  1. Xion is an imperfect replica of Sora made from his memories of Kairi. Only fragments of memories of her actually are recognized and no one even knows her name.

    She will most likely be:

    • Rescued in the next game
    • Stay forgotten forever
    • Rescued before KH3 (the next game) and they'll just do back stories through Mementos or Other Games (Like 358/2 Days, Re:Coded, and Birth By Sleep, where they addressed issues that weren't addressed in KH2)
    • Not addressed until a new Saga after Xehanort

  2. If you really are ready to beat him, watching the cutscenes at the end of the game will be half the wait. Don't forget, this is a secret boss, and secret bosses are hard bosses. In all likeliness if the final bosses are hard, you'll have to do some grinding before you can beat him.

Not really, I beat Julius with Sora at level 45 and Riku at level 42 on Critical. Took 5 and a half tries for Sora (a half because my 3DS ran out of battery.) For Riku, it was just one try, he's amazingly way stronger than Sora.

  3. I used Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Balloon, and 4 Curagas at level 40 and did it first try. I wanted to make it a bit interesting lol.

    But my priority would be:

Dark Splicer (Because it can teleport you to him.)

Shadowbreaker (Just that mid-speed attack that can do a fairly amount of damge, only with the light part though.)

Dark Firaga (Obviously for a decent damage output.)

Blizzaga (Why? because it doesn't disappear on impact, it keeps piercing the target for a max for 3 hits.)

Balloonga (Because when he backs away this spell can still hit him with the large Balloon and the 6 smaller ones.)

Curaga x 2 (For obvious reasons.)

    or my absolute favorite:

    Dark Splicer

    Balloonga/Blizzaga x 4

    Curaga x 2

  4. I think that Nomura wants Sora becoming a keyblade master in the next saga. Would be better for the story.

Uhh, this was a long time ago haha, I already played through the game a decent number of times and I kinda realized why he really needed to fail this one. This was Riku's game, his shining moment lol. After I watched all the scenes in April, I knew Sora didn't need to be a Keyblade Master, but it still would be nice haha.

  5. oh..all I know is..he need to become younger if they want to enter the realm of sleep..and the clothes is from Xehanort ..(because of the X thingy) and also I'm quite confused at TWTNW because we play with the younger sora but the cutscenes shows that Sora's in his older form

    -.-

Sora and Riku, up until the beginning of KH3D had been learning how to wield the Keyblade wrong. So in order for them to unlearn all they learned, Yen Sid needed to bring them back to the past before Destiny Islands fell into darkness. (Yes, they time traveled.) After entering the Realm of Sleep, they were bestowed upon new clothes by none other then Yen Sid himself. On top of that Riku became a Spirit Dream Eater to eliminate the nightmares in Sora's Dreams, unknowingly. Sora received an X Sigil as a mark that the Organization could follow. After the test was finished, they learned how to wield the keyblade and Riku even became a master. Now that Sora learned how to wield it correctly, he did not need to go back in time to learn again. Therefore when he entered the Realm of Sleep he was his normal, 15 year old self.

The World that Never Was is in what they refer to as the Realm Between. The Realm Between is basically a realm between the Realm of Light and the Realm of Darkness and now the Realm of Sleep. Think of it as the middle ground where every realm overlaps.

Sora entered the The World that Never Was as his young self, because Yen Sid's magic had not yet worn off. For it to wore off, they must return to the Mysterious Tower first.

Yen Sid never stated that you have to be younger to enter the Realm of Sleep, I have no idea where you got that from.

  6. The only place I noticed for improvement throughout the ENTIRE game of Kingdom Hearts Dream, Drop, Distance was that the Disney movie, Tinker Bell, could've fit in along the same lines as the worlds currently in the story. After all, most of the game's worlds' storylines take place in the past. It wouldn't have surprised me if Pixie Hollow could've been added as a Sleeping World since Sora would've had the same reaction with Tinker Bell not remembering him (like Tron, Jiminy Cricket, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy). What DID surprise me was the number of worlds that were actually freed by Sora and Riku.

For that matter, if you calculate the number of worlds actually explored, there are only six worlds locked in sleep -- Destiny Islands was NEVER ASLEEP!! The World That Never Was wasn't even in the "Realm of Sleep" (my name for the realm that Sora and Riku are exploring), so neither one should count.

