Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa - The Feast Heavy servant's garb and pulling her hair back was a simple enough disguise. Only two of the people here had seen her before, and not for long. If she kept on her toes, and ensured she remained inconspicuous, remaining undiscovered would be a simple enough trick. The long robes and gloves covered her clothing, and she'd pulled her hair back into a ponytail opposed to it hanging loose. Her sword was strapped to her back invisible below the robes, and her bow and quiver were up in the rafters. Finally, she'd painted her face with black ink, hoping it would be the final straw to hide her as a different race entirely. They were a present but not prevalent people, Neena knew of this tribal based society that had face marks from birth. Combine that with simple doings of ones job, Neena felt she could get away with this. Especially since Alastor and Raiden should be far more concerned with their guests than their servants. Neena poured some wine into Arthur's goblet, then moved away, maintaining consistent awareness of her surroundings. Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; The Flowering Hyssop Swanson turned and grinned vividly towards Viridem and Ryonne, who had stood from their seats some paces away, watching cautiously. Viridem watched Ryonne's face, but it remained constant and neutral. This could go famously badly if Swanson screwed up. And Ryonne did not feel that Swanson was very good at not screwing up. They had far too little information about this place to try and fake it. But, it was going. And so the dice would roll. Swanson looked back towards Rabiyu and Yevgeni, and with a continued grin, answered their accusations. "My lord, you have me wrong. I'd not identify as Mystrian. The crabby green-haired one in the back would, she's not very happy. But all of us are travelers from all over. And all of us value coin more than prejudices." Swanson answered, rather competent. Except for the whole part where Yevgeni was very much not the prince. That was extremely incompetent. Viridem huffed and turned back to the bar to drain the rest of her drink. She couldn't watch this train wreck anymore. "And I, a spy? Look at me, far too burly, and far too loud. I'd not make a very good spy. And it would take a dimwitted spy to just kind of go up to you like this yes? Please, work has been slow for a bit. And its so terribly boring. We'd love to help, for a price." Swanson finished his pitch, hoping he was selling it. Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; The Market "Oh I hadn't any business really." Gelabrous answered Helios' query with a shrug. "I was just running from Sondon. You know, like you guys. Of course, you all were going much faster than I was, being in the sky and all, but we were doing the same thing." Gel said to them. Running from Sondon was now something he was doing with them, and they had like, an actual destination, opposed to his ambiguous journey towards "Away." Gel looked about the town, enjoying the new sights and sounds. Though, honestly they were not much different from Sondon's town's sights and sounds. "We could check things out around here if you like."

