Hello! Do YOU like Kingdom Hearts? Of course you do! So do I! So much to the point where it has basically taken up my whole life! So, I've decided to start a video series called Kingdom Hearts Collections! In this series, I show off little tidbits and secrets in KH games! Such as: alternate cutscene points, ledges where you wouldn't think they were and so much more! Interested? Why not check it out! The first episode is below, and there are already a few others out! And if I have missed anything, or you have something you want me to show off, let me know! (And please forgive me for the quality of the video and the glare from my window, this was the only way I could record it forgive meeeee! T.T)

Kingdom Hearts 2's controls are terrible

While stopping movement to get something out of the menu may not be preferable to you, it's honestly not bad. If you're quick enough, you can get to a potion or your preferred spell and easily and start moving again in LESS than 30 seconds. And with shortcuts, you don't even really have to navigate the menu. If you want a Drive form, you just press up and it takes you to the bottom of the menu, pick your form and bam. Same with Limits on the second menu. I would seriously consider trying to get a hang of the directional buttons, it makes it SO much easier. And I'm not just knocking your playstyle. I used to navigate KH1's menu with the right analog stick until I got a hang of the directional buttons. Best decision ever. The analog sticks are not solid enough to use for menu navigation. Seriously, give the directional buttons a try and you might change you're outlook on the game.

Kingdom Hearts 2's controls are terrible

What are you talking about with the command menu? What's this "having to use L2 and the right stick" thing? I always just used the D-pad. I had not idea that was even an option. Granted the second menu option was a little odd and a bit annoying if you accidentally switched to it mid battle, but I never found it slow or clunky. I will agree that waiting for MP charge after you Cure was annoying since it took all your MP and you would most likely need another spell in the wait time, but it just teaches you to learn when to cure. I'm not knocking the BBS command menu, I think it's well done, but I would NOT say or agree that KH2 has the worst controls. In my opinion, it's THE best control scheme of all the games. BUt to each their own. But seriously, could you elaborate on the L2 thing? I have NO idea what you're talking about.

Video games that have deep, little to no convoluted storylines

Ni no Kuni. The story is so amazing! But depending on one's definition of "convoluted" the concepts and its plot twist might make it convoluted. I don't think it is though.

		Is there actually a traitor?

But I'm in the Snake Union T.T You can trust meeeee!

		Is there actually a traitor?

2.8's X section has been bugging me all day. The lines: "I found the traitor" followed by "I don't believe there is one among us", "Are we all going to turn against one another?" and "It's written on that page that one will betray us all." bother me. I can't help but think that there actually ISN'T a traitor among the lights. But just hear me out: What if the idea of a traitor was planted into the minds of the Foretellers so they would all become suspicious of each other and eventually turn against each other and start the Keyblade War? Suspicion is sometimes the best weapon to use against a group. If some believe that not everyone will keep the whole group safe, they will grow to distrust the others. And in this case, if the Foretellers are trying to weed out a traitor among each other, some might use their Unions to take out one they see as the traitor. If that succeeds, then the other Foretellers may think that the first Union to attack were actually the traitors and attack them. And so and on and so forth until everyone is fighting. The Unions and Foretellers would fight each other to root out a traitor and to keep the world from being engulfed by darkness, but end up doing the exact opposite. All in the pursuit of one person that might not even exist. The suspicion that there is disbelief of a traitor and the question of whether they would really betray each other make me think this even more. I know the page that says there is a traitor and the inquiry by Chirithy that there is a traitor disproves my theory, but "one that will betray us all" doesn't necessarily pertain ONLY to members of the Foretellers. The one that could betray them could mean the 6th Follower- the Foreteller's fellow pupil. And while the 6th could convince a Foreteller to come to their side and be a traitor, I would think it would make more sense for the 6th to say that there is already a traitor among them- warning them with their "best interest" in mind- and just sit and watch them tear each other apart. That could be what the 6th is doing in this scene (around 15 mins):https://youtu.be/lTBa-ar95Z8?list=PLhcSrKyqhfh5gWWmRv4rISACTyrZbPPsS This is probably reading too much into the little information that we have. But I can't help but feel like something is wrong/missing. A simple traitor is too obvious. While their reasoning may be complex is there is one, I feel like the idea of a traitor is too simplistic. And KH is ANYTHING but simple.... AND CLEAN

Daybreak Town and the Keyblade Graveyard

I've always assumed Daybreak Town was the Keyblade Graveyard. It makes the most sense. As you said: it's the hub world of X/Unchained X, where all the Keyblade wielders live and hang out. All truly important story happens there, it just makes sense.

