  1. Kasumi and Alexander, both triumphant in battle, walked together, an awkwardly silent reconciliation. They glanced at Astro and Eric too, a bit confused. They must've known each other like the two did themselves, but they seemed a bit closer. Alexander was more-so confused, as well, simply because Kasumi actually understood Astro's "Onii-chan." They were brothers....Whatever had just screeched afar didn't again. Joshua's and Yumiko's phones both vibrated simultaneously. Confused, the two flipped their phones:REACH 104FAILURE=ERASUREJust the interpretation of 'erasure' just became more fear to Joshua. Even this, Yumi took lightly. They would be erased if they failed...! All they had to was succeed! Noise began to spawn around....
  2. (I was sure her name was Rija...right?)Noah looked at Robert for a few moments, blankly, but clearly in deep thought. For one, he was never the kind of person to ignore a conversation with someone he didn't hate. He'd continue a conversation, but wouldn't start one. Even so, he kind of expected this to happen again, as most people seem to prefer awkward conversations over awkward silence. Secondly, the question itself was thought-provoking. "...My goal...?" He kept thinking... "To have...a happy ending of my own. Simple as it sounds...it's rather complicated for reasons I'm not exactly comfortable with telling you."Morgan took the quick shove from Derik, not pushing back as most others would at least be tempted to. "If you think you'd be so better off individually...without a group to be with...." She began, emotionlessly, "I'd look forward to seeing you try."
  3. Kasumi smirked sassily. She glanced back at Eric, and rushed the Noise with a quick somersault. She rode its back for a few moments, bringing her arms around its neck and snapping it. The creature roared in agony, falling back wildly, back-first so that Kasumi would be crushed. It fell, and died as it wished, Kasumi under the creature. Another then roared in agony. Kasumi left an afterimage with the first, just as surprised as anyone with her sudden teleportation. She jumped from the second Noise's back, landing back on the ground. "Come on, I know you can fight too!" Kasumi said, seemingly to Astro, but to Alexander who awoke behind him. As his eyes opened, a Noise nearly attacked Astro. Instead, it stood there, from its two legs like a human, frozen in place, practically. It fell with a whimper. "Hm...." Alexander inquired after that, standing beside Astro. The creature roared in agony. With the death of but a single Noise, a distant, small chamber, gave a loud sound of a shatter, and then an intense, demoralizing screech heard throughout all of Shibuya, ending abruptly. From the first of seven chambers, Sonitus had awoken. "The Game...has begun yet again.""...What...was that...?" Joshua stuttered, standing close to Yumi. The inhuman screech struck fear in him....
  4. For more complicated spells that Dante will use, I'll make him chant in Enochian, if that's okay with you.
  5. Joshua smiled, still tiredly, but he couldn't stop glancing back down at the food. "Th-thanks, but go ahead and keep eating. I- I'll get my own food." He stammered shyly, purely because there were other people there. All people he had already seen or spoke about a sentence to, but even as a group, not quite comfortable with talking to any except Walter. He looked over the food, taking a plate. "Huh...there is a lot of food...." He whispered to himself. Picky as he is, there were a few things he liked, but really just grabbed some pork and bacon.(Not many awake....) Noah looked at his companions, almost all of them reluctant to speak as he was. Silently, he went on out of his bedroll and to the food. (We should head out as soon as everyone's eaten....) He looked to the other people in the forest with him, (We can't waste much time. I don't even know a thing yet....) He kept thinking to himself, as usual, taking a bit of almost everything and beginning to eat. The thing he craved over anything was just memory...at least...one simple memory."What on Earth are you doing?" Morgan inquired, standing right beside Derik in mere moments of him not noticing. "I can speak quite a bit of probably the least-known or least-spoken language there is, and I fail to comprehend what you're saying. Or doing, for that matter...." She was rather serious in expression, going to go and get food once she's gotten answers.
  6. "I suppose so...but really anyone get it and be just as powerful, if not more-so than Trevor. I suppose that's a bit of an...interesting concept...." Morgan sighed. "I'm curious to see what we all have planned this Game, though, including him, and Isaac."Noah reached his hand up with his shadow, seeing the tattoo he bore with it. A tattoo...right...? It moved, as a timer, just now feeling a vibration in his pocket. He was confused...but still silent. He flipped his phone and read the text.Slowly, Kasumi, awoke. She stood, startled a slight bit seeing Astro right next to her, but shrugged it off, as he seemed a bit harmless. Even so, she felt a bit...strange. Different. "Hey," She started, to Astro, "Know where we are?" She asked this rather nonchalantly, considering she knew of her own death not long ago. She looked around for Alexander as well, spotting him ahead but waiting for the boy to reply.