Rise of the Fallen (RP Thread)
Iuit was tossed aside, and landed hard, but still on his feet. This was getting quite tiresome. He did not like that his opponent could seal away magic. It took away the power he could deal. But it did not leave him useless. Learning from his mistakes, when the dropkick came, Iuit did not absorb the magical darkness, but did take the blow. It knocked him to the ground. Still, he would not go down. His dark skin still appeared perfectly undamaged when he kicked back up to his feet. He dashed forward, going for a right hook, and following the momentum with a heavy kick. He still hit like a truck, even whilst not empowered. ~ The Sword God stood, unmoved by Anthony's lecture. "Madmen are effective tools. They cut down weak ones like grass, and are easy to control once you learn their patterns." He spoke dryly, with little emotion towards either way. He cared very little for this man's crusade, nor for the girl's. He had his own work to do, and he would do it. He'd do it his way, but it would be done. "The slaughter is necessary. You do not understand, but you do not have to. Not knowing makes it easier for you to fight. And you need only fight. I do not wish to kill you for you proved yourself strong today. But if you insist, then I will ensure you regret that choice." The God before Anthony and Irena stepped forward, and drew his blade, a long, slender thing. "Another chance I will give you." ~ A hand touched Kaspar's shoulder. "You have done well my friend." Falling Boulder said with a nod towards Henry. "I saw your frightful battle, both of you have done spectacularly. I would appreciate the help as we surged forward still, but I understand if you are still injured and exhausted. You did a wonder of a job taking down the Celestial Twins, many lives of the future will be saved by your actions." Falling Boulder stood back to full height, and gestured down towards the prison camp. "But the mission remains the same. Our brethren are still locked away." ~ Ryonne ran still swiftly, threading through the crowds. He couldn't go top speed, not with the girl in his arms, but still certainly faster than a mortal, or even many Gods. The girl still complained, clearly not happy with how things went down, and very not happy to be in the arms of Ryonne. Who, mind you, was not content with a complaining passenger. "You make me wish I left you to die." He bit, to which the girl rolled her eyes. "I'd have been fine I assure you. Nikolai and I had this handled, it was you and that other guy who fussed it all up." Ryonne shook his head at the ungrateful nature of the girl. He noticed Seth appear out of nowhere in front of him, and rush away. Nikolai was still behind them, but certainly ahead of the guards who were beginning to simply throw people out of the way. One was still kneeling on the ground, dazed and covered in pieces of chandelier. Seth's disturbance had done quite well, sending huge crowds through the main exits, and making a general mess of the place. Ryonne reached the exit along with Seth and stepped outside. He set down the girl, who brushed down her skirts. Ryonne looked between the girl and Seth. "What now? Have an escape plan?" He asked her. Nikolai ran through the trio at that moment, rushing down the balcony. "Quickly now, things are going to get a little crazier still." The girl shook her head as Nikolai approached the edge of the balcony. "Damn prince knows how to put on a show at least." She said, running to join him. Ryonne looked confused. There was nothing but thin air beneath this balcony. That didn't seem to phase either Nikolai or the girl, as they both leaped off. That was when two of the four Gods appeared in the exit, one immediately throwing a spear at Seth. ~ Phato looked towards the melting gold. Fine. Whatever. She gestured towards everyone still inside the vault. "Get out now!" She told them all. They needed nothing else. Phato waved her wand through her fingers, and began to move away from Rabiyu. She'd seen her summon that... thing. She didn't like that, but there was little she could do about it really. She just needed to move on with the plan. The Elf before her was clearly far more skilled at magic than she was, but all she needed to do really was delay. "Simia!" She cried, and a spiritual gorilla was created before her, which sent a fist towards Rabiyu. Phato dashed towards the back of the vault. Mack was stopped midswing. The woman figure before him was... incredibly odd to say the least. Her teleportation alone was of some interest. Didn't matter. He needed to end them both. Loyalists. He shook his head, then breathed out. His resolve found, he let go of his blade and suddenly jabbed at the woman, before grabbing the sword again and ripping it from her grasp. Mack still pounced forward swinging downward with the blade.

Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa Neena continued to watch the goings on silently. No one was entirely comfortable with this situation, she could derive that much. Distrust was already seeded between the two allies, and for good reason. Humans certainly couldn't be trusted, and if Raiden wished to unite the worlds as he had said, he definitely couldn't be trusted. Neena was glad she was here right now. It was a good time. She could watch and wait and strike when she needed to. Alastor was a problem, she could tell that much. If she could pull it off, exploiting this distrust so that she could get Alastor busy with the humans whilst she dealt with the fey among humans and Raiden swiftly (that was another thing... Could she pull that off? It'd be a hell of a trick at the very least...). Or perhaps instead of manipulating chaos, she should instigate duels one at a time in isolated instances. If she played her cards right, that might create chaos anyway. So many options... Whatever she did, it would have to be soon, before the alliance before her grew in strength. Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Flowering Hyssop Their drinks on the counter in front of them, Viridem and Swanson were continuing to disagree while Ryonne refocused. They were here to figure out what the place was like, report back to their employer on the potentials of it. Just since coming here, Ryonne had already felt so incredibly... out of place. Even those that seemed nearly indistinguishable from humans had an odd aura about them, one of experience, age, or power. He couldn't quite tell. All the same, there were also those that seemed almost entirely inhuman, many with wings of a bird or butterfly or bat. Some with the horns of a devil, or the tail of a monkey. Some with markings on their skin. Ryonne could hardly absorb it all. However, what held his rapt attention, was the presence of a foursome, that were discussing something with quite the same vitality his own group did. He scanned the rest of the bar, and noticed many also had the four in their sights. Ryonne tapped Viridem on the shoulder, getting the attention of his comrades. "Something fishy with those over there. They've got the attention of everyone here." Ryonne said under his breath. Swanson took a very conspicuous look around, then nodded. "I wonder who they are?" The Axe Collector pondered out loud. Viridem sighed, closing her eyes and shaking her head. She got up off her seat and moved towards where a big Fey man with butterfly wings sat with a pint in front of him. "Excuse me, but do you know who those guys are?" Viridem asked innocently. The man scoffed, then answered. "The bloody prince. Damn royals think they own everything they can see. Lord Raiden's the real power around here." Viridem nodded and thanked him, then returned to her comrades, an expression of "See? Told you so." on her face. Ryonne watched Viridem's face for a moment longer then returned his gaze to Jynn. "What are they doing here and why are people hostile? And didn't we hear Raiden when the Alderon and his party were en route to wherever they're going." Ryonne continued to wonder out loud, hoping to generate more conversation. Swanson, not one to be outdone by Viridem's strategy of just asking, stood up, and despite Ryonne and Viridem's hisses to come back, he wandered over towards Jynn, Yevgeni, Rabiyu, and Alicia. With a hapless smile on his face, he began to speak to them. "Good evening fellows! And you, my prince," Swanson bowed towards Yevgeni, having mistaken the identity of the prince. "My friends and I are mercenaries, and noticed hushed tones. I've always wanted to work for a prince. Could you perhaps indulge me in getting some work?" Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice Gel pondered the coup longer. He found himself agreeing with Helios really, after what they'd put him through? They definitely deserved what they got. Still... coups were bloody affairs. Gel couldn't find it within himself to just kick back and enjoy the bloodshed. He couldn't do anything personally yes, but that didn't mean he had to like it. His heart went out to those that may end up lost. He refocused on the conversation at hand, as Helios offered them all a clean slate. Would it be that easy? Gel thought it would be wonderful, truly, to be able to do just that. Would it be the same as home? Probably not, especially if everyone was like Helios. That was, ever so slightly weird. But Gel was weird now too. He could fit in, yeah. "I mean, yeah. That'd be great. I've never wanted to stay here. It feels so dangerous... Like I could be apprehended at any moment. Tortured again... But this time, death doesn't feel like it'll ever be an option." Gel meditated on the nature of his powers. He didn't know how far was too far, he had no clue at what point his magic would give up and he would perish. "You say that your home is peaceful yes? I think I'd like that. I don't know about you guys, but peace would be quite a nice thing." Gel asked the Aeternum siblings on their own opinions.

Retreat come on Jynn and yall don't be a coward fight or die no looking back For real tho that's prob smart. Neena's watching carefully, and she might make a move if she sees an opportunity. If a fight breaks out, that's definitely an opportunity she can take advantage of, and also if one of the humans goes off from the group she might take the chance to get some questioning in. Also Cerberos is gonna go piss off somewhere into the Overworld, prob get into trouble assuming no one stops them (I haven't read most recent posts yet so disregard this if someone interacted with them)

Rise of the Fallen
I did forget to mention, I noticed a few misinterpretations of what's going on in the story in your post. Aleksandr killed Nikolai's father two years with the help of a godly assassin, and then drove Nikolai away so he could usurp the throne. Since then Nikolai has been away, with occasional rumors of sightings. Hope this cleared things up for you! Accepted! As a fun note, since I don't recall if I mentioned it in the OP, but the Ruler of the Gods is based purely upon strength. Dayben won his seat fair and square by defeating his predecessor and any usurpers in battle. I wouldn't say this means that Dayben is the strongest of all, as not every God desires the seat, but it puts him up there.

