I honestly agree with you one hundred percent. I hate when games get milked out for too long and it loses the merit that it had in its prime. I hope they end it with this, even though they most likely won't.

I believe the "cliffhanger" they are referring to is the bottle from the king which has already been revealed to us.

Here's a rather odd twist involving the PS4, it'll be $50 cheaper than the Xbox One. That's kind of shocking considering I remember the PS3 costed close to $600 when it was first released while the 360 was around $300 if my memory is not mistaking me. The PS4 is apparently going to "most likely" be priced at $350 while the Xbox One will be $400. Based off their track record and the probable range of release dates for KH3, I'm believing the exclusivity of PS4.

When I was reading the article, I got hopeful that it would be true but honestly I just DON'T see it. They MAY announce KH 2.5 but since they haven't even started development for KH3 it's doubtful that it will be announced. But, I can still hope that by some miracle your feeling is right! So, what's your thoughts on the move to PS4? Would you rather have it on PS3 and PS4 or are you happy about it being just PS4?

Well, if this deal is official (which it probably is), it'd be PS4 exclusive. I never understood why Square had such an issue with releasing KH games to more than one console. It'd get them a LOT more sales. Not everyone is as crazy as us about this series and aren't willing to buy a new system to play the next game. In fact, a lot of people probably still think this IS the first sequel to KH2 for that exact reason. I don't know. It just baffles me.

I'm pretty confident that the sources are right. By the time KHIII gets released, the PS3 probably won't even have new releases coming out anymore.

I'm agreeing with you on the release date thing but I'm fairly confident the PS4 thing is going to be true. Especially considering the lack of development while waiting for Versus.

We already expected as much but it seems official that Square has made a deal for a PS4-exclusive release as part of a two part deal for Versus and Kingdom Hearts 3. I vote no to Star Wars making an appearance. I think all the worlds in KHIII should be ones that have been in previous ones but have a GOOD reason for bringing them all back. Not just to beat Jafar in Agrabah for the 300th time.

I don't know if this is where to post it but I recently joined the 21st century and got a PS3 cheap and I just wanted to know if any of you guys want to be friends. I don't know how to find out what my username is (I'm pretty sure it's just James). I say yes. This game is the closest one to being a prequel to KHIII of all of them. Plus, it's good on its own!

I know I've been asking a bunch of questions tonight but I'm deep in thought and you guys always seem to know the answer. So, in the scene in this game where MX told Mickey of his plan, Xemnas and Ansem were members of the thirteen seekers of darkness (as you know). But, wasn't the destruction of the two of them the only way to bring MX back? How can all three of them even be present? The answer is probably really obvious and I'm just not seeing it.

I imagine it will sell the same amount as all the games that have been released since KHII. Those games that were released to add further to the story. I'd imagine everyone else either gave up on waiting for KHIII or assume that KHII was the last game from the series to be released. I'm definitely going to buy it. I've been wanting to play a FM game forever and now I finally can.

** If Flaming Lea does not respond to this thread, I'll be shocked! ** But, just thinking about this one scene for a moment is really sad. Lea and Isa were obviously the closest of friends when they were human and wanting to work for Ansem in the castle (and eventually getting adorably thrown out). Through the years, Lea who was now Axel, chose to at least attempt to be a good guy and eventually completely left the Organization and chose to identify as Lea again. Then, after all is said and done, he goes to save Sora, Riku, and Mickey from the clutches of the 13 darknesses and sees that he is under attack. And, who is he under attack by? Who is this person who is choosing to fight on the side of darkness under MX? Isa. Imagine after being best friends, you now realize that you will be forced to fight for the greater good because he has chosen the wrong side.
