While you are allowed your opinion and I respect that you didnt like it, I dissagree with you entierly, every FF on a new system starts off in a different direction then its predassesor. I have come to find that most who dislike the combat system was becuase they were unable to grasp it and use it enjoyingly. I completely disagree with your character analysis. Lightning is not Cloud or Squall, the reason being is she doesn't whine half as much as Cloud does, nor is she as Emo as Squall was, and she would Kick both of there asses without breaking a sweat. 10x's the soldier either of them were. While Snow is anoying, with his ego and positive out look on everything, his character was ment to contradict that of Lightnings more serious and realistic demenor, which was very successfull. Whil I was never particularly fond of Sazh, he did not have the confidence and strenth and courage that Baret had. He was a man with a goal but unsure how to enact it and even more so he teneded to run from it. Hope was meant to live up to his name. A teenage boy thrown into a situation that I am sure that you at his age would not have been able to remove yourself from the corner in the fetal position wetting your pants and crying for your mommy. Think of what you would do were you thrown into a rebelion and you watched your mother fall to her death.... Fang was just ment to be the bitch itching for a fight. And she fulfilled that there really wasnt any other side to her. Vanille while I agree was also very anoying, was probably more indepth than you realize. She was the typical young girl who wanted everyone to like her so she lied and diseaved the others, and all we saw was the peppy perky positive lets have fun side, and we only got to glimps a tiny bit of the battle she must have been facing when she was prepared to let Sazh shoot her to repent for what she and Fang did to his son. Serah was barely in XIII and not really enough to see what her strengths and weaknesses are untill you play XIII-2 and Lightning's strength shows up in her. As far as the linearity of the game, while I love exporing a world as much as the next, this games story of constantly being in motion and on the run made sense for a linear map. The over all plot of the story is very FF, young warriors defying fate and even the "gods" of there world. Fighting against things that they were raised to believe in there whole lives. All to find out they were being manipulated by one of those "gods", into doing what he wanted, and yet still causing him to fail by saving coccon. The idea was original and new and fresh. The battle system was something exciting and new to figure out and I think if they had made it any different in the terms you are saying, would make our heroes too godlike, defeating the purpose of the usual FF theme of young ordinary Heroes defying un ordinary events. While I can honestly say that I felt I was left wanting more from this FF game, I have said that about all the FF I have ever played, because if they ever came out with the perfect FF I would never need to play another ever again. I embrace every Final Fantasy game for what makes it different from the last, and look forward to the different ways they come up with in the future to enjoy the game! And XIII was amazing. The graphics alone were enough to fall in love with it, the amount of work and time that must have gone into this game (I mean look at how long it took to make!) I can honestly say the ones who dont like it just want a remake of VII which to me is boring, I have played VII already, bring on the new games!!!

so in that regard Neku probably reminds him of Riku, wouldnt you say Riku and Neku's personalities are kinda the same....hence why Sora and he get along

No 3Ds bundle has been announced for NA, there is the Mark of Mastery edition but I have heard the preorders are going quick so get on it!

I have been playing games for 23 years and counting, and I have never lost the drive to play. If anything I play more now that I don't have my parents limiting my play time. As long as epic games like Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy and Assassin's Creed etc, keep coming out I will continue to play!

I think while Sora will obviously remain the main player, I would enjoy getting to continue to play as Riku. Riku has become integral to the story and hes just so bad ass!! While I love Sora I think being able to switch between Riku and Sora would be ideal. I don't think in the main titles it will ever be anything other than those two.

Ok well if thats what you mean they werent really the main villains in KH I eaither, Ansem/Xehanort was/has been manipulating Meleficent and inturn Meleficent Manipulating the others. Once Xehanort saw they were useless and didn't need them they became less important, if you think about it works for the story.

How can you say trolling disney villains outside of KH 1? Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts will always be Sora's Story, KH 3 is going to be the end of whats called the Xehanort Saga, and titels to follow will have new villains. They Have a ton of Disney Worlds to use its just how they use them, just because they end the movie story lines doesn't mean Nomura cant come up with new story lines to make the game exciting!

Well Nomura said this was Sora's Story, I beleive its still Sora. Riku is an important character and I am glad hes finally getting a little more recognition and play, it was awesome playing as him in CoM and I am so excited to play him in KH3D. I thought he was a little underplayed in KHII it would have been a little cool to play what he was doing while in KH II and seeing his Keyblade discovery of the Way to Dawn.

I liked Meleficents band of Misfits as well, but I think Sora did a good job of breaking up the group a bit. And I am not so certain that the rest of the villains that were in leauge with her know shes back? I actually thought it was interesting that the two games were in oposition of eachother in regards to keyholes. In the first game we were LOCKING the keyholes to the hearts of those worlds, and in the second game we were UNLOCKING the pathways to other worlds by the connections made in the heart. And now even in 3D we are Unlocking keyholes of sleep.... I found this interesting. I believe that this is training in a sense for Sora, the ability to use the Keyblade to Lock and Unlock is its main purpose as a master, as in Xehanorts reports he states a key opens doors, which by the means of unlocking the doors we are able to travel through but if we lock them the conection to the other side is blocked right? Obviously this is important for the reason that Sora is said to be the one to open the door to light....but I also believe that in the long run the event will lead to locking the door to darkness.

Just because we havnt seen what Xemnas has been up to, dont asume that it means he is doing nothing. He is goal driven and goal orientend and I am sure has intentions and goals and plans of his own. I am sure he has his hands full and that if he could use the most powerful weapon of all the keyblade to atain his goals faster I bet you anything he would do it.

I think if you think about it Xemnas may be a special case. This is someone whos heart has been split into many directions, think about it, he split his heart into Braig and Terra in birth by sleep. Terranort than split his heart once again after being defeated by Master Aqua. Then the heart was split once more, creating the heartless and nobody Ansem SoD and Xemnas, not to mention the other Xehanort has planted his heart within as vessels. I think this is the reason that Xemnas cannot use the Keyblade and yet his weapons are called the Etherial Blades, I believe that these blades are mearly the ghosts of Terra and Xehanorts keyblades that cannot be completely summoned to to the multifractured heart he must have. (SPOILERS KH3D) Also it is learned that a Nobody may indeed create a heart of there own, which is why Roxas could wield the Keyblade. So in the future if Xemnas does create a heart of his own he may in fact be able to weild a keyblade once more!