Rise of the Fallen
I created the lore in order to help myself and other people feel like there was some system and order to the rules of the world, while not limiting the creativity which I saw most explicitly demonstrated in your posts. I do hope I managed to succeed. Anthony was corrupted by a God of Darkness (who will be met soon), and thus his magical power is actually Godly in origin. It thus does not obey the rules of Old or New magic. Seth is unique I agree. I'd suggest his abilities stem from his own created New magic, and he simply prefers it to traditional spell-casting. That way it makes sense that he was able to forge his own magical weapon too. Alternatively, his powers could have the same origins as Henry, that as the gift of a spirit.

Henry's a special case because of what you outlined in your bio, he's not trained in traditional magic, was simply granted magic power. It could have been a gift from Pluto.

Kingdom Hearts: Vanguard Rebirth
Name: Selvera Dame Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: Alignment: Neutral Personality: Harsh and critical, powered by an imperceptible need to please and prove, yet unwilling to cop to anyone's desires for her personality to shift. With a flare for the dramatic, Selvera is lonely and looking for a home but simply finds it difficult to trust people farther than she can swing her sword. Bio: A wanderer by nature, Selvera was a young girl when her home was consumed by darkness. Finding herself in Traverse Town, she grew up there an orphan, but the moment she could, she left. Selvera has been meandering about from world to world with a blade in hand looking for munny and purpose. She bears little specific hatred for the darkness, despite it destroying her home. Rather, she bears a universal hatred for most anything. Upon receiving the letter, she traveled back to Traverse Town, hoping for a job. Weapons: A simple arming sword. A coin that can create portals is her most treasured possession, as it enables her wandering lifestyle. Name: Nikolai Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Alignment: Light Personality: A fun-loving, flirtatious foreign power, Nikolai travels with a bright smile and charming eyes wherever he goes. He's arrogantly confident in himself and his abilities, but in the end, he's fiercely loyal and passionate for ensuring his world's safety. Bio: A prince born in a foreign world, when it was threatened by the darkness, his father drove it off with the armies at his back. But Nikolai knew that he could not rest until he was certain it was banished forever. He asked his father for a ship, and was granted such. He left, and traveled to try and find allies that had the same idea as he. He encountered Hiroki, who joined him in his ship until they both received the note. They head now towards Traverse Town. Weapons: A pair of boots designed to make kicks hurt like hell, and a saber. Name: Hiroki Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: Alignment: Darkness Personality: Quiet. He doesn't say much but to criticize and reign in his allies, one in particular. He prefers to keep things grounded in reality, and everyone practical. He stays within moral right whenever possible, and will fight to the end to serve his purpose. Bio: A boy who grew up within a monastery atop a mountain. The monks' purpose was to beat back the enemies of the town below, full of innocent farmers and the like. When Hiroki was young, he thought this purpose silly. There hadn't been enemies for decades, why worry about it at all. But the monks assured him, that if they let down their guard, it would come. The monks were not evil folks, but understood the power of darkness. They found that by leading lives of compassion and meditation, darkness could become one's ally. They trained Hiroki in this, and true to their word, the darkness did come. They beat it back, but knew it would not be the end of the threat. They sent Hiroki out into the world through a dark corridor. It was not long before he encountered and joined Nikolai. Now they've both received notes, and are headed for Traverse Town. Weapons: A bowstaff. Also experienced in unarmed combat.

