Kingdom Hearts: Unknown Fate (Role-play)
Gambler'sApprentice replied to The Unversed's topic in Roleplaying
Edmond: Far too trusting, hopefully not all of them are this dull. (Sam): 'Thanks, anything I can do to help?' *If Edmond is pretending to be anyone else, I'll indicate by having the person in parentheses, and their comments separate, hopefully this will avoid confusion as much as possible.* -

Edmond: 'Well then do you mind if I tag along, I mean, I kinda lost control of my ship on the way here, and so it's not usable' Meanswhile I sent a quick message for my ship to direct itself to our standard rendezvous point, to meet up later. -

KH3D Inception confusion

Riku was sealing the worlds in Sora's mind, sort of like memories of the sleeping worlds. As others have pointed out, it's like Data-Sora's joureny through Data-Riku's mind in Coded, he didn't revisit the worlds, he visited them in the others mind, removing the corruption. Most likely sealing the worlds had the same effect for both, removing sleep, either from the worlds or Sora. -

*How in the bloody blazes would you have even the slightest inkling of an idea who I am? this is my first interaction with any of you..* Edmond: 'Edmond, I'm not sure what you're talking about, I'm Sam, I came here hoping to learn how to use a Keyblade, but just after I got here, I was attacked and knocked unconscious by someone in a brown coat. I just came to.' How would he know me, I'm sure I've never seen any of these people before. -

*Sorry, I've been unable to post for a day and a half* Edmond: Well, they seem to have taken no notice of me, and they may lead me to Yen Sid. It's time to get involved. I jumped off the side of the tree and to ground level. 'Hello, is anyone else on this island?' -
Kingdom Hearts: Unknown Fate (Role-play)
Gambler'sApprentice replied to The Unversed's topic in Roleplaying
Edmond: I smirked. I wasn't expecting them to be so open in their history. The armored individual clearly has some training in swordplay, but a formality in combat and classical training means he's less likely to expect atypical techniques. The other one is definitely more skilled, but being self-taught is nearly laughable, especially with such a peculiar weapon as the Keyblade. I started walking down, and noticed a girl in the shade of the trees. I backed up, it looked like the unarmored combatant was intending to head towards her. -
Kingdom Hearts: Unknown Fate (Role-play)
Gambler'sApprentice replied to The Unversed's topic in Roleplaying
Edmond: I was surprised to see an armor-clad figure exit the building, and without a Keyblade. Was this some sort of guardian, or perhaps a challenger? It hardly makes sense to train with Keyblade wielders when one does not have a Keyblade and there are many competent swordsmen throughout the worlds. Dressed for combat, but not acting as if this is in any way unusual, perhaps it is some sort of life-support system, or biological enhancement. A weakness or a useful tool, either way it would be most useful. What is he doing now, surfing? That is an interesting choice, but indicates this is not an enhancement suit, therefore either life-support, or some sort of disguise. As for the other individual, he has a very odd weapon. Rather like a building, and a screen, presently blank. No doubt it has several useful abilities, I wonder if one can take another's Keyblade? I'll wait to see if there's anyone in the building, and talk to him, he seems more easily manipulated and trusting to a fault. What is this, he's attacking the tree? He's surfing too? What is this a training exercise? If so he's clearly no threat, but at least a competent swimmer. -
What if Sora and Riku's roles were switched?
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Nortman919's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
We'd be screwed. Ansem would take over Sora, Sora can't control the darkness, therefore we'd have only Riku, instead of Riku and Sora fighting by KHII, and 3Ds would not have happened. Also Roxas wouldn't exist, Ven would be lost forever, etc. -
Kingdom Hearts: Unknown Fate (Role-play)
Gambler'sApprentice replied to The Unversed's topic in Roleplaying
Edmond: I've finally made it, it has taken some effort to find this world, rather secluded as it is, with little contact with the outside world, yet 4 of these 'Keyblade' wielders have come from there, and every one of them had visited for a short time at least. I wonder if it there is some attribute that calls to them, and if so whether it could be harnesed and manipulated, perhaps inverted to create a shroud around my ship, discouraging its discovery should the wielders be disinclined to assist me. I pull up my notes on the matter, on my recently installed computer. Destiny Islands is a small world, which had been consumed by Darkness almost 2 years ago, and sent to the Realm of Sleep. It was also the stage for part of the final confrontation between Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Sora. The inhabitants were simple, and no threat, and did not appear to have any way to leave the world. Home of Master Xehanort, Master Riku, and Sora. Adopted home of Kairi (Princess of Heart). I identified a secluded spot, the hollow of a large tree on one of the minor islands, and beamed down. Looking down I see 5 people there, as well as some sort of building, possibly holding more. I can recognize Riku and Sora sparring on a smaller island connected by a bridge, and Kairi watching them, though she could be doing something else, her back is to me. The other two also wield strange weapons, presumably Keyblades, but it can be difficult to tell, with the diversity of weapons in the many worlds, and the infinite forms a Keyblade might take. The building clings to the cliff, and looks like it has been designed as an indoor training area, probably expanded into the cliff face. I determine my first priority is to determine if there is anything in the building, and remove a small phial with a wall down the middle of dirt and water from one of my pockets and pour the dirt onto the ground and mix it with some of the water and whisper an enchantment, causing it to form a small squat beetle, and fly towards the building, while I our the remaining water into my had, where it calms, and allows me to look through my golem's eyes. -
Excellent, very well written, one complaint. Saix and Xemnas are the only ones that don't treat her normally, Xigbar makes fun of her, but he does that to everyone, and everyone else is vaguely polite, or as close as they can get (Xaldin)

