  1. ... Why are you so pressed on characters who cannot canonically dual wield being able too. Never before, to my knowledge, has anyone refered to a keyblade by its chain kingdom key or otherwise, except the x-blade, but that's a natural phenomenon rather than keyblade of man's heart. Yes keychains, IN A SENSE, are canon. Roxas's dual wielding transformation in 358, and kairi giving sora the oathkeeper charm both disproves and proves this, keychains do not have to be physical, just a really powerful memory could transform the keyblade( seeing as the oathkeeper charm was with sora when Roxas gained the blade). Now with the kingdom key d turning into star seeker, I only have one theory that can support the reasoning behind this. All keyblades start out as KK or KKD as it is the most basic of all keyblades, the exception to the rule is Riku, as far as we know, but after certain amount of usage of the keyblade, it melds to the personality of the user, resulting in their most basic keyblade seen ingame. The only way this theory could be wrong is because sora, Roxas, and xion were never meant to be keyblade wielders so that is why they start of with the most basic form, to show off their limitless potential. But if my theory is true, then in conjunction with the reason why sora "resets" each game due to either memory loss or training, Mickey, due to giving up his keyblade from the realm of light in order to wield one from the darkness, had to "imprint" his personality and memories into the new blade which would explain why he gets star seeker back later, though its only a theory... A game theory (couldn't resist) also, keyblades have been implied to be somewhat sentient so it would make sense to imprint new memories into a new blade.
  2. This is where the ultimanias become your best friend, nomura has gone on record to say that Sora's ability to dual wield is because of ven's heart. And I am basing sora lending Riku oblivion based on the opening in 3d. And foremost, i have already explained that sora and mickey share the keyblade star seeker because of their shared experience of meeting Yen Sid. playing as secret characters is completely different from giving people non-canon abilities. Though I guess that can be reversed *shudderss* mecha-naruto
  3. He does not "have" oblivion he borrowed it from Roxas during their duel and from sora during their fight with xemnas, nothing more nothing less.
  4. Keyboards are formed from the memories of its user, those memories take on a physical manifestation in the form of keychains, when two users share the same keyblade (such as TVA BBS) it's because they had a similar experience resulting in similar blades. Sora gained star seeker after meeting yen Sid,... Do you want to know who else met yen Sid...MICKEY MOUSE!!! Riku technically can/cannot duel wield, he has another heart of a keyblade wielded within him (ansem sod) but ansems memories related to the keyblade are sealed (as far as we know), and when he handed destiny a embrace to Kairi, he himself still did not have a keyblade as soul eater is not officially a keyblade, but a medium for a keyblade wielder's power
  5. Just because there are two of something does not make it cool. And this post is full of fail if coming from a KH fan, the entire post is semi-illogical based on the implicit rules given within the series and the explicit given by the director himself.
  6. I'm sorry, but for he past 8 years, "KH fans" have known that the most likely system that KHIII was going to appear on was the PS3 that and FFXIII VS were my ps3 calling card. So there is no excuse as to why they don't have one except "I'm waiting for KH to appear on it before I buy one", ...well it appeared. And not only that, the reasoning behind it going multi platform next gen to begin with is because all of the specs virtually line up meaning that by developing for one system you are developing for another, which wasn't the case last gen because of the PS3 awkward specs that made developing take longer or not be as efficient, which means games that are developed exclusively for the ps3 would take longer to port and the KH team is already spread extremely thin due to ffxv, KH II.5 and KHIII. So if you want to play so badly you can easily save up 140 dollars between now and 2016 and get a ps3. Plus I.5. This petition stuff has got to stop, if you are willing to go this far, just buy a ps3.
  7. Ooo looks like someone didn't get the secret ending.
  8. Your analysis for sora is strong, but I disagree for two reasons. First things first, KH2 Sora fighting style is a complete ripoff of roxas' style, as seen in days where all of roxas' moves are insanely similar to kh2 sora's, and since chronologically within the KH universe Roxas was the first to use these moves, the style belongs to him. This is one of many reasons why roxas can be considered stronger than sora, but that's a different topic. Now since 3d is going out of its way to say that sora will be relearning how to use the keyblade the right way lets look at why he reverts to his kh1 style. In 3d a new idea is introduced, where do those who influence him end and where does sora begin. Since sora based his entire style on roxas' he would have to go back to his original form to find his own way to use the keyblade, and it just might be that in kh3, sora's style just might surpass roxas', it's one of those cases where you have to take a step back in order to take two steps forward.
