Hahaha even I could come up with something better than LR's ending. In fact I think I did in one topic a while back or something... Yeah, the graphics took a hit in that for some reason. I mean it's not like I didn't enjoy the game. It was worth my money to some extent, as there were some good ideas in it, the battle system was nice, and it had a good soundtrack, but it overall just reeked of wasted potential.

Yeah, someone (I like to think Toriyama) had all the wrong priorities when making the series. Especially with LR. Instead of making it a good storyline, it was just a RAITUNINGU fest to celebrate Toriyama's waifu and her good looks.

Yeah, the XIII series was painfully mediocre for the most part. There were some good moments in them (and perhaps even some great moments too), but they could have been so much better overall. Caius deserved better.

To be fair, calling them heartless isn't "explaining a plot point." It's simply calling them what they are. And the reason 358/2 days didn't reveal Ventus' identity was because his game wasn't even out yet, and the reveal of his connection to the story was designed to be a sort of plot twist. They wanted to keep his identity a mystery. There's no mystery as to what the heartless are. Every KH player has known what the heartless are since Leon so enthusiastically told us in KH1. On top of that, this journal entry didn't exist in English until 2.5 came out, so it would be even more likely that the player knows what a heartless is. I know this doesn't excuse it, but I've noticed some minor inconsistencies with Final Mix only content that's purely because of lazy localization. It's possible that this is just one of those instances and it was correct in the original Japanese BBSFM.

I'd say that it's probably just an oversight by the writers. That being said, the report probably isn't a canon plot element, and it's just something to help the player keep track of what's going on. But yeah, I do see what you're saying. It is weird haha

What I literally do is close my eyes for the 4th part and just randomly hit x after a couple seconds. It's a 50/50 shot

It's been a while since I played, so I don't remember all of them specifically. But I'm pretty sure the frame rate would start stuttering more in parts where the sun is shining and forcing the game to cast more intricate shadows and stuff. It's not unplayable. Not by a long shot. But it's still noticeable

Man, this thread got hostile really quickly. I'd say go for Remastered. I've only played the PS3 version of TLOU (and loved it btw), but from what I hear the remastered version is excellent. That and the PS3 frame rate sometimes chugs like your mom at the bacon buffet. It's not always like that, but go for the PS4 version if you think frame rate dips would bother you

So many gamers these days are such entitled little craprockets. I see everyone complaining about Sony's compensation for the outage, when in reality it's not really that bad at all. Yeesh.