  7. "My God is your's as well, Atlas." Morgan pointed out, looking down upon Shibuya. She smirked, "I am curious, however, as to what way said God has while looking at you." She remarked a bit magnanimously, her rapier sheathed into its black scabbard as she awaited the Players' awakening. "Be sure to remember we still rule over the Noise...no 'Sound' will disrupt that fact. Make sure of it this Game." She said after Trevor had already left. She glared back at him, and then back to Atlas. "Remind me how he became even a consideration for the 'top reaper'...." She sighed. Atlas and Trevor bickered somewhat frequently. One could imagine Atlas and Trevor as children when with them for long enough, as Morgan was.Noah was of the first to awaken. His eyes opened, and at that moment, his shadow erupted as a pillar of darkness, before slowly dissolving back into its normal form. Curiously, he could feel it-- his shadow. A part of him...."Wake up already, aren't you already too old for mid-day naps?" Yumiko laughed, nudging Joshua awake. His eyes lit with disbelief, but with joy.
  8. "...What...?" Joshua replied drowsily, waking up from his second sleep by someone exclaiming 'liver pork.' Liver pork, of all things...liver pork. He slowly trudged himself to the others from bed, mostly because of the delicious smell of food. "Huh...Walter...what is there to eat...?"
  9. Team: Sound Name: Sonitus Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: Sonitus was the second of the insectoid Noise to rise as an intellectual being, and was the founder of the group in which contains the seven intelligent Noise within the Sound. One-by-one, "he" has gathered any coming superior Noise to this collective group, as well as Vox-- the first in which who was born as the others were. How they died (Player): Power: Sonitus has the power of telepathy only to his brethren of the Noise-- both insectoids and the other, bestial creatures. He can also emit a dreadful screech strong enough to cause a human's ears to bleed, and can use telekinesis only to the extent of what he can physically carry. In addition, Sonitus can dash or glide with blazing speed. Appearance: As an insectoid-- an insect the size of, or a bit larger than humans, Sonitus' body consists of the regulars-- a mantis body and scythe-like arms, the exoskeleton of an enlarged dung beetle, the wings of a mosquito, and the antennas of an ant. His body is a color of a dark yellow hue, his face slightly orange and eyes beady. "He" is also hiding another part of his species in secret. Sonitus is clad in purple and red armor-like equipment, and carries a golden rapier into battle. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "You fail to see the REAL enemy here, now don't you?" Team: Sound Name: Vox Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The first of the intellectual insectoid Noise to ever awaken, and the second member of the group pertaining such. Vox was the most intelligent of all, and possibly of the strongest. "He" conceived the ideas of religion for all of Sound to one day follow, "he" is the one whom influences the actions of all Noise who harken to his call-- "he" is the voice that beckons noise and sound. How they died (Player): Power: Incredibly powerful telepathy over all races, to the point that he could drive someone mad with "whispers" of the corrupted and the insane. In addition, Vox has limited control over light and darkness, able to switch a certain amount of space between the two like night and days. Vox can also use electrical 'magic' to his advantage. Lastly, Vox can completely dominate the mind of a lesser Noise to his bidding, as a pet. Appearance: With the usual mantis, ant, mosquito, and beetle setup as Sonitus, Vox also has a wasp in him-- concealing a deadly stinger. His mantis body is mostly a strange purple while having sturdy green shoulderpads before going down as a dark purple drape behind him and a frontal green chestpiece. Vox hides two daggers with him in battle. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "Perhaps you didn't expect such a...contingency. You underestimate us. Surely, you could never outwit the voice of the Gods." Team: Sound Name: Lugeo Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The sixth of the insectoid Noise. How they died (Player): Power: Lugeo controls that of water and ice, and can, to an extent, manipulate the blood of "his" self, a human, or a non-insectoid Noise. Regarding the manipulation of blood, Lugeo can alter the direction of bloodflow, force certain limbs to move, and harden or loosen blood. Appearance: Disregarding the normalities of an insectoid Noise, Lugeo has a tail as a scorpion has it's stinger, able to jolt itself into prey and inject possibly lethal venom. "He" has a purple body and is draped in a blue cloak from his shoulderpads and a blue chestpiece not made to be all too strong, but protects without forcing much weight. The cloak shrouds the venomous stinger. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "Your tears are saddening, but the world is unaffected." Team: Sound Name: Cantus Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The fifth of the insectoid Noise. Upon awakening, Cantus was the first to be directly envied by other Noise, and attacks after his birth resulted in his blindness. How they died (Player): Power: "His" vision dulled to blindness, Cantus' other senses, as all insectoids were heightened, but his were far beyond than that of any others. "He" can sense quite a lot of living beings in senses that may not even exist to humans. Cantus is also dominant over the element of wind and can use it to enhance himself or allies with graceful speed, or bring it upon the enemies with deadly cyclones. Cantus also has the ability to rejuvenate any wounds of himself or his allies. Appearance: While of course consisting of the mantis, beetle, ant, and mosquito as all, Cantus strangely has the ability to become translucent or even transparent to his will, blending in with anything he deems necessary. Cantus usually has a yellow-orange colored body. "He" carries a crossbow and dagger into battle. