I defend one of my fav videogame characters for a year while people constantly beat down on him and the one time I need them to (in a poll against a character I like more) they root for him. God, people make me want to punch things, sometimes

Sorry for spamming your wall today but I noticed you added the bold little thing about perfection in your quote and I just wanted to say, that I like it. To me (and it took me a few years to think this way) imperfections are perfections, in my eyes. Since those're what makes us human and separates us from boring, perfect, characters, works of art, etc.

In some cases they're barely noticeable and they feel kind of cool, I'd stroke them if I had them but I guess for the more extreme cases then I can't blame them for wanting them treated. Those two things are distinct and make you such a beautiful beautiful girl. And yeah! They're nice to me which is odd cause I'm such a dork so I do like them but they're not people I could become very close friends with or see in that way. Ghost repliedI love Dolly Parton because she chose the image she has for herself, looks the way she wants and doesn't care what anybody else thinks. I really don't believe she needed plastic surgery, but if it makes her happy and she could care less what others think, then I find that admirable ^^ Plus she's a good person overall with a voice like a lullaby; if she were a nasty woman I wouldn't like her.

So I ended up home alone at my friends house and I kept hearing the tap inexplicably turn on whenever I switched it off. I set my phone near the kitchen to record it. It turns out it was his cat who learned how to operate the tap. He then taught his sister how to switch on the tap too. WTF? I think they want to drown me.

I'm 100% sure at least half the reason the "don't talk back to your elders" schtick was even thought up was to act as a failsafe for whenever they knew they'd been bested in an argument.
