I think the case is kind of a mix??? Like, it depends on HOW they die. If it's a natural means (old age, fire, drowning, exsanguination[blood loss], asphxiation, etc.) then they just get reincarnated. The light goes on to someone who has a pure and bright enough light to take on the weight and the universe isn't in peril or anything. If it's a supernatural means of death (Heartless, consumed by darkness, Keyblade, etc.) then the light is snuffed. Since Xehanort or any of his buddies can deifnitely cause a supernatural means of death, the Princesses of Heart definitely need to be protected. Once the threat is over everyone can relax until the next big threat raises its head. But honestly why are we even talking about this no way they'd kill off a disney princess. ... right? oh jeez Kai ain't a disney princess I'm worried now

generally Square keeps the worlds to the minimum of the main cast or the most recognizable characters. NPCs or side characters are few and far between. Why they do this? I have no clue, but I'm presuming money issues.

In a very weird and roundabout way: When I was little the game came out, and I saw the commercials and really liked the concept. I dropped it after a bit because my family didn't have a PS2. Later in 5th grade I bought the first two volumes of the KH1 manga, remembering the series, then kinda dropped it again. Sixth grade and the release of 358/2 Days prompted me to look it up, I found the wiki, and overnight I became a VERY devoted fan.

Okay so Roxas, Axel/Lea, Xion, Namine, King Mickey, Yen Sid, Ansem the Wise, Donald, Goofy, every stinking incarnation of Xehanort and Organization XIII, and all of the Disney cast Sora had met so far are cool with it? remember hon there's a lot of KH cast members :tongue: However, yeah, yaoi shippers are placated.

So has anyone else here heard of that really freaking small crackship of Sora and Xehanort (the young version from DDD)? If so, opinions? Do ya ship it? Can it even work out under the right circumstances??? If you haven't heard of it yet, well congrats you've heard of it now so answer the other questions. (noodles away to let the friendly debate spark up)

Weird, I thought this wasn't exactly connected to the main series besides just being set in the early days of Keyblade wielding, and wasn't going to have significance to the plot.Oh well, I await this mysterious passage anyways. KH3 news is KH3 news, after all.

DiZ I can understand since they couldn't keep Christopher Lee, But Namine has her KH2 voice actress, and Kairi's (if she even has any lines in Days) is off of KH1 dialogue.

Well I personally think that if they die via natural means (E.G. old age, wounds, drowning, asphyxiation etc. anything that ain't a keyblade or Heartless pretty much) the light transfers to another, and thus the lineage carries on.