Rise of the Fallen (RP Thread)
Iuit had kept up the barrage as long as he could, and likely could have gone longer, but his opponent had some measure of skill. And durability. Iuit was impressed that the mortal was taking so many of the hits and scarcely blinking. Henry deflected one of his blows, and got in a palm strike. Iuit's punches ceased, and he took a step back, the concussive force making him stumble slightly. But he stood still, and smiled as a dark aura flowed from his dark skin. If his opponent would not learn, this would be even easier than he thought it would. Unharmed, Iuit charged forward with his shoulder targeting Henry's chest, and upon impact or not, he leaped into the air, coming down with a kick as Henry's own dark energy lashed out at its former master. ~ Liquel was taken by surprise as Anthony came back with a reprise, his scythe destroyed by the man's strike. His clone could not stand up to the assault by Irena either. Now floored by the dual attacks, Liquel sneered at his opponents. "Oh this is not over yet. My play time has just begun!" He cried, a menacing laugh filling the air as he stood up. A veritable army of clones soon surrounded them all, and Liquel smiled again. Then suddenly, something hit him in the back of the neck, and he fell to the floor. He began dissolving away, just as Gods do when killed, and all his clones faded into nothingness. Standing where Liquel once did was a man, tall and with long, spiky hair. A blade was at his waist and a serious expression, a far cry from Liquel's manic one, graced his face. "I will teach him lessons later about efficiency with opponents." The man said. "For now, I give you both a single chance. Leave now and be spared, for you were worthier than my lieutenant. Else, stay and fight, and meet death." ~ Ryonne pushed through the crowd as quickly as he could, slipping inbetween tables and people. But the Gods were quicker. They reached the girl, and lifted her by the collar. The girl only smiled through gritted teeth. Ryonne reached a hand out, and was about to simply activate his speed magic to reach her in time. Before he could though, another loud commotion sparked from near the front. The hooded noble Ryonne had spotted earlier had stepped up onto a table and dropped a glass of crystal, shattering it on the ground. "This has gone a bit differently than I had intended it to, thanks to you my good blacksmith." The noble gestured towards Seth, and smiled, which was slightly visible from underneath the hood. King Aleksandr was growing increasingly alarmed. He knew that voice, and it was not one that was welcome. "But in the end, it was a demonstration of your King's cruelty. Which it established quite well, once again, thank you sir." The noble continued, waving his hands in grand gestures that ultimately seemed to indicate little more than a large ego. The noble took down his hood, and a handsome blond man stood, his blue eyes dancing with delight. Ryonne's face visibly grew increasingly shocked, as he realized who it was. Nikolai, the lost prince. Aleksandr's face grew hot, and an expression of anger came to him. How dare he show his face! "Guards!" He barked, and two more gods emerged from the room behind the high table. "To me!" The ones holding the girl glanced to each other, and her captor drew a fist back, ready to strike when Ryonne moved, launching from his position with incredible speed after whispering his key word, Currere, snatching her from the god's grasp. He landed and moved with her in his arms down the other aisle. The girl whispered to him, in a sweet mocking tone. "My hero!" Ryonne shook his head as he continued to move towards the side exit, the Gods both in pursuit behind him. He had to take it slower than he could have, the mass amounts of people and obstacles prohibiting him from going full speed. The pair of Gods that had just been summoned were directed towards Nikolai who smiled and blew them a kiss, before taking off sprinting. As he passed Seth he beckoned for him to follow, and he moved towards the side exit Ryonne and the girl were taking. ~ Phato made it to the bank vault, as some of the civilians behind her fell, crippled by Rabiyu's arrows. Phato looked over the vault door for a spare moment, then traced a circle in the air, and pressed her hands together. The preparations for this had occurred earlier in the week, and now it took only a single spell, "Reseravi!", to unlock the door. Phato pushed it open, some of the civilians helping her. It creaked open, and she slipped inside her small brigade of civilians helping her. "Grab as much as you can carry, then go!" She cried to them, then began to do so herself, picking up handfuls of gold and stashing them in her cloak. Her eyes passed over an intricate rod, but she did not pick it up, instead lunging for more gold. Fierro's arms were now bound and though he squirmed he got nowhere. The half-elf warned him to stop struggling, but Fierro knew that only punishment would follow if he were captured by the loyalists. Some of the civilians he'd sent up the stairs to gather other materials were returning. "Around the corner!" He shouted to them directions to where they were supposed to go. They nodded and began to run, escaping through the same wall in the ice wall as the other civilians had before. It would only be a few more moments before militia began to arrive Fierro realized. They'd have to get moving. Meanwhile Mack was not letting up with his blade, slashing and stabbing like there was no tomorrow, bloodlust in his eyes. "There didn't have to be bloodshed here! You chose this path my friend, and now you will walk it to the end!" He cried as he hacked at Brenainn.

