  1. There are some good songs in there but I think it really depends on what the video is about and which characters are involved... you know? Could you tell us, kind of, what 'sort' of video you're making?
  2. I loved this so much I downloaded it with keepvid months ago. I sped it up with one of my editing programs. o3o Maybe one day I'll actually include it in an AMV or something.
  3. I personally use the top bar rather than the bar on the left to find where I'm going. *shrug* I would look at people's status updates more often if they weren't so far down on the page. Then again, I think where they are is an okay spot. They're fun to look at... when people want to. I just don't always go down there every time I visit. It's nice knowing what's going on with other members and having the ability to comment and get to know them better. ^^
  4. Wow. Really? These people need to use the internet more. (Kind of the reverse of 'you need to get out more'.) I agree that it wasn't showing great sportsmanship, but, definitely not racist.
  5. How about The World Ends With You? ...but my true vote is none.
  6. I love that song! Great job with the effects. It's been a while since I've seen any RokuNami around so that was a welcome find.
  7. Fix it immediately. Whatever you do don't actually sit down in a different class you're not supposed to be because by that point they'll convince you they cannot, will not change it. And that's how I ended up in a math class that was way higher than my level because they thought that's where they should be put me. I spent every morning coming in before school to get help and I still only passed with a C, while I had A's in everything else. That was a first for me and it was horrible. I shouldn't have been in that class. (That's what I get for switching schools and them not understanding what level I was at before even after I talked to them.) It went a little something like this: somethingsomething theorem is what you'll be using to--- what's a theorem? o_o Ohgod, triangles? Whut? I'm so lost! This was me jumping from pre-Algebra to Algebra 2 with some kind of random geometry inserted into both. (The real problem was that at my old school, the math teacher sadly passed away at the beginning of the year, leaving us all a bit behind because it was a tiny school in the middle of nowhere and we couldn't just find a replacement. When I should have been learning Algebra 1, classes for that year in math were simply cancelled. I switched schools and they kindly just shoved me where they thought I belonged for my age and grade level.)
  8. That's good. I had a self-project I was testing out just to learn how to do something similar and I got about as far as the dressable avatars and then completely failed when it came to handling individual inventories and shop purchases. It was still enough for everyone to wear the same stuff, though. But that's what I get for using the old nulavatar system as a base. " It was only after that I went and grabbed myself a PHP manual, but by that point, my project had been on hiatus for a month and my free hosted forgot to tell me in their fine print they erase a site if you don't log in for 30 days. I've been too lazy to reload my backup copy. Art is wayyyyyy more my thing, or as they say 'One who does many things ends up doing none of them well?' My art has always been my pride and joy. Just let me know what I can do.
  9. I'd totally be interested in helping from an artistic slant, but my PHP (as that sort of thing would be necessary) skills are lacking, despite having bought a thick manual last year.
  10. You trollin'? Tell that to Square Enix. *laugh* The game director directs a movie, and the technology developed to render the cg environment originally developed for use in games used as a movie? What is the world coming to? It's coming to Sephiroth ramming his sword through Cloud in cg glory never before known to man, that's what. Oh wait, that happened. And that wasn't even the first time Square Enix's game developers made a movie. Remove the game play from most Square Enix games and you're already left with a movie. One long interactive movie. That's kind of how Dirge of Cerberus entirely played out. Toward the irony that this topic just had a poll made for another thread so it could be on the front page: The answer is not no, it's yes, if they do it right. It's hard for us to imagine Disney characters in fully polished CG, remembering only the KH2 ending but forgetting how epic Donald was in the opening, zapping those Heartless, or how much like a BAMF Mickey looked like in the secret ending. They are perfectly capable of making even Disney characters acceptable. Relax.
  11. Haha. Great stuff. You know, considering the original liked to drag things out like 9 episodes for every five minutes of time that actually passed... I honestly love the abridging work. Same amount of random funny things, some fighting, less random scenery, and by the time they'd be done powering up in the original, an abridged episode is already over. Perfection. (Not that I don't love and respect the original. Loved it the first time I saw it on tv as a kid, and I love the boxsets I've been grabbing whenever I get the chance.)
