The town was a big one. Quiet, but filled with people. The sense that told him something dark was nearby had vanished. So he had flown here for nothing. Okay, not a problem. He walked up to a merchant who was selling expensive ores and diamonds. It reminded him of the mineral he was named after. Not to mention that Destiny was made out of onyx, too. "'Ya plannin' to buy somethin' or jus' stand there, gatherin' moss?", the merchant said. "Oh, sorry, just looking.", Onyx said. He didn't realize he had just been standing there. He wandered off across the town, looking for answers that weren't there.

(I'm so lost, too. .__.) Onyx wiped sweat from head. He won! A battle that didn't last long, though. He was happy it was short, nonetheless. The fight sparked skills he had long forgotten he had. It was excellent. But what now? Christopher had gone to sleep. Oh, right! He started running towards the dark aura he felt earlier. "No time," he said, unfurling his wings. "No time to run there!" Flying was a feeling that brought back memories as a infant living among other angels. He had no recollection of the town's name... But he remembered it was a place in the clouds. Then he had gotten sent down to the surface. Bad memories crashed around in his head like waves. The voice appeared again. "Don't fall off the game board.", it said, practically emotionless. Onyx was scared. He folded his wings and started dropping like lead. Nearing the ground, he glided down and ran to the side of a nearby bridge. Down in the water, he saw his reflection and choked. He didn't see himself... He saw his father. The father he hadn't seen in over nine years. He missed him. Tears streaked his face and he sat down on the bridge, thinking. His life was like a train that crashed in a deserted place, on a broken railroad. Oh God, he was so scared, but he knew he had to do something. He stood up and wiped off the tears and kept walking towards the local town. (Sorry if my roleplaying seems more like the piece of a story than actual roleplaying. > 3 <;; )

That's when it hit him. Onyx felt it. He felt someone was in danger. Someone nearby. He couldn't do anything, though. He was still fighting Christopher. I'll go check after this, he thought to himself. The atmosphere was tense and he could feel someone's aura. A dark aura. A familiar aura. Onyx trembled. He heard a voice whispering to him. "Just a piece in a game. You're just a piece.", it said. Onyx clenched his head and shook it. He needed to focus. Finally back in reality, he had seen that Christopher was starting to recover. Onyx had to focus if he wanted to win this fight. He knew that. So he did.

"Augh!", he couldn't see anything. Uh oh. Off to a good start, he thought to himself sarcastically. The fact that he couldn't see made him start to panic. In that instance, huge angel-like wings unfurled from his back. He jumped up and started soaring towards the sky. He spun and did dives and shook himself to get out of this barrier of wind. Soon enough, his vision slowly came back to him. Making progress. He made a rough landing ten feet from Christopher, who had his eyes wide. Don't think he's ever seen wings before, Onyx guessed. Bad move using them. He took advantage of the moment. No time to waste. Destiny had been taken, so Onyx summoned his keyblades. "Come forth, Cloud and Snow!", and there they were. He charged at Christopher and landed a nice blow to the chest, using both keyblades at the same time. He felt like he actually had a chance this time around.

He had been caught. He cursed under his breath. "A f-fight? Uh, well, y-you see...", Onyx's face turned red. Then he thought about it. He had gotten this far. He waited a moment then said, "Okay." "Come forth... Destiny!" A bulking black sword appeared in his hands. It felt great. The grip was amazing. Adrenaline rushed. He positioned himself, ready for battle. "I'm ready."

Onyx had watched the whole thing. The orange-haired boy using his keyblades and casting spells. "Amazing...", he was astonished. The boy was using techniques he never knew existed. The boy ran off beyond the hill. Onyx slowly followed, until it hit him. He collapsed on the floor and saw a vision. A vision of himself. He was soaring through the sky with huge wings similar to that of an angel. "Nnngh..", he stirred as he got up, unsure of what he saw. It stopped bothering him after a few moments and he continued to follow the boy. (Sorry I'm leeching off your character to progress, Chris. ; 3 ; It's just for now. 8D)

To be honest, I was hoping Animal Crossing 3DS would be one of the top ten. ; n ; I loved City Folk...

"Ah..." Onyx looked around curiously. It was new world to him. "Where am I?" He got up and wandered around, unsure of where to go. "Have I been... Asleep?", he thought to himself. This world felt familiar to him, yet, unusual and different at the same time. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a boy... Looked older in size, but had the face of a child. The boy had orange hair that gave him an innocent look. Did Onyx know him? He felt as if he had met him before, but he wasn't sure. He then decided to quietly follow this boy. "Maybe he can help me find out what's going on...", Onyx thought to himself. He quietly hid, waited, and watched.