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "The abilities in which you lack are oh so poorly recuperated-- an expectation of such indolent creatures." Team: Sound Name: Clarus Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The fourth of insectoid Noise. How they died (Player): Power: Clarus has control over earthen or metallic elements and can even use polarity to manipulate another's weapon, depending on the material it is made of. Being part cicada, Clarus can also screech a variety of irritating buzzes, rattling, and other sounds that will attract the attention of all Noise within an incredibly large proximity. Appearance: Clarus' mantis-body is yellow-orange as with most others, but his mouth is that of an arachnid-like pincer, strangely. His beetle exoskeleton is significantly stronger than the others', and his wings are larger. Clarus has purple armor and brings with him a golden claymore sword into the battlefield. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "I'm sure you'd like to go back to your conscious world, where we are not, and where you may actually be of the superior races. Just know that now, you are not." Team: Sound Name: Otium Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The third of the insectoid Noise. How they died (Player): Power: Otium controls fire-- the color of it represented by its heat, from red to yellow to green to white and finally, blue. Like Cantus, Otium also has the extra ability to become translucent or transparent to hide from foes. Like Vox as well, Otium can manipulate the minds of lesser Noise. In addition, Otium has an exceptional sense of vision and hearing, but smell, taste, and touch seem almost lost to him. Appearance: Otium is often cloaked without any actual armor, but his body is as a dark green mantis'. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "Ignorance blinds what you are truly doing, but arrogance influences you into actually doing so." Team: Sound Name: Quirito Age: ??? Gender: ??? Bio: The seventh, and current last of insectoid Noise. How they died (Player): Power: Quirito is part cicada as Clarus is, letting him screech sounds to attract the attention of Noise, torture a human, or even just annoy anything. His speed is incredibly great, able to zoom exceptional distances without any fatigue. Appearance: The youngest of the insectoid Noise, Quirito is exceptionally smaller, but is no less weaker. His small size also enables more swiftness during flight. His mantis body is a dark blue, wearing lightweight yellow armor, and carrying a scythe into battle. His beetle exoskeleton and ant antennae are stronger for his current size, as well as his mosquito wings. "He", however, also has the capabilities of the mosquito to drain another's blood for his benefit. Plans/Motivation: Unknown Quote (Something your character might say): "I am no less than that of my brethren, while you and even them may think so. Be wary not to underestimate your OWN allies, as well! They might just stab your back." Team: Player Name: Alexander Davis Age: 15 Gender: Male Bio: Alexander chooses not to share his past with anyone-- one would have to be incredibly close to him. How they died (Player): Shot in place of another. That other died with him soon after. Power: Able to enable/disable one of the five senses from another being (for a set period of time) and has limited blood manipulation. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: Nothing. Alexander doesn't care whether he wins or loses-- he's supposed to be dead. Quote (Something your character might say): "Don't expect any miracles to happen. They never do." Team: Player Name: Noah Himitsu Age: 14 Gender: Male Bio: Noah never really had too difficult of a life, but he clung onto an endless stream of secrets. Because of some of them, Noah realized he wouldn't be getting a happy ending for himself no matter how hard he tried-- it was different for him, in some ways. How they died (Player): Hung. Power: Noah has the ability to form, manipulate, and bring shadows into the real realm, hardening them into carbon and perplexing it's form however he wishes. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: To have his own happy ending. Perhaps that is impossible.... Quote (Something your character might say): "Why take my time to worship a God, when that God never does anything for me in return?" Team: Player Name: Kasumi Nazo Age: 15 Gender: Female Bio: Kasumi was an old friend of Alexander's-- one of very few. Even she gets quickly irritated by him, but manages to out up with him anyway, and tries to get him to converse with other people. How they died (Player): Stabbed and shot. Power: Kasumi can teleport short distances, leaving behind an afterimage and increasing her speed for a few seconds. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: To get herself and Alexander back into life Quote (Something your character might say): "Not everyone's so bad. Just a lot of them are." Team: Reaper Name: Morgan Etiam Vinctum Age: 24 Gender: Female Bio: Morgan was raised by an incredibly religious family, and once they were out of the way, Morgan took it to extreme measures. Like ant childhood myth, God was never proven to her, and she decided to prove it herself. When her attempts at continuous virtue and sin failed, death was the only way to see. Even if she went to Hell, then Heaven would surely exist. Instead, she came to one of The Reapers' Game. She evidently won, and later became a Reaper, now seeing that the humans might still have their beliefs with God, and she was still determined to prove them right. How they died (Player): Power: Can control fire and darkness-- and is able to form transparent barriers to her will. While none can strike past the barriers, she can't either. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: To prove the existence of God. Quote (Something your character might say): "I am not only a paragon of virtue-- but a paragon of sin. I am perfect." Team: Reaper Name: Lira Livius Age: ??? Gender: Female Bio: How Lira became a Reaper, and for how long is unknown, even her real, or original appearance is unknown, as she shifts main appearances every so often. How they died (Player): Power: Able to take upon the appearance of another by will, and can read through the memories of others. Can also create illusions strong enough to make people think that they're in actual danger, making their bodies feel pain that isn't real Appearance: Plans/Motivation: Quote (Something your character might say): "You're one sad creature. Even you might not know everything about your own death, but I do!" Team: Reaper Name: Isaac Ghiral Age: 37 Gender: Male Bio: Bullied in his earlier childhood, Isaac grew through to his middle school where he became the real bully. His father being a neglectful and constantly working biologist/kinesiologist, and his mother a psychologist/sociologist, Isaac naturally developed being in the sciences. At the age of thirteen, he decided to conduct an experiment. One involving life, as well as his mentality and sense of mind. He took his pet cat down to his father's lab, and killed it. Instantly. He then hid the carcass, burying it behind a schoolyard. He became addicted, like a drug. He killed a bird. Then a dog. The next day, after dinner, his father left for his night-shift. When he came back, he came to see Isaac, cradling himself constantly with a laughter, wearing a lab coat bloodied with the redness of his mother. Next was his father. Both of them gone, Isaac decided to go further along. He dissected them, flaying off their skin and testing the durability of their bones, and what places in the body caused the most bloodshed. He became addicted again, practically obsessive over it. Later sentenced and on Death Row, Isaac was chosen for the Reapers' Game. He won, and was able to become a Reaper himself, now awaiting the chosen experimental subjects to be taken from their world and into his-- to be the subject of death and rebirth-- death, rebirth, and death once more. There was no death awaiting Isaac, himself, not anymore. Throughout his time in undeath, he had experimented on himself innumerable times, his body visually normal, but able to bend and twist unnaturally, if not more than just that. How they died (Player): Power: Biokinesis-- can control the body of another, or of oneself. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: Comprehension of life and death, as well as being the one to experiment on others' living bodies Quote (Something your character might say): "Your world, and all of its inhabitants are mere test subjects in a waiting line. A few get to be experimented on, here. That, of course, does include myself...." Team: Reaper Name: Dante Enoch Age: ??? Gender: Male Bio: ??? How they died (Player): Power: Can summon special "angelic" and "demonic" Noise to his bidding, and can manipulate already existing elements in various ways. Appearance: Plans/Motivation: ??? Quote (Something your character might say): "Too vague it is to be of just 'light' or 'darkness.' For you can be that radiant source in which light comes from, or the mirror that reflects it. You can be the darkness itself-- or merely one who tries to be ridden of light." Team: Player Name: Joshua Akira Age: 11 Gender: Male Bio: Never hated, never ridiculed, never neglected, never abused...but loved. Joshua did not begin with nothing, but with everything he needed, most of what he wanted-- all slowly going away. Intelligent for his age, Joshua even skipped a few grades, and would probably make wiser decisions than about any other person-- if he listened to his strong sense of reason. Instead, his emotions dominate. He was always friendly, but shy and soft-spoken. A good friend, but bad at making friends. They would have to make him a friend, which was easy, but surprisingly rare. Most people just didn't seem to care, seeing him alone or anything. One did, at least, Yumiko. He and she became close friends. She was the only reason left to live after his parents. But they all seemed to have left him. He followed.... How they died (Player): Suicide [by unknown ways] Power: Healing and hydrokinesis [water manipulation] Appearance: Plans/Motivation: To come back to life, but only if his friends do too. Their lives come before his. Quote (Something your character might say): "I...might not want my life...but other people want me to have it...." Team: Player Name: Yumiko Mori Age: 14 Gender: Female Bio: Yumiko, or "Yumi," lived a surprisingly uneventful life. She went to school and grew up regularly, usually pretty cheery and upbeat. She met Joshua not that long ago, just about two years ago. She had noticed he was alone once, and continued with her regular day. Over the next week or so, she saw that he was always alone, and left her friends that day and spent it with him. They teased her for befriending the young kid, nine years old at the time, but it was nothing Yumi couldn't handle. They had been good friends since, even spending time together when Yumi was...sick. How they died (Player): Sickness Power: Able to shoot lightning like an arrow Appearance: Plans/Motivation: To get Joshua back alive, and herself Quote (Something your character might say): "How can you be sad when this is just a chance to be happy again?"