And just who were you trying to fool? Huh? Huuuhhhhaaaghghgghhghg

First: what Firaga said about alluding to Riku's darkness. Second: I actually find Sora's response normal. Mickey alluding to Riku's darkness isn't totally obvious, so Sora probably thought that Riku's blindfold has just to mask his face. Just a blindfold isn't a convincing disguise- or a way to "lie" about his identity- so Sora was teasing Riku. He was making fun of his disguise becuase no one would be fooled by it. I actually like Sora's response because teasing and giving Riku a hard time gives a glimpse at how the two acted with each other before KH1 (same with "Cause I'm not a total sap like you"). This scene and a couple of scenes in Coded are pretty cool in that they show us more of Sora and Riku's friendship before darkness and the Keyblade came between them. Third: I have NO excuse for Sora asking Riku about what to do. I think maybe now that Riku was back, Sora was just like: Sweet! I get to turn my brain off!

		Guys, give Square a break.

I made a rant video about the complaints being made about Unchained X. Check it out if you want. But for all complaining: give Square a break. They're trying. And a lot of people aren't even supposed to have the game, mind you. Complain at me and fight me on this if you desire.

Is everyone special except for Sora?

Ah, ok, I see your point, thank you. I wasn't fully convinced solely on the "Sora was chosen after Riku took it" point. I guess you're right then. Xehanort's quote/the quote for BBS: "Destiny is never left to chance" fits well here.
 -

Is everyone special except for Sora?

I wouldn't say it was Sora's "destiny" to wield the Keyblade. Just because he was chosen by the Keyblade AFTER Riku had taken it, doesn't necessarily mean he was destined to wield it "one way or another." press the "quote" button on a post

Is everyone special except for Sora?

Technically yes, Sora is supposed to be the only "ordinary" character. He's ordinary in comparison to everyone else: He was never technically chosen by the Keyblade and he isn't the physically strongest looking character. He doesn't have a heart of pure light like Kairi or Ven, nor does he have any degree of control over the darkness within him like Terra and Riku do. He isn't someone who was "never meant to exist" like Roxas, Xion, Namine, Axel and Repliku and he doesn't appear to have a special affinity for magic like Aqua and Lea do. He isn't the smartest tack in the box but he isn't dumb. Sora is, in comparison to everyone else, a really lucky kid who rose to the challenge he was faced. His simple outlook on life, his personality, and his sense of justice are supposed to make him a character that's relate-able to everyone. He's a character that everyone can identify with: he's had friend problems, he laughs and cries, he can be serious or silly, he can save the worlds but also fall to the darkness. But it's in his relate-ability that has allowed him to connect with all the people in the series. He has a big heart that cares and that's his strength. Sora is and isn't special. He can relate to everyone in the series and draws strength from the lessons they and he have learned. It's from those connections that makes him special, that gave him the Keyblade, that gave him the strength to save the worlds twice, to be a unique individual. His friends give him the power to be special.

What is Something New You'd Like to See with Sora in KH3?

I want to Sora to have to deal with some sort of psychological repercussions as a result from his time in darkness. What was really interesting from 3D was the Anti-Black Coat Nightmare, which is described as a "personification of Sora's nightmares". I find it really interesting that Sora's nightmare took the form of an Organization member, I see it as an indication that Sora is actually afraid of the Organization and/or the darkness. And if that's true, I don't see how Sora could come out of being completely engulfed in darkness completely unscathed. So, I want to see Sora experiencing fear, crippling fear, actually. To the point where he's shaking and can't move. I feel like this would be a great obstacle for Sora to overcome since he's mostly seen as happy and carefree. Getting over that fear would not and should not be east. Plus, this could touch upon the hurt and darkness in Sora's heart. It would be interesting character development for him, plus fear is not something that is explored much in KH beyond "leading to obsession with power and obsession beckons the darkness."
 - Uniphication and Soraalam1 made a theory! I think we figured out the mysteries behind KHX!