Rise of the Fallen
Yes, benevolent gods are okay, but I will reiterate what I said before, I'd prefer there to be less of that and more of the other races. Regardless, do as you wish I'll likely accept wholeheartedly whatever you put up. As for the Rod being locked up, it would be for security reasons. Elves are a generally peaceful folk, and when it landed in the hands of elves centuries ago, the King at the time put it away for its destructive and chaotic abilities, seeing little reason as to why he should keep it around for wartime or assassinations or whatever. He eliminated it from the bank and royal records soon after.

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa The company had arrived. The King of the humans and his servants. Entourage really. A motley crew of assassins, guards, knights, generals. Neena knew she could dispatch any of them with ease (their lack of magical power made them exceptionally weak in comparison to her she thought), except perhaps the woman who stood close to the King. She had actual magic, and that thought disturbed her. Magic was not meant for people on the surface. However, she'd waited too long. She was playing it cautiously, as right she should when this outnumbered. However now, Raiden and Alastor were back. Perched upon the shadows of the catwalk, she watched carefully, waiting for a moment when she could disrupt. This meeting could lead to a very dangerous alliance, one that she could not allow to stand undamaged. There were still other players in this game too. Jynn and Yevgeni and that lot should be here any second, and though she distrusted Shiva and her methods, their goals aligned in this moment. They could not get here fast enough. Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Flowering Hyssop "I do not see why you two were so worried, not a thing has gone wrong!" Swanson proclaimed, caring little for the noise and attention he brought upon them as they entered the bar. It was a bar he thought, if it was not raucous it was a bad bar. Ryonne shook his head and Viridem rolled her eyes. "Oh I suppose being in an enclosed space, with no chance of escape, with eight of the most skilled warriors in the kingdom against us shouldn't make me concerned for my safety, you're right." Viridem said bitterly as they moved forward, the three of them taking a seat at the bar. The bartender looked at them oddly, and some of the other, more watchful patrons did as well. Ryonne took particular notice of this. "Try not to be so conspicious," He muttered under his breath to his partners. "We're still in a place we do not belong. Just because we're not near the King doesn't mean we're free from danger." He asserted. The bartender walked over to the three of them, and took orders for drinks, Swanson an ale, Viridem a whiskey, and Ryonne wanted only water. They continued to bicker amongst themselves but with a lower tone than beforehand. Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; Entrance As his comrades began to move forward, the bag of gold sitting untaken on the side of the road, Gel had a moment of duress. Why the firetruck hadn't they taken it? Gel had grown up poor, and such money did not come just by being in the right place at the right time very often. He looked between his departing allies and the bag a few more times, then swiped it up. He was not going to leave perfectly good gold behind. It was firetrucking gold! He rushed to catch up to them as they entered the city. They were still speaking of what had happened with the odd Duke, and Gel paused to consider it himself. It was not often that men of high standing traveled so far, and not with so many men. And just kind of considering all the other things that were happening, Gel wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of movement or uprising. "Afraid I didn't travel much before now. I know about as much about this country as you do Helios. I'm sure you two are in the know though, being mercenaries or what all?" Gel contributed.

Rise of the Fallen
In the vault perhaps? Seems valuable enough to put in there. Up to riku wherever he'd like to put it but that was my instinct.