  12. =3 Hello! Enjoy your stay here. Things should be exciting come mid-September when more information surfaces about the newest unreleased Kingdom Hearts game (it's being featured at Tokyo Game Show, possibly even with a demo for people there to test out!), so be sure to come back to look for information.
  13. Poor bugger ended up the way he is, not just because he's made all of the darkness of Ven's heart, but also because MX is-- well okay, he's a bastard, there's just no lighter way of putting it. I'd like to see Vanitas stand up to him and go, "Umm. No. I think I want to go help the good guys now, at least they aren't abusive. Ciao."
  14. I do believe that the crux of the series falls on Mickey. Without Mickey, Donald and Goofy wouldn't have looked for and aided Sora. Without Mickey, Riku would have never been freed of Xehanort's Heartless. Without Mickey, the bad guys win. And yet, without Mickey, absolutely nothing changes - Terra, Ven and Aqua still fall to their fates. Maybe with a few different detours with Ventus to skip around Mickey's non-presence, but inevitably, the same outcome.
  15. No, generally speaking, you do not need the GBA CoM if you have the PS2 re:CoM as it is the same game with better graphics. If, however, you are stuck in any other country besides Japan and the U.S. where re:CoM was not released and you don't have a modded PS2 to play a disk from another region: Yeah, you should consider playing the old GBA version.
  16. Yes. Just so much yes. I hope so, too. And they can be evil with all the intensity of a religious nutcase who thinks only their way is right, even though they are light.
  17. D: Who is that one person? Why are they here? *rocks back and forth*
  18. Considering it was Cinderella's castle, ala 'The Castle of Dreams'. I'm sure she was simply freaked out that someplace she had visited had fallen into the Dark Realm. =/ Otherwise, I'm not quite sure I followed anything you've said and that might just be because you're missing some punctuation and its a giant run on sentence to me. As for Mickey in the Dark Realm to look for Aqua: While its a great thought, how exactly would he know to look there? No one knows that's where she is. No one. She kind of left without telling anyone where she was going.
  19. Even if we don't get a leaked trailer I hope that means they'll throw in an update to the site within a month or two. (To anyone not knowing what I'm referring to: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/kingdom/3d/ )
  20. Aqua's basic cartwheel provides some immunity to damage? Just keep moving/'dodgeroll' cartwheeling where you want to go. It helps a bit.
  21. Unless you're taking notes to write fanfiction on it. Then its still fun.
  22. Now if only I had a Wii. But I do have a DS. Sounds awesome! /long time Kirby fan
  23. Demented! But generally, I like it. I like the idea of a shifted reality. You definitely have a way with words - it paints and it sings. I'll repeat again, its on the demented side, but that's probably why I like it.
  24. What if he saw her as, say, himself? Repliku~ (I don't believe it, just a thought.)
  25. Yes - I want to watch exclusively Japanese cutscenes (those that aren't in English, eg, Final Mixes) with English subtitles. Yes - I want to watch Japanese cutscenes with English subtitles. Because I can appreciate watching scenes the way they were originally intended and in their native language. I really like some of the original Japanese voice actors. Without subtitles I wouldn't understand over half of it, despite the fact I know the game by heart. All the rest - no. I am completely uninterested in downloading any scenes with English subtitles. I would not download both English and Japanese versions of the same scene unless there was substantial reason to, anyway. I don't need English subtitles for a language I actually speak because I am not foreign and I am not seven years old. That doesn't mean other people don't. However, if they really require subtitles to understand a scene perhaps they should invest money in actually buying the game in a language they do comprehend. We are not downloading scenes here simply because it gets us out of buying the game: We are downloading scenes because we already own the game and lack the means of extracting the video ourselves. You do us a great service.
