  1. I really hope that Pixar (and Disney or any other film study for that matter) learns from the bizarre scene in The Good Dinosaur (you'll know what I mean when you see it) that they will not put any other sort of scene in their movies from now on. A fruit scene that is completely out of context and makes no sense whatsoever. Would that really do that to you? It seems as though all of the other elements in every other Pixar film made sense and was completely believable as such but then this comes through. And like I said, considering the movie's mixed reception and currently underperforming box office numbers, that must tell you something. Its not that big of a stretch to suggest that this scene could have tainted people's feelings towards the rest of the movie (even if it actually did get better after this scene), also bringing other complaints about it to a brighter light when otherwise they may have been disregarded. I cannot believe that anyone would even think that you'd want something like that. They actually had the sense to cut a similar Cars 1 Deleted scene that thankfully got changed to something not only less disturbing but more functional for the story in the final film. Seeing something ridiculously bizarre (not to mention pointless and about as "out there" as you can go) happen to characters that you love just smugs you and makes you never look at them the same way again. There are appropriate ways to tell the story and create humour with it than to resort to bizarre adult referenced humour. They have done that in the past with all of their other films which from the look of things are going to be a lot more successful and memorable then this will be. It is also unchallenging and unimaginative that they have to result to desperate, bizarre humour just to tell a story. They have discarded these kind of elements from their movies in the past, and all of their movies before now would probably have not been as memorable or celebrated had they kept those elements in. They have created movies that challenged them and brought out the bestow their imaginative thoughts before now. Was the delay in production enough to tear it out of them? Yet, they revamped the entire movie of Toy Story 2 (aka my favourite movie and the movie that made me want to get into making movies (and NOT animated movies for that matter, just movies in general)) in 9 months when it was normally a 4 year process. Here they revamped the entire movie in 2 years and 3 months. What happened? Did they forget the process that they went through and how that film turned out? While others may not like it as much as me, consider the following facts: Toy Story 2 has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes It won the Golden Globe for Best Picture (as in for ANY movie in general, period) It made pretty close to $500 Million at the box office I've yet to meet one soul (online or not) who was disappointed in it. Even those who normally hate sequels say that they loved this one. "The rare sequel that is just as good or better than its predecessor." I've also met many people who even say that they liked this one better than Toy Story 3 and consider it one of Pixar's best. Now let's look at The Good Dinosaur: 78% on Rotten Tomatoes (even lower on other critic sites) Pretty much the lowest opening in Pixar's history (and considering that ticket prices are more expensive and it has the 3-D element, the movie's opening should be higher than the movies which were released in 2D, which were more than half of the previously released ones) Quite a lot of people (even those that did like it) have called it disappointing or even "meh" and most have agreed that they would have cut this messed up bizarre scene out of the movie. Bottom line is that Pixar could have challenged themselves and put more imaginative input into this movie like they have in the past. All reviews and reactions that I have seen towards this movie state that they didn't even find that it felt Pixarish. And by the way, Inside Out earlier this year had the biggest opening (excluding Toy Story 3) of all time for Pixar and the biggest opening for an original movie AND the biggest opening for a second place at the box office movie. It was loved by most and you would think that this fact along with the popularity of dinosaurs, fuelled by the to grossing movie of the year (and the top 3 highest grosser of all time), that it would be enough to make this movie do better and even receive a better acclaim.
  2. I just hope that this film has no weird scenes like in The Good Dinosaur (you'll know what I mean when you see it)
  3. Could not have said it any better myself. That is in essence what any adaptation and why it changes things should be viewed as.
  4. To anyone reading this, I was wondering if you possibly would be able to help me out with something if it would not be too much to ask. There is no rush for it and you can do it on your own time. I was wondering if you'd be able to help me find actual footage, whether the scene, bits of it or even Behind the Scenes B roll footage of certain scenes, as I am looking for some particular ones for a project. The specific scenes that I am curious about are as follows: The Potions Riddle from Stone. Dunno if it was actually filmed, but as it was included as part of a set top game on the DVD/Blu ray, it is possible that they did film some stuff with it An actual explanation scene of the Marauders. In the script, Lupin does tell Harry that his Patronus is a Stag and mentions Prongs which would have provided a better explanation for the Marauders instead of leaving it vaguely explained in the subtext. I'm also curious if there were any alternate takes of the scene of Dumbledore in the hospital wing from PoA, or of the scene between Fudge and Harry at the beginning of that film (specifically takes with Tom) The full Constant Vigilance scene from GoF. We saw a glimpse of it on the Reflections on the Fourth Film on the DVD/Blu-ray, but I wonder if the full classroom scene exists seen as B roll footage. I would also like to know whether there are any alternate takes of Dumbledore (hopefully) not slamming Harry against the wall or yelling as harshly. I'm also wondering about any deleted scenes from the first half of the movie (up to after the Yule Ball) as a lot of them would have helped with its pacing if put back in. From Ootp, the full Battle footage from the end, if even such exists. The full Snape's worst memory scene, and essentially any other scenes that would have helped with its pacing issues too For HBP, any sort of footage of what replaced the battle at the end, what their full initial purpose with that ending was. Same with footage from the Burrow Attack as that scene felt kinda lacking in its entirety too. The Viktor Krum dancing scene at the wedding from DH1. As well as pretty much everything related to the Battle of Hogwarts and resolution afterwards from DH2. Thank you for your consideration in helping me out.
  5. From the Lion Guard movie, it looks like the series will be pretty good. Only complaint is that Rob Lowe just doesn't cut it as Simba. Cam Clarke or Mathew Broderick need to come back, like how John Goodman came back for season 2 of Emperer's New School
  6. This teaser trailer gives me the same feels as when I saw the actual movie trailer back in the day. My favourite movie for life! My favourite movie in live action!
