The real final boss being someone/something of Light trying to use KH to undo all of MX's Darkness-related damage, but ultimately going too far.

I want the real final boss to be someone/something of Light trying to use KH to undo MX's damage but going too far in desperation to prevent it from happening again. Unless such a betrayal is successful, it serves no purpose other than to reinforce MX's Villain Sue status at the expense of yet another character's credibility.

I still think it should be King Of Pain by Sting & The Police.

Yep, it's time to move on, especially since there's now nothing left to like about MX (At least Leonard Nimoy gave him cool lines and screentime.).

Luxord does need to come back, as does Demyx. Those 2 had the least development out of all the original Org. members---and it was a shame, too, because their personalities and powers were made of win.

Anything short of MX either ending up trapped in some "torment" of his own or dying a completely broken man will make me finally rage-quit the series for good.

Not me---I've been calling it out since 2012: The main villain is way too cheap and depressing, the heroes keep firetrucking up in the long run, and the director badly needs to go to rehab for his retcon addiction.

Once, there was a cheap Villain Sue. He was so cheap that everyone died. The End.

The fact that MX must look invincible no matter what, no matter how many @$$ Pulls and retcons it takes, no matter how many other characters lose credibility as a result, and no matter how many fans' nostalgia turns into Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy.

IMO, the "tyranny of Light" seems far preferable--no demonic entities, shadowy apocalypses, abusive sorcerers, etc. And isn't the Realm Of Light kind of supposed to be Light-heavy anyway? "Eraqus is a bigoted idiot!" No, he's a desperate extremist who frankly has plenty of good reason to be paranoid against Darkness. And while he does make a... less-than-stellar... judgment call about Ven and Terra, he ultimately goes to make up for it by sending his Light into Terra as a preemptive countermeasure against MX's Darkness. "Terra's Heart gets completely engulfed by MX's!" Really? The Heart of the guy whose sheer emotions were strong enough to create the Lingering Will, combined with the Heart of the biggest Light-worshipper of all time... just falls flat in an anticlimactic fashion to the Heart of some self-serving hypocrite who let himself get corrupted by Darkness by being too arrogant to wear his Armor? CHEEEEEEEEEAP!!!

Yes, but ASOD had to eject Riku's Heart first, meaning MX would've had to do the same with Terra's and Eraqus's Hearts first.
