so do u guys use the c-stick or A button for smash attacks in smash bros? i use the Abutton but im trying to switch to the c-stick.
WakingDawn96 repliedI use the c-stick on the GameCube and Wii Classic Controller, but for since I played the 3DS version a lot before the Wii U version came out, I tend to lean towards using the a button on the Wii U gamepad.
Jilly Shears repliedI use either or, really. I like using the c-stick for aerials tho since you don't have to move in order to execute them.

i guarantee that the shulk amiibo is going to go rare almost immediately. so i want to pre order it. gamestop exclusive tho.

amiibo adapt to your playstyle as they level up. does this mean they stop adapting when they it max (lv. 50) ? or do they keep adapting?

i can only imagine how much some amiibo will go for in a few years or maybe even months. its painful to not be able to buy them when they are cheapest. (now) but nevertheless im happy with the ones i have.

really? the marth amiibo is ALREADY rare!? i knew this would happen. -_-

well, smash bros is the best wii u game by far so far. not 3ds tho. im still waiting for something to top kid icarus uprising.
Sorual repliedi guess i like smash because competition is something that i absolutly adore. i love everything about competition (as long as people are good sports about it tho
) and smash bros seems to have the most of it in a video game along with street fighter. but smash is more fun to me and features my favorite characters so yeah.
Sorual repliedi say that it be the next game you buy when you get one because i freaking love it! i say play it with other people because thats the way to enjoy smash. but if you want the GCN adapters then you will pay a hefty price. i was one of the lucky few that got one new on release for 20 dollars. if you like the GCN controller then the best option if you want to save money is to get one of those GCN classic controllers.

Yup. Amiibo Kirby beat 7 lv. 9 CPUs multiple times. Wow!
Sorual repliedthe in game CPUs are stuck with set difficulties (lv. 1 - 9) amiibos are the only ones that gradually grow stronger (up to lv. 50 O.o) and i think i heard that they adapt and strategize to other people's play styles after fighting them multiple times.
Ruby Rose repliedAt least they make it more worth buying them not only for the figure but also the exclusive strength they have too
Hope you continue to enjoy it!

does anyone else have this gribe with the gamecube controller for smash bros? the presure sensative triggers. sometimes i just want to shield and it would feel a lot better if the triggers were digital. i still LOVE the GCN controller but thats my 1 gribe for smash bros.

i just found out that there was a second gamecube styled fight pad other than the one by PDP. its made by hori and is called the battle pad. it actually seems better to me!

do you guys think it would be a good idea to start a petition for nintendo to make more gamecube controller adapters? or will that be wrong because of the PDP fight pads?
Sorual repliedi dot think its that simple. i think that they only made the adapters to please the extreame veterans and produced the fight pad on a much bigger scale to be the main source of the GCN experience. the problem with that is that it is wireless which i found no fault in but people say that it will lead to a slight input lag (which is not tollerable in competative play) i never experienced such input lag tho.
Shulk repliedI can see what you mean, but I don't think they're only going to target such a small fanbase with these. Especially considering their popularity, I'm sure they'll make another set of them.
Sorual repliedi hope so. seeing those prices makes me feel scared to break or lose mine.
but the fight pads still lok awesome tho!

I just saw the prices of the gamecube controller adapters on ebay. O.o i am SO glad i got 1 at launch!

i know someone that kicks butt in smash bros with a side-ways wiimote!
Sorual repliedbut i am glad that nintendo came out with the fight pads so people who arent as lucky can play.
plus, maybe their going to reprint the adapters.
Shulk repliedYeah, the prices for the adapters are insane. I also heard some Gamestops literally only got 2 or 3 adapters because Nintendo made so few.
I really hope they'll make more, so I can get one. I'm fine with the Gamepad, but I have a lot of friends who only like to use the Gamecube controller.
Sorual repliedi can believe that. n fact, when i went to get mine, they didnt have any in stock. but scince i pre ordered it they had to get me one so they got more a few hour later.

Smash Bros online mode works better on 3DS than it does on Wii U. Wow! That should be backwards.
Dio Brando repliedIt depends both on your connection and other's connections. It's not the game's fault that people's connections vary
Sorual repliedyour right about its not the game's fault. although i still feel that it could be slightly improved with a patch. not knocking sora ltd tho. they did an outstanding job with the game and i think it was worth the money and then some for just that. i play smash for local anyway.
and again, i do hope that it is just my connection. then the game would go from 99.99999% perfect to 100%
