we waiting for? Let’s go already.” Os nearly ran to get his bag. “Wait! He said that we firstly need to teach Alex to use his powers. After all we can’t just leave him.” “But…” “No buts. You know the ways in Realm of Spirts.” “This sucks! It doesn’t going anywhere!” blonde hit the table. The whole time blonde talked Alex looked down. It was his fault again, for taking precious time from brother who desperately wanted to save his sister. Red haired went outside on balcony. “What’s eating you?” Blaze now in a hawk form asked. “You perfectly saw it! I’m just getting in their way!” “I know, but that’s not what is truly eating you. It’s Roxy.” “How do you…” “I’m you, so I know. You’re not angry on yourself because of your uselessness, but because you made a strong connection with her. You wanna have her right next to you all the time.” Boy stayed quiet when golden hawk flew from the room. Spark landed on his shoulder just like that time when he first met her. “I admit it, I fell in love with her the first time I saw her. When I lay in hospital bed duo to my death, Roxy truly opened my eyes. She saved me so many times and kept doing so. But when I tried to save her… I couldn’t do it.” “Don’t be silly, you saved me… which is the most important thing. I could be locked up in that lab, but thanks to you I’m not.” Spark muttered under his breath. “See, you’re capable of saving.” Blaze nodded. “You just need to work of improving it.” Alex nodded as raven haired came with black hawk on. She seemed to have something to tell. “For before… don’t feel sad about it. I didn’t tell the rest of the plan. Nai also said that he senses weird Life Force somewhere on Earth. We should examine it and take you with us. There’s no better way of learning your powers than use it on mission.” “So I’ll join you on mission?” “Yeah dummy and after it, well join together a group of some of our friends and go stop the men in gray. Os is already talking with Gabry and Ami.” “Are those your friends? And what about Leo?” “Those two escaped once and they might know weaknesses of abbies. I say for secret ending. I really cried in the end when Aqua is talking to Ansem the Wise. It's also becuase of the saddest version of Dearly Beloved. When I firstly watched it, I somehow knew that after AtW says "His name is..." other characters connected to him will appear. Namine in her room drawing... All three organization's members who are special... Ven who's peacfully sleeping really made me cry... And then Aqua how her tears slipped down to her cheeks... :'( that was so sad.... And then Sora who tells Kairi that he has to go... Secret Episode really is sad....

Wow it's really nice! I only advise you to take a bit deeper look on your drawing and see if there are any details to work on a bit. I usually do that when I'm done with my drawing - look deeply if there are any mistakes and see if I can change anything's design. Well that's what I can say Btw you did an awsome redrawing!