In fact, the keyhole that Sora and Riku unlocked after getting sucked underwater wasn't even a SLEEPING KEYHOLE!! Master Yen Sid sent Sora and Riku back in time to find the keyhole that leads into the "Realm of Sleep". Because Xehanort's Heartless [Ansem] was there at that point in history (the night the islands were lost to the Darkness), Young Master Xehanort was able to enter with his help. Therefore, Destiny Islands is only from the past. There were only SIX Sleeping Worlds freed: Traverse Town, La Cite Des Cloches, The Grid, Prankster's Paradise, Country of the Musketeers, and Symphony of Sorcery. When they arrived at The World That Never Was, Sora and Riku both claimed that they had freed SEVEN worlds from eternal slumber, which leaves The World That Never Was out, too. What was the seventh one?! Was it never revealed at all?!

The task was to seal the Seven Keyholes of Sleep to gain the power to awaken those sleeping in darkness/sadness. There was never any specificity on how many worlds there were. It was plain and simple actually, there were Seven Keyholes of Sleep and 2 happened to be in the same world, Traverse Town. That's all there is to it.

  7. As opposed to just reliving the Disney movies with extra monsters thrown in, Kingdom Hearts must write original senarios to happen when we vist Disney worlds in the future. (There are only so many sequals to Aladin, right?)

Now that there is a chance of games after KH3, what part do the Disney worlds play in the next Arc of KH?

    1. Rehash every Disney Sequel ever made

    2. New episode with old characters and old worlds

    3. Crossovers

Crossovers. What if the Disney worlds started to come together, like they were in ancient times. Before all worlds become one, some worlds collide in odd combinations. Imagine a Lion King meets The Jungle Book adventure where the two worlds are coliding and the characters are meeting each other. (and through in a square-enix villian too, if need be)

Each worls would be a combo of two worlds coliding, their plots tieing into each other in a big way. Add all of this could build up and lead the way for a united world where all the Disney characters inhabit one world. Imagine all of the choas and comedy gold you could make!

But what is the best part of "Worlds Coliding"? It forces the writers to tell original stories, maybe even let the Disney half of KH shine. (Lord knows it's been a long time.) And better yet, find a way to connect the journey and growth of the MCs with the small adventures in each Disney world.

What do you think the Future of KH will be Post KH3?

This is pretty radical for Disney. I mean you have to get the different copyrights for those certain movies and then ask if you can make them interact. You also have to analyze the different personalities of each character and how they would react in different scenarios. Not to mention the only real crossovers of any of these character is The House of Mouse and there they really barely interact. I think it would be a great idea, but all these things might prove too much. It still might be possible though because in Kingdom Hearts 1 the Princesses of Heart were together and Beast was outside of his "Original World." I guess it all depends on their expertise of these characters. I think it would be insane though, since no movie has tried that yet. But you never know, it's Kingdom Hearts, anything can happen. I, personally, am still waiting for Pixar Worlds and the magic of their no-corny endings, unlike other Disney movies.

  8. I never used balloons in my first playthrough. But alot of people here are talking like Bubbles are a godsend. Why are Ballon spells so good, and How do you use them strategicly in battle.

Balloon, Balloonra and Balloonga are water magic commands. They work best against enemies with low resistance to water and particularly any enemy for that matter.

I prefer Balloonga, because it is more convenient. One can simply cast it and move away or attack the enemy as the large Balloon floats towards it. On contact, it releases 6 Balloons that act as homing missiles towards one or all targets, if there are any there.

Balloonra is somewhat useful, but there is a huge lag time as the character jumps to attack the clump of 6 Balloons.

Balloon is just a command that summons 6 Balloons that surround the character, it can be used as a shield if need be and is a pretty good beginning command.

  9. Ah a question I think I know the answer to (believe me it does'nt happen often.

Ok so how did axel get his keyblade?(you may like to pull up cutscenes for this)

    1. In one of the first cutscenes of BBS Terra says something like "As long as you wield a keyblade it's bearer you shall be" (something like that)

    2. In ven's story in radiant garden there is a scene where he drops his keyblade (his just so happens to be made of <.< >.> wood) and lea as a kid picks it up for a minute and slices the air with it. I believe that this put with terra's explanation makes it possible.

I however don't know how he suddenly realizes he can wield a keyblade in 3d but this is how it seems that he gets it.

I believe the proper quote is "As long as you have the makings, then it's bearer you shall be."

I take this to mean that anyone who has the makings of a keyblade wielder can become one regardless of the ceremony or not.

  10. I'm not at the point where I battle sora's final boss. But I wanna b for sure about something.

If I defeat sora's final boss, and switch over to riku, will i not b able to play as sora again till I beat the game?

If that is true, does this mean I have to create another save file for sora's side?

    Any answer will help, thanks.