  9. In the Sora vs Roxas battle in KH II FM, sora can steal both of roxas' keyblades while using his own, so he can technically use three keyblades.
  10. During the development of FF13 the versus team had to send some of their guys over to help finish it, so it did kinda slow down production.
  11. Jesse put a little bit of robin from young justice into his voice acting for Roxas, and Hayden couldn't do voice acting for days so they had to get Alyson stoner or someone to fill in, other than that everyone did a good job, especially Leonard nimoy......."DARKNESSSSS"
  12. The one ff character that would suit this game perfectly is warrior of light from dissidia. Lost memories, excellent moral character, and a.possible boss battle with chaos *drool*
  13. To be honest, the story isn't that convoluted as you are making it appear to be (yes time travel does add difficulty to the story, but if you pay attention the necessary bits are understandable) you can easily make a link consisting of kh1,com,kh2 and see how each "side game" effects these three games or how the three games set up DDD. Heck the chronicles. Detail every game to the points that NEED to be known so new comers can easily catch up, and if they are interested in seeing the game through their own eyes, they can simply buy they games (which are really cheap) or watch a let's play if they are strapped for cash. And I don't see why square should "appease" the casual gamer, if you aren't into KH for the story and characters you should stick to Mario, With the sense of isolation that has been in recent kingdom hearts games, it's all been for the sake of narrative, do you have help from your friends when you are taking tests, and with bbs, that game was about each characters introspection of themselves and how they viewed their friendships with each other, you can't really do that if you are with Your friends 24/7. I don't know how you can expect sora to evolve from his kh2 self, since we have been playing with his kh1 model for the past 5 years, coded: literally a carbon(joke) copy of kh1 sora, since he is pulled straight from the journal of his KH1 journey, DDD: completely strip of his kh2 keyblade know how and is forced to start from scratched, for all we know it's like having a stroke and losing half of your physical ability (I'm exaggerating on that point of course), but to be honest sora's kh2 keyblade ability is completely based on roxas' usage of the key (which can be seen in days), but if flow motion isn't stylish, I don't know what is.
  14. can I get a link to that, but what I was getting at was that there is a certain amount of time that a time traveler can exist outside of their own time without said "anchor", but if there are north in the present then I guess my theory is busted.
  15. Time travel simply confuses me, but I was initially very confused by the organization disappearing after failing to capture sora as a vessel, but then my friend told me about a time travel theory of "anchoring" where you require the version of yourself in the present that you wish to visit, in order to stay there. And since sora as a vessel would have been the present xehanort, all of the other xehanorts would have been able. To exist in that timeline. I'm not to sure on it, but I hope it clears a few things for some people.
  16. Hopefully square learns that releasing games during the summer actually helps sales.
  17. So hypothetically, if there was a female seeker, would we see a female version of master xehanort...to be honest I'm kind of afraid of Square Enix making her attractive.
  18. I don't see how 3d retconded KH2, since when does the big bad not use others to further his own gain?
  19. Would have been pretty hilarious if in BBS aqua was shown to enjoy playing card games, thus implying where the card system came from.
  20. The world that never was is based off of new Orleans architecture
  21. I think you can also spell out " no earth" with his name as well. I'm hoping it's not a coinicedence and that it refers to terra, but it's most likely wishful thinking...
  22. In days, when Rosas went into C.O he collapsed because sora was in the same place as he was, but then again ansem and xemnas are badasses so it probably doesn't effect them as much....or....
  23. I was referring to the true org. Xiii, but either way, xigbar should be higher considering that all the other norts seem to be spread from YMX to MX. Xigbar was with MX since day 1(to be honest with, with the time travel portion of this story I don't even know anymore) he should at least be higher than Ansem SOD since he only performed two known missions, giving YMX time travel and collecting the 7 princesses. The reason I'm upset is because all the frecking missions you went with xigbar in days
  24. Every time we see Xigbar in where nothing gathers he has the lowest seat in the room, the guy has been with MX since, from what I've seen, day one so it doesn't make sense that he is one of the lowest, even YMX is higher than him.
  25. not gonna lie, it's not that much of a hassle seeing as the games themselves are announced at least 2 years before their actual release. If you set aside even 5 dollars a month after the announcement you will have enough for the console, maybe even the game itself. That's what I did at least, before I got a job, after that..."3ds 250$?....BOUGHT"