Methods of Creation (Discussion)
Gambler'sApprentice replied to hawk222's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
Probably more synthesis, meh. That means to get 100% we'll have to find 20,000 of every item. I doubt we'll have as much command freedom in KH3, so melding in't an option, and Dream Eaters (or the equivalent) too. So I would like melding, but suspect synthesis. -
If it had been out years ago it would have made no sense, we wouldn't know anything about what was going on, we'd have this old Xehanort dude, 6 new Keyblade wielders, one of whom looked like Apprentice Xehanort, and the other one could have been Roxas' clone. We'd also miss substantial character development and backstory. I'd love to have KHIII as soon as possible, but only if it makes sense.

The Million Dreams Award was a three-way split between Terra, Aqua and Ventus. All the residents of Disney Town, and who they voted for are as follows. Huey (Ventus) Dewey (Ventus) Louie (Ventus) Horace Horsecollar (Aqua) Chip (Terra) Dale (Terra) Minnie Mouse (Unknown) Daisy Duck (Unknown) Pete (Unknown) We also know Pete received at least one vote, 8 votes amongst 3 people will not result in a three way split. Clearly voter fraud is the reason.

Oswald couldn't even beat Vexen, he doesn't have a prayer against Demyx, and he's not even worth Luxord's time. -

Thou art a fiend, lacking in the simplest of coordination. That boss battle didn't happen. They tried to put it in, but the infinite stupidity of it broke the game and it had to be removed. -
Some MAJOR ideas about KH3!
Gambler'sApprentice replied to Rayo_Rojo's topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
I'd like it if Saîx/Isa was to stop being as much of a horrible person, and patched thing up with Lea, but that doesn't seem likely, and I'm sure there is going to be some sort of epic face-off between the two. I doubt Terra will be one of the lights, because Master Xehanort would have to lose control of Terranort for that to happen, and he already has 7 intended lights. I doubt Vanitas will betray Master Xehanort, because I doubt he's able to, that kid has a lot of issues, and probably views Xehanort as some sort of mentor, as far as he is concerned hi entire reason for existence is the X-Blade. Likely Worlds Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion Olympus Coliseum Twilight Town Traverse Town Mysterious Tower Castle Oblivion/Land of Departure Disney Town/Disney Castle Hawaii (Lilo & Stitch) -

I assume you mean a chance? I don't think any of the Organization members have a change of clothes with them. And if there is anything Luxord owns, it's chance. He has all the chances. -

Well in such a clear cut area I have to correct him, if it were Luxord v. Xigbar it'd just end in a Stalemate, because while Luxord could stop time and defeat Xigbar easily, Xigbar has a ranged advantage, and the ability to warp away his foes. -

Yes, but it fails to address your psychological inability to see Luxord could kick Demyx's arse in .1 seconds flat. -

So remind me why I should take the word of a self-confessed mad man confined to a Sanitarium over the logic that a Master of Time is infinitely more capable than someone who sits around playing with water and music. -