What if Ansem was actually Ansem instead of Riku?

First: why did you word it that way? Even knowing what you're talking about, there is still better wording for this question. Second: Xehanort's Heartless would have no reason to help Kairi because that would interfere with Xemnas' plans of obtaining Kingdom Hearts/ 13 Vessels. The only reason I think he would would be to kidnap Kairi again and make Sora even more pissed and maybe causing him to be taken over by the darkness spawned from his rage. But that's stupidly convoluted.

		Sora and Terra

It's definitely interesting how Sora and Terra share those similarities. Sora also shares some similarities with MX: growing up on DI and wanting to leave to see new worlds. (However I always got the feeling that Sora wasn't as ready to leave as Riku was). Becoming Heartless of their own volition and maintaining some their memories (although Sora's was fleeting) and becoming walking hearts for a period of time. And Sora's connection with others is an interesting opposite to Xehanort's: MX has many other selves through force and his dark goal while Sora had other selves through his kindness and willingness to take in others. MX's Keyblade and his ability to wield one is a mystery, and while Sora's isn't his Keyblade and ability IS complicated.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailer Analysis: Sora Ages In The Trailer?

Not to burst your bubble but... Nomura said in the Spotlight on Kingdom Hearts at E3 and in some interview after that Sora is seen in both KH2 and KH3 models to actually show that the two character models are exactly the same. "Nomura confirms that Sora has the same size and proportion as he did in Kingdom Hearts II." Yes, KH3 model does look a bit older that KH2 model, I won't deny that. There were a lot of questions about Sora's height and age comparing the 2, but Nomura said the two models for Sora are the same. They're just showing off Sora's new model. An age progression for Sora throughout KH3 would be cool to see, but I doubt they'll do that.

The problem with heart, body, and soul mechanics on Kingdom Hearts

Yeah, Nomura has definitely ignored some interesting aspects of the trifecta of a person in the KH universe. The soul is touched upon only in the Secret Ansem reports, so a lot of people forget that death IS possible in the universe. As for your theory it's definitely interesting. Memories making up the heart, body and soul can be backed up by what Namine said in CoM: "Memories are connected in a chain that makes up each of us." But I'm not so sure memories are the sole reason for a heart, body and soul. I see them more as interdependent. The heart shapes the body and contains the memories of person. And the body contains the soul, which is probably affected by the memories within the heart and shapes the personality. Or maybe it's just the memory and heart that do that, not too sure. It's fun to think about. Getting back to Namine and Roxas, there's a few details that you've missed. First, when Kairi brought Sora's heart back from the darkness, she did NOT bring back his body. From that point until the end of Roxas' story in KH2, Sora was a walking heart, he only got his body back when Roxas returned it b/c Roxas was the body Sora left behind. However, because Ventus' heart was in the body Sora left behind, Sora's Nobody took on Ventus' form b/c that's the only heart in Sora's body at that time, and the heart shapes the vessel. It's most likely that Kairi's memories and feeling for Sora, and her PoH powers, gave Sora's heart a physical form without an actual body. As for Namine, the secret Ansem reports state that she was created from Kairi's heart and Sora's body and soul. Meaning Namine obtained a physical body and a soul from Sora, but her body was shaped by Kairi's heart. Her power over memories stems from her connection with Sora and being a Nobody of a PoH.

somthing shocking i just thought of about KH1 that will make u rethink

I honestly could have done without the condescending Willy Wonka meme. It was unnecessary. I'm just pointing out that usually younger female characters- like a sister, younger or older- usually are voiced by a lighter, younger sounding voice. And by the way, your Vanitas argument doesn't really work since Vanitas is the same height as Ventus and his dialogue("loser, idiot, too slow, pathetic") indicates he is a teenager. In no way could anyone think that Vanitas is an adult b/c his voice is deep, the visual and audio clues lead otherwise. Sora's mother, on the other hand, we do not see and we only hear once. While there's no cues to indicate she is his mother, we also do NOT get any clues she ISN'T. If there ARE any clues it's in how Sora's mother asked for Sora twice in the span of 2 seconds- not even waiting for Sora to respond.