You can choose to keep dropping Sora's story and finish Riku's first (with the aid of Drop-Me-Nots), but I don't know where that will lead you as the intentions of the game is for Riku to end it and I don't think anyone has tried it before. Just try to do what you want to do with Sora's story and then finish his story first.

  11. In Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance, a new system is introduced that shows the different weathers in the game. These different weathers can determine a certain number of things when playing the game and is known as the Forecast System.

Forecast has several features and to keep it simple, I'll divide those special features into key words:

    1. "Weather"

    2. Special Portal

    3. Hidden Effects

    1. "Weather"

During your visits in each world you may notice that certain items drop more or you're having a very tough time defeating Dream Eaters and other enemies. This can be explained through "Weather." When you pause the game during a time when you are not in Flow Motion or around enemies you can clearly see the Forecast on the bottom screen of the DS. On the screen you will see the word FORECAST on the top with the L and R arrows surrounding it left and right respectively. Beneath that there is a picture or a Dream Eater on the Left and the name of the world on the right. I'll get to the Dream Eater later.

On the right side, you should notice the world name, such as The Grid, and under it three boxes with the same or different pictures. Each box shows a type of weather that is occurring or will occur in the following 2 drops. This can be verified by the words NOW and NEXT on the left and middle box respectively. The right, obviously would be LATER, if it did have a label. On to the different types!

    Types of Weathers:

    • Ordinary Day: Just a peaceful, uneventful day. (In other words nothing happens.)
    • Munnystorm: More Munny prizes than usual! (Referring to the Munny Orbs dropped by enemies.)
    • HP Showers: More HP Prizes than usual! (Referring to the HP Orbs dropped by enemies.)
    • Bargain Flurry: Rare items at the shop, plus a 20% discount! (Take advantage of this because of the great deals.)
    • Overcast: Friends and Foes receive a 20% boost in magic. (Self-Explanatory)
    • Treasure Front: More prizes than usual! (Referring to items dropped by enemies.)
    • Risky Winds: Dangerous Drop Speeds and Fearsome Foes! (Drop speed is hastened and enemies are stronger than usual.)
On top of this, each world has its own weather and sometimes could be the same or different from the other worlds. Onto Special Portals!

    2. Special Portals

Now onto the left side. On the left side you should see either a silhouette of a Dream Eater with a question mark in the middle or a Dream Eater with it's name right under it with the word DONE! in the middle. Obviously, if it is a silhouette, you have yet to finish this portal and if shows the Dream Eater you have completed it once before. Near the bottom right of this picture there is an arrow pointing to the Nightmare Sigil with a description of the certain Dream Eater followed by the word "sighted!" For example, a KO Kabuto's description would be "Deft deadeye sighted!" Directly underneath this is a Star with the special prize it comes with by completing the objective of the portal. With the method of the "Weather" from the previous section, you can also discover the next Special Portals and the Dream Eaters appearing in these portals for the next two drops.

    3. Hidden Effects

On top of all of this there are more effects that appear nowhere in the bottom screen. There are two effects that I have noticed, I don't know if there's more, but I think these are very well worth noting.

    First, Creating Spirits:

During the Risky Winds weather, creating higher leveled rank Spirits becomes easier. Risky Winds increase Dream Eater Rank by 1 (if there is a Rank higher than the succeeding one).

Here's the Formula For Creating Spirits:

+ 1 Rank = 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials [or 1x (or 100%) + Risky Winds] = So any A Rank Recipe can produce an S Ranked Spirit.

+ 2 Ranks = 2x (or 200%) Required Materials [or 1.5x (or 150%) + Risky Winds] = So any B Rank Recipe can produce an S Ranked Spirit.

+ 3 Ranks = 3x (or 300%) Required Materials [or 2x (or 200%) + Risky Winds] = So any C Rank Recipe can produce an S Ranked Spirit.

    + 4 Ranks = 5x (or 500%) Required Materials [or 3x (or 300%) + Risky Winds]= So any D Rank Recipe can produce an S Ranked Spirit.

+ 5 Ranks = 5x (or 500%) Required Materials + Risky Winds = So any E ranked Recipe can produce an S Ranked Spirit.

    NOTE:

    • F Rank Recipes can never yield S Ranked Spirits.
    • E Rank requires 5x (or 500%) of the materials, with the addition of Risky Winds weather to produce an S Ranked Spirit.
    • Risky winds also changes the percentage chance of creating a different Spirit in the Manual Creation section (just under the Recipe Creation section).

For a comprehensive version of what Rank becomes another, here is a detailed list on all possible Recipe Creations.

