I think it's lame that there isn't an opening movie, but eh who cares. The physics looks like it's better than Brawl and the most important thing about fighting games is how fun they are.

Yeah I know, but the cheer was most likely just a leftover from development assuming Ice Climbers were probably in the game in the first place (they also got a trophy and the polar bear enemy is in smash run so.... yeah). People have been finding multiple glitches, so I doubt that was intentional.

I think it's more that they overestimated the capabilities of the CPU of the 3DS and not that they were purposefully going out of their way to disappoint. For all we know that's why one of the clones came back as a substitution or something.

Etrian Odyssey is better. Devil Summoner suffers from being an archaic game stuck in the 90s era of game design with a lot of backtracking. It's ok, but EO is much better.

I've only played the first one and the Professor Layton crossover and watched playthroughs of the two other games in the original trilogy, but they're all pretty good from what I've seen.

Reading this exquisite piece of literature all the way through for the first time, I gotta say wheeeeeeew it was a roller coaster ride from start to finish. It definitely had a strong start with Snow and a strong finale, albeit it got pretty heavy (not that I don't understand why it wasn't full of humor outside of one snide comment about a certain character's drug habits). It was a very satisfying ending at least, and I can't wait to read act 2 whenever you can get around to writing it.The only criticism I can really say is that the middle section (well, really most of it - like from chapters 4 to just before the 3-part finale) is really muddled down with way too many characters and plotlines and subplots and subsubplots... like I found myself having to reread sections because I forgot who did what and stuff like that. Obviously that problem is rectified now that pretty much half of the cast is killed off and everyone's together, but still just a heads up. It was just a bit jarring how many jumps there were during chapters. Again, not that the writing is bad or anything, the pacing is just kind of a bit all over the place.

I'll pick it up eventually. I hardly ever buy games right when they're released, and I'm already saving that money for ORAS and Smash Bros.

I am still amazed they haven't added Dixie Kong as a character. Imagine being able to use all of those hair-whipping moves.