  7. It really is a sin that Lego The Hobbit only adapted the first two Hobbit movies. Why bother starting something if you are not going to see it completely finished, especially considering that it ended on such a cliff hanger? We need a complete story to finish off the series in Lego form, whether in a new game or DLC (like they were planning to do). If you agree with me, then please sign and share this to as many people as you can. https://www.change.org/p/warner-brothers-lego-release-lego-the-hobbit-the-battle-of-the-five-armies-dlc

  9. I'm glad I gave certain shows like Sofia the First and Sheriff Callie a chance whenever I would have not originally watched. They actually made my life a whole let better and put a lot of things into perspective. I've learned more fro them now then when I did when I was younger. As an adult or perhaps bit younger you need these kids' shows just as much or more than when u were younger, as you often forget or overlook these morals through all of this otherstuff onyour mind. But anyways I'm not making you check out these shows if you do not want to. Its just what I was trying to say about why I like Dumbo's Circus and similar shows like the two I just mentioned i the first place.
  10. Thanks for the tip, I have got it memorized with regards to double posting Was it my description of the show that turned you away? If so i apologize for not being detailed enough and hope that it wasn't why it did not interest you
  11. Veronica Roth is actually pleased at the changes to her story:
  12. If you can please check out the Dumbo's circus episode that I posted there or the few others if you have time to check it out If you can please check out the Dumbo's circus episode that I posted there or the few others if you have time to check it out
  13. Are u being sarcastic? Anyways Pooh's corner is the same kind of thing with a narrator telling us the stories of Pooh. They go through various adventures which were very fun and inspiring such as one episode where Tigger was trying to make flap jacks, and had to learn how to do it "step by step, by step, by step by step, by step"
  14. We still can talk about and discuss them. Just because I start a forum out with an advertisement does not mean you have to become Unversed about or remain restricted to it. They were both live action tv shows of Dumbo and Winnie the Pooh, using people in suits and puppets for some of the other characters. Through simple but great writing and musical numbers, the characters went through various life lessons, with Dumbo's Circus (btw at its time until Phineas & Ferb surpassed it, the longest running Disney Channel series/largest amount of episodes) always concluding with a 3-4 act circus performance at the end. Look up some episodes of it here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8zNlWMVjwFjg7QsOY7U0hQGK_z-hpzyH
  15. Please sign & share. It means a lot to me and others to see these truly great shows back. Given the recent greatness of current Disney Channel shows, these old favourites would work well playing alongside them for both a new generation and an older one in search of nostalgia and life lessons and morals long forgotten as they've grown up https://www.change.org/p/the-walt-disney-company-walt-disney-get-disney-to-release-dumbo-s-circus-and-welcome-to-pooh-corner-in-their-entirety-on-dvd?recruiter=376961216&utm_source=share_for_starters&utm_medium=copyLink
  16. According to a Pixar employee, "The Good Dinosaur is the most beautiful film that I have ever worked on" http://www.al.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/11/the_good_dinosaur_is_the_most.html
  17. This new Shadowhunters behind the scenes video further convinces me that they are on the right track with their new ideas for the series. If you love Harry Potter you may like this series
  18. They are funny, especially in SSBM when you try to avoid them Though kinda speaking of which, I feel very terrified for those living in San Diego with that shooter.when you look outside you can hear shooting every 5 seconds like it is non stop
  19. Also never noticed how much Heartless looked like bomb-ombs (or at least their heads)
  20. Never noticed how the Destiny Island field theme kinda reminds me of the Sofia the First theme song as they have a similar beat and rhythm
  21. ....Soon. Check out his post, I am super excited to see what he comes up with. Josh, if you are reading this thank you for the inspiration my friend. If I may say so you are what any kind of project is about: putting the work and dedication into it, knowing what to say and when to say it (when it is ready). You will always have my full support in all of your future projects and endevours: (look up his Facebook page as copy and paste does not appear to be working for me here)
  22. I hope they "Get it memorized" for some trailer in the future.... imagine if we saw something related to Maleficent the movie or even Descendants in the trailer .......
  23. That did not stop Toy Story 3, Girl Meets World, Life Size 2 (another Disney channel movie sequel even longer after its original with Tyra Banks still i the role), and of course the movie coming out this Dec. 18. As you say they need to finish off Kal and doing another movie with the points that I have said along with this idea would be the perfect way to go about doing it Of course another idea would be to see this series appear in Kingdom Hearts with those same elements. I'd love for it to happen and even made a petition for it to happen a while back: https://www.change.org/p/disney-square-enix-put-the-halloweentown-disney-channel-movies-in-kingdom-hearts
  24. This proves that there is a lot of support and interest from an audience in another Halloweentown movie (provided that Kimberly J. Brown is Marnie of course): "5,000 people usually turn up here at the busiest time of year - in July. Tonight (Oct. 10), there were 10,000 people" There is so much that they could do with the series were they to continue the story. They were actually supposed to do a 5th, titled Halloweentown: She's the Witch, which would have wrapped up the series with Marnie becoming a fully powered witch and tying up the plot of the amulet at the end of the 4th. The mega successes of Maleficent and Frozen have proven that the fantasy genre (especially that with a female protagonist) is still popular. Kimberly and the cast being older actually works well for the story too considering the audience that grew up with the movies is around the same age now too. That tactic has worked for Girl Meets World, which successfully brought back both the old audience who grew up with Boy Meets World as well as a new audience, both groups of which enjoy the old and new cast and elements featured in the show. That show is now probably the most successful currently on Disney Channel and arguably one of its most popular sitcoms in history. The same kind of success could happen with Halloweentown should they choose to pursue it.
  25. "Dang"! To speak of your artwork and the end of this awesome tv spot, the oil related to both looks sweet!
