"So, who do I start shooting fire at?" he asked. "Which one of you is the bad guy?"

Zero came and raised his hands. "So, what am I agreeing to?" he asked.

"Yes," Carte replied.

Alton walked into the forest and heard some noise. He ran up to a clearing and saw Runis assaulting Keita. "Am I interuppting something?" he asked.

"So, let's get this done," Carte said. "You have a plan to sever the arm?"

Carte shrugged. "What no one knows won't kill me," he said. "Besides, the target's a vampire, 9/10 of them are evil. I don't mind killing someone evil. And I could use a little more cash... or a lot. I'm not asking for a fifty-fifty split, just a little, like a twelfth." He punched his hand. "I'm can do this."

"Fine," Carte said, "I'll stand by you, but I still think that there's something fishy here."

"I don't know about this," Carte said, "this seems to...simple. Eazy...cozy." He shook his head. "These things usually lead to betrayal or half-truth, not always in that order."

Alton Garret left Castle Sara with his staff on his back and a book in his bag. 'See ya,' he thought. He'd show them that size didn't matter, that not all heroes used swords. He wanted to find a library so he could look up info on Ragnarok. He walked down the path towards the black forest.

"Well, that's convenient," Carte said. "And just who are you, anyway?"

"Wait, what the heck is happening?" Zero asked. "Which one of you is evil again?"

"Oh," said Carte, "sure.
