That's great news. Final Fantasy IX is one of, if not the best Final Fantasy games out there. When it hits Steam worldwide I'll buy it day one.

Hey everyone I've finally had a chance to jump into Mira! Now I've only played one short 4 hour burst of the game today and I'm onto Chapter 3, but so far so good. Really enjoying the combat and the world is pretty damn nice to look at. No major gripes thus far as I haven't spent a huge amount of time with the game. I can't wait to enjoy more of this game over the coming weeks that's for sure!

I don't think so. Not because it was a rip off or anything, but because it was an average game and an even worse fighting game. I have it on Vita and it got old pretty quickly. A sequel would have to drastically change the core fighting mechanic of "spam buttons until you power up" and it would have to have a decent roster of characters before I'd even care for a sequel. I'd like to not see another PS All Stars, but hey if I don't like it I can just not buy it.

Star Wars, Inside Out, Big Hero 6, The Good Dinosaur and Kingsmen. I only went to the cinema a handful of times this year, but those 5 were the ones I enjoyed the most. If I had to pick a favourite of those then Star Wars takes the edge probably because it is fresh in my mind.

I have never played the game before, is it much different from the Paper Mario and/or Mario & Luigi series? I liked Paper Mario on Gamecube, but never found myself very good at the Mario & Luigi games and I know both of these series pretty much spawned from Super Mario RPG. Just curious is all

Well said. I completely agree. The amount of salt from the community is ridiculous. Admittedly, I was one of the few that did not want K.Rool, Shovel Knight or Wolf to make a return. Even before the presentation started I was saying to one of my friends "you know what if Sakurai just pulls someone completely out of nowhere and surprises us all?" Then boom they open with Corrin. He looks really great and I can't wait to try him out. I know Corrin is yet another Fire Emblem character, but as a Marth player I'm always that little bit anxious when a new Smash game comes out that he won't be added in (mostly because the vocal part of the Smash community love Roy or Ike). Corrin looks great and plays so differently from Marth, Ike or Robin. It's such a shame that people are complaining that he'll be the 6th Fire Emblem character. Fire Emblem owes a lot of its success to Smash Bros and it pleases me to know that Sakurai is a fan of the series because it means I get to enjoy playing as these characters. On the note that Smash "fans" feel they need to have their say, did they all forget that Mewtwo, Roy and Lucas were added because of the complaining they did? We got 7 DLC characters and 4 of which were because of the fans, actually 5 if you count Cloud based on Sakurai's words. I was disappointed that Isaac didn't get put in mostly because I really wanted him, am I going to complain about Corrin and Bayonetta? Hell no. I've never played Bayonetta outside of the demo for 2, but my girlfriend was so happy when Bayonetta was revealed that I was happy for her. She gets to play as a character she really likes in a game like Smash and that is brilliant. The roster is so diverse that there is something for everyone, personally I play as Marth, Shulk, Jigglypuff and Ness, all of which are very different from each other. That is the beauty of Smash, we get this glorious line-up of characters and just have fun. Sakurai and his team delivered an amazing game and for that I'm really happy. How can anyone be salty when you can have a match-up like this in one game: Mario vs Sonic vs Mega Man vs Pac Man vs Cloud vs Link vs Ryu vs Bayonetta. That's the stuff of dreams for a lot of people.

I'm not salty. I didn't expect Sora to be added so his lack of inclusion doesn't faze me. I know this is a Kingdom Hearts site, but the push for Sora was pretty stupid. The roster is full of great characters and there are so many more great characters that could be included over him. I can't see him being included in future instalments either. No one expected Corrin, and Bayonetta was asked for by a lot of people. In many ways, I am glad that K. Rool, Shovel Knight and Wolf didn't get put in more than being salty over the lack of Sora.

Thank you. Honestly, I kinda laughed when I saw the trailer start off with Fates. I was expecting that blue haired girl (Aqua?). Corrin looks really cool and much like Robin is actually fairly unique looking. I'm sad there was no Isaac. Not even as a Mii outfit :l

Corrin is far from a clone. Roy and Lucina are the only clones from the Fire Emblem series in Smash.

If Sora was added I would not complain, but I don't really care at all for Zero so the dude can do whatever he wants. He's a competitive Smash player who became popular when he won the Smash Invitational thing last year around E3. I remember the crowd booed him when he was deliberately jumping around to time waste if he found himself in a tight spot. So really he's nobody important.

I think one of the great things about the Zelda series is how visually different each entry is from one another. I do agree with you on the point that people were a little obsessive when it came to Twilight Princess' visuals, but it only came about because the "hardcore" audience bitched about Wind Waker. Much like the visual argument the same can be said for the gameplay, story or even characters, they are all completely opinion based. Each entry in the Zelda series has its pros and cons. For every person who hates the graphics in Wind Waker there's probably someone who thinks Zelda II was actually good. For every person who adores Midna there's easily someone blinded by nostalgia who finds Ocarina of Time to be the best in the series. The matter of the fact is that there is rarely a bad mainline Zelda game and I think Zelda fans are really lucky in that regard. Sure something can not be to your tastes, but there is no universally accepted main game in the series that is panned beyond belief. If you dislike Twilight Princess then that is perfectly fine. Much like if someone loves the visual aspect to the game, there is no reason to not want more of it. Many were butthurt over Zelda Wii U not having the visuals of that tech demo a few years ago and it seems like history will repeat itself in the same vein as Wind Waker. Which if that is the case, then man the new Zelda game will be a delight for the fans!

This is the first time I'm hearing that it is overrated. Maybe people are suddenly saying it because there is a HD remaster around the corner and they don't see why it is getting special treatment. I dunno. I never played Twilight Princess all the way through, but I know a few people who do like it and it seems that it is quite underrated if anything.

Isaac for Smash. The only veteran I'd welcome back is Ice Climbers and thanks to the 3DS version we know that isn't going to happen. Shame really.

I don't believe it will. I know there is nothing stopping them from announcing it now and releasing it next week, but I think the game will come out early next year. I hope SE prove me wrong.

>Zero handheld titles were nominated. Last I checked Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was on the 3DS. Also, some stupid Game Awards category doesn't equal proof that handheld gaming is dying. That is idiotic to think such a thing. Mobile games and Handheld games should have been separated. They weren't so naturally the category comes across as an afterthought. I'm not trying to knock Lara Croft GO, I haven't played the game, but once again Sora96 you are really showing your Square Enix fanboyism as per usual.

Of that list I only bought Type-0 HD and Xenoblade 3D. Journey was free thanks to cross-buy. I'm gonna give my vote to Xenoblade 3D.

I have the space, but if I can avoid downloading 10-15GBs then that'd be good. Not that my ISP will mind, it'll just take a while.