  10. Wow, really interesting and nice map! May I ask what you used to make it? And if the citizens of the world are really sick of mountains
  11. "There is two." Noah stated, rather abruptly looking into the direction of them. "Both in the same place. A pair of a Key Keeper and Biblioprincess are usually there...but they're not. Others are." They were somewhat far from the place, but it was the closest two Phantom Books, anyway.Dante could still see that grotesque sight with Gluttony in his eyes. He merely shrugged off the thought, as nothing. Apparently Hiro wasn't too nonchalant about it, however. "If you are conversing in regards to the fact that Gluttony ripped its own stomach with its ribcage, that actually was not of my volition. It took me by surprise, as well." He continued off and opened the door for Hiro before going out himself. "The others seem to be out against Phantom Books as well...I can feel them being decimated one-by-one. Even so, there are a few on this side of town."We'd probably still be here if it weren't for Joshua, actually." Margaret stated bluntly, going into the restroom cabinets of Dante's home in hopes to find a kit for medical aid or something. He had some, even if he didn't need them-- that was natural for Dante. After a bit of rummaging, she found one and started with Joshua. He was asleep, after all, and it'd be worse to let him wake up before.
  12. YES ABSOLUTELY PERFECT Please do. In the meantime, more children!
  13. Hm...I wonder what this RP is about. I haven't talked here in awhile, sort of.... Also, I found the two absolute most adorable cosplays. Freaking. Ever.
  14. Joshua's blue eyes widened from closed, jumping up from bed. "Walter...." he sighed and complaint, rubbing his eyes, "Don't wake me up so suddenly...!" He smiled. "I actually had a good dream...I hope...I can have another...." he lied back down, slowly closing his eyes, trying to sleep again.
  15. Uh...this kind of died at the end of 2012.
  16. ASDFGHJKL Blake's, Yang's, Penny's, and Sun's are the best
  17. Two RP concerns:1. The fight is taking rather long and I'd be willing to wager that others will as well. Remember that it's okay to lose, people2. The forest group is just about nothing, only a few post and mine never really have a reason to so far
  18. "Not a single one...." Noah sighed, continuing off in hopes to find another Phantom Book's presence. He could feel two...very slightly. Both in the same place.Dante beckoned Hiro to follow him out of the house. While it smelled of rotten, half-eaten food and other hoarded stenches before, it now had a bit of burnt ash and sulfur to it. The body of Gluttony burned along with the Phantom Book. "Would you rather my show end with both protagonists dead?" Dante remarked, a bit coldly, but not meaning to. "...What troubles you?""I guess so, but Dante's not here and probably won't be for awhile. He should learn to deal with just this but I don't expect him to look at Dante or even Hiro in the eye ever again." Margaret seemed to have a bit of irritation as well, but not clear as to what. "We will," She responded, taking Joshua again. With her free left hand, easily pick-locking the gate and door.
  19. I'm a pessimist as well. But look on the bright side! Oh.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcfJBRCBWKc
  21. I think it may very well show you true awe of boss battles
  22. Have you played Bayonetta, out of curiosity?
  23. Mifune vs KakashiIt's nonexistent and I already love it
