Sora96's Story
I think it is interesting that some of the most wonderful events happen because of a simple accident. None the less it is always interesting to hear someone's personal story, aka autobiography. I look forward to reading more.

About SAT Essays
I agree with both Ansem the Wise and Oniaku on their advice. I think you could expand a little bit on the other side of the argument a bit, but remember you always want to provide plenty of evidence in your essay to support your main points. I would also try to omit all of the contractions in your essay. You had a nice thesis statement at the beginning of your first paragraph. I also like how you incorporated American history to prove your point. I think it would be excellent if you could also think of an event in modern America to stress your point even more. Overall your essay looks good and I am sure you will perform well on your SAT. I wish you good luck!

What's your favourite version of Dearly Beloved?
I did not select one of the options in the poll because my favorite version of Dearly Beloved was not there. My favorite version of Dearly Beloved is the concert paraphrase version, I think it is absolutely gorgeous! I may be biased because I am a pianist, but everytime I listen to this piece it truely moves me. Well if you have not heard this piece yet here it is, enjoy! http://youtu.be/ufGPPatMLU8

Math help needed!
I have this question on my algebra homework and I am not sure how to answer it. Math is my weakest subject in school so, I often get easily confused. Anyway here is my question Is the given equation a linear equation? If not, explain. 4x-9=17 and this is the second one 3x/11-5/4=2x/7 Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A perfect example of dissonance in music
I felt like sharing a piece of music with everyone here. The piece, "The Rite of Spring," written by Igor Stravinsky is a wonderful piece. It provides an excellent example of what dissonance is in music. Dissonance in music was a relatively new concept at the time Igor Starvinsky wrote "The Rite of Spring." When he premired this piece in 1913 it literally caused riots, because people were not famlilar with the harsh sounds of dissonance. Today this piece is considered to be what a milestone in the history of ballet and an inspiration to modern composers. Here is an excerpt from the first movement of "The Rite of Spring."

So i wrote a Piano theme/melody....
I thought you did good job on your first composition. It had some nice melodies in it. However, I have to reccommend a real piano or keyboard if you are interested in learning how to play it or compose songs for it. A computer can simply not duplicate the beautiful sounds of a piano, I admire your effort and hope you will continue to write more music, good luck!
