  1. While I'm sure that Microsoft had their employees do that on purpose, I think it would've been odd if the press had been cheering with them as they're there to try to be neutral and report. To me the "manufacturing of enthusiasm" at these events is standard practice, and less offensive than some of the Xbox One's announced "features". I think at this point I'm starting to feel a little sorry for Microsoft's PR.
  2. Yep, I run in the mornings and have been getting back into my Wii Fit routine.
  3. Just from looking at them...the Xbox One's controller. But that's the only thing Microsoft made me interested in yesterday.
  4. lol, love that one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=FMqPvn549ak So far this is my favorite parody. It felt eerily accurate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=KOxdMQhDMIU This one is pretty great too.
  5. Hahah, nice. I'll take the DVD please. Honestly, I really don't like the new design. It looks too boxy, too plain, and lacks the identity I thought the other Xboxes (Xboxi?) had. I'm really hoping the PS4 looks a little more distinctive.
  6. It's an invention that has altered the course of human history. It gives every person a microphone and the ability to shout too much. It's all information in a digital, primordial ooze that will produce something we can't even fathom right now. It's companies and corporations taking away freedoms you used to have in the name of "personalizing" your experience, selling you codes and digital content that doesn't physically exist. It's made the barriers of communication, socialization, and activism trivial, allowing people to look across the globe and affect what happens there. The internet is raw potential, corruptible and unifying and the first of its kind. Also there's quite a lot of pornography.
  7. The Saboteur. It's a bit of GTA mixed with Assassin's Creed set in WWII Paris. I didn't enjoy it at first, but it really grew on me. It's probably cheap by now too. Also try the demos for God of War, there's a couple I think. It's top action and the games have been genre defining, but they're super violent. I personally love them.
  8. I really couldn't care less if EA developed games for the Wii U. If I ever get a Wii U it sure as heck won't be to play non-Nintendo games.
  9. My initial impression was more positive until I heard the details about the daily online requirement and anti-used games policy. Actually, it's not even really anti-used games so much as it's anti-sharing. With anyone. Even for a bit. It sucks, it's the wrong direction for gaming, and I pray Sony doesn't do something similar. Comparing their presentation to Sony's, Microsoft's reveal felt more like an obligation than a celebration. Also, instead of neutralizing the negativity around the system, they seemed to have embraced it; the media centric focus, the online/used game crap, the absence of a strong lineup of titles all contributed to the feeling that they're making a machine and don't really care what the gamer thinks of it.
  10. Physically, sure, but I wouldn't enjoy it.
  11. Fair point imo. Doesn't make it any better, but since we weren't supposed to get Coded in any form it's better than nothing.
  12. Sports games. Not really wild about horror either.
  13. Tropes on tropes on tropes.
  14. If I had a 3DS I would certainly get it, the game is looking great so far. My console fund is tied up in next gen dreams right now.
  15. I'm interested, but also prepared to be underwhelmed.
  16. (oops, didn't understand the nature of the question at first, my bad) Edit: I want a more mature Sora that, while still good hearted, isn't completely oblivious.
  17. Hmmm. I'm going to chalk this one up to 'magic'.
  18. Ye gods, there are a lot of Pokemon now. The never used list is bigger than most regions! Altaria, Lapras, and Marowak are mine.
  19. I don't want to be a downer, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for new characters in All-Stars. The company that made the game has been significantly downsized and I think is working on other stuff. To be honest I think he would stand out in both games, and not in a great way. He's an original character but the Kingdom Hearts series is founded on a crossover. His presence would drag one crossover (KH) into another (PSAS/SSB) and ultimately be jarring. All that said, I would certainly play as him in either, haha.
  20. I really loved BBS's systems, with KHII's making my second most preferred. Also, I would suggest altering the answer for 358/2 Days to be "Did you prefer Days' limits and panel system", seeing as how the poll is asking about the progression and ability systems of each game. "Mission mode" was kind of a different thing.
  21. Earlier, went to go water the garden.
  22. I see what you did there.
  23. Never edited, but I use Wikipedia and wikias pretty frequently.
  24. You can embody the traits of a good Christian without being intolerant and oppressive of other demographics, let alone other Christians. The pink person is a tool.