    F Ranked Spirit =

    • F Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials
    E Ranked Spirit =
    • F Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • F Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • E Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials
    D Ranked Spirit =
    • F Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials
    • F Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • E Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • E Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • D Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials
    C Ranked Spirit =
    • F Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials
    • F Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • E Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials
    • E Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • D Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • D Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • C Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials
    B Ranked Spirit =
    • F Rank Recipe + 5x (or 500%) Required Materials
    • F Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • E Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials
    • E Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • D Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials
    • D Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • C Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • C Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • B Rank Recipe +1x (100%) Required Materials
    A Ranked Spirit =
    • F Rank Recipe + 5x (or 500%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • E Rank Recipe + 5x (or 500%) Required Materials
    • E Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • D Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials
    • D Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • C Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials
    • C Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • B Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • B Rank Recipe + 1x(or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • A Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials
    S Ranked Spirit =
    • E Rank Recipe + 5x (or 500%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • D Rank Recipe + 5x (or 500%) Required Materials
    • D Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • C Rank Recipe + 3x (or 300%) Required Materials
    • C Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • B Rank Recipe + 2x (or 200%) Required Materials
    • B Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials + Risky Winds
    • A Rank Recipe + 1.5x (or 150%) Required Materials
    • A Rank Recipe + 1x (or 100%) Required Materials + Risky Winds

And Second, is the Drop Gauge:

During certain types of weather, the Drop Gauge is hastened by a certain amount. Based on my experiences this is what I have concluded.

    DP Decelerator > None > Level 1 > Level 2 > Level 3

    Ordinary Day > 1.0 > 0.8 > 0.6 > 0.4

    Munnystorm > 1.0 > 0.8 > 0.6 > 0.4

    HP Showers > 1.0 > 0.8 > 0.6 > 0.4

    Bargain Flurry > 1.0 > 0.8 > 0.6 > 0.4

    Overcast > 1.3 > 1.0 > 0.8 > 0.6

    Treasure Front > 1.6 > 1.3 > 1.0 > 0.8

    Risky Winds > 2.0 > 1.6 > 1.3 > 1.0

So far these are the only two hidden effects I've seen, I will try to look for more as I play the game and hopefully, won't find anything. In my opinion, these hidden effects such as increased Drop Rates can be very annoying and just disrupt the game play (not including The S-Rank Created Spirits).

I hope some people find this useful as I did.

Also, Thanks again to @swordsaintscoot for the initial correction to "Creating Spirits" section and providing the formula.

  12. Well, I'd like a couple of new bosses like Braig/Xigbar, Master Xehanort and another secret boss, Julius sucks! -.-

And I'd also like Isa/Saïx appear just like Braig/Xigbar: telling Sora what's gonna happen and why are they there again

Ah! And obviously another secret final :3

Usually Secret Bosses to main games reveal the next final boss or plot to the next game. I don't know if Julius is relevant at all, but it could be a clue. Lord Kyroo could also be a clue to a Princess and the Frog World? I might just be analyzing it too much.

  13. This is a guide on the bosses of Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance. The bosses will be listed in order of appearance in each world, starting with Sora first. (I will not be including Dive Bosses.) Hope this helps someone.

A Few Things You Should Know:

    Normal,

This basically means when initially fighting the boss.

    Secret,

And this is fighting the boss via Secret Portal.

    Resistance,

Percentages are the same for Normal and Secret Portal.

    Effective Commands,

Commands that help make the battle easier. If there is a stronger version of the command, such as Fira is to Fire, it also is effective.

    Bosses,

They are marked with a Sigil shaped as a pink Circle and an X through it.

It really doesn't matter what this Dream Eater's stats is, because it's invincible at this moment. I included this because it is the Dream Eater that summons the 3 bosses that Sora fights in a row with no saves in between. Also, Riku does not have any bosses, and it is a pretty short visit.

  14. YMX joins the side of Light. YMX vs. MX would be the ultimate twist. Perfect redemption too, atoning for his mistakes and finishing himself off. How would this be possible? Duhh, Sora touches everyone's heart, he can totally turn YMX good. It would be very ironic, since YMX and the Organization had Sora fall into darkness and then YMX turns to Light.

  15. I currently am looking for every Recipe in Kingdom Hearts 3D. I am well aware that there is an optional way of creating Dream Eaters without recipes, but I would like to have all the recipes. I am pretty sure all the Dream Eaters have recipes, so if anyone could kindly just add what recipes you know how to get to this, I'd be very happy. :]

I'm not sure which ones I'm missing so if anyone could just state any location for any recipe, it would be very helpful.
