I'm not worried. Square know how long we have waited, but they also know that we gladly wait longer for a great product Come on dude, be serious here. Granted the game is still in it's early stages, but it doesn't stay that way, and with technology moving as fast as it does now, thus making it possible to create a good game faster, I don't think KHIII will take them that long when Nomura is done writing the script. I still shoot for a Q3-Q4 2015 release.

You know, why are you so pessimistic about EVERY idea I have?? Besides, I didn't only make this thread for you guys to bash my harmless little suggestion, I also wanted to hear your suggestions, but you are too busy harping on me to think of anything apparently!

Well, that is why I, like many other fans (without having anything against the Xbox), hope that they focus on the PS4, and then make a port for the Xbox where the remove the features that doesn't work on it. Cuz many fans fear that the Xbox will drag Kingdom Hearts III down like (they claim) it did with Final Fantasy XIII. So I'd rather they focus all their attention on the strengths of ONE console, so that they don't have to limit themselves, and then worry about the Xbox afterwards. 1. But Square knows that extra work pays in KH. 2. So? They should be grateful that they even GET the game this time>_<

I hope, and also have faith, that now that she's a Keyblade Wielder, that she'll be playable and have a significant role this time While I hope that she'll be significant this time around, I must disagree on this point, cuz if you ask me, Sora and Kairi are perfect the way they are. Riku is the all serious and not-so-easily-decieved character, Kairi is the steadfast and strongwilled character, and Sora is naïve but has a heart of gold. That's the way they are, and that's how we.....that's the way I love them. Being a damsel in distress plot device, doesn't equal being useful.

So, Square decided to wait all this time and finally make Kingdom Hearts III a next gen exclusive (PS4 and Xbox One). What do you hope this will accomplish? The new consoles have all sorts of new features, so do you guys 'n gals have any wishes/expectations/ideas for how the game will utilize these new feature? Me personally, I am really looking forward to see if they utilize the PS4 controller's touchpad. And I had an idea that swiping it could be used as a short-cut to quickly change between your Keychains PS. Because it apparently wasn't clear the first time, this is also a thread for YOU to discus YOUR suggestions as to how the technology of the next gens could be taken advantage of.

How about DuckTales? I mean in Huey, Duey and Luey (yeah I'm not used to their english names) were introduced in KH1, and Uncle Scrooge debuted in KHII, so all we are missing is for the four to meet

May I ask, where did all the hype for Pence come from? I mean isn't he just the stereotypical chubby but warmhearted best friend type who is mandatory in any group of kids? And sorry if I'm wrong, don't get me wrong, I like the guy :-) I just didn't see him....that way.

I have a feeling that Daybreak Town from Kingdom Hearts X[chi] might appear And, suppose the main part of the game is set in a BBS kinda style where you switch around between Sora, Riku, and Kairi, each doing their own thing, but then later on have the ability to construct your very own three-man/woman-squad, where Sora doesn't necessarily have to be the leader Also: say that Mirage Arena returns, but unlike BBS where you fought as either Ventus, Terra, or Aqua, in their Keyblade Armor which you could slightly alter in colour to distinguish yourself from the other wireless player; THIS time you can play local/online co-op where you and up to 4 friends can choose a Keyblade Wielder and take on missions together! Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, King Mickey, Lea, Master Eraqus, Master Xehanort, Terranort, Vanitas + whatever new original characters they may come up with. And adding to that: what if you could then collect "Light Orbs" dropped by the enemy, that when collected would fill up a meter, and when that meter was full, your characters would temporarily be able to transform into their Keyblade Armor form, granting them an overall stat boost while transformed!! *O* (Oooohhhh Nomura!!! Please take my ideas AND my money!!!)

Hmm, you got a point there and because her series is all about princesses, it would fit even better (than my previous idea) if Kairi were the one who visited her. Maybe when the darkness invades her world she panics and becomes unsure of herself, doubting if she's good enough to protect her kingdom. But then Kairi appears and cheers her up, thus taking on a sister role for Sofia to look up to (as opposed to Sora being a brother figure). It could definetly work! It's unlikely, but I actually hope Nomura takes notes from this, or maybe even comes up with the same idea!

Well, if we're gonna see ANY Heart Stations, I would like to see Kairi's. I mean, we all want to finally see her as a playable character, so what better way to introduce her, than have HER be the focus of the "Dive to the Heart Intro Stage", just like Roxas was in KHII?

Glad I'm not the only one seeing this idea from a constuctive point of view and YOUR idea for how she would act as a summon ain't half bad either, I could totally see that work! And then perhaps ALSO give her the abiltity to revive Sora once, thus acting as a combination of Genie and Tinker Bells. Maybe it sounds overpowered, but then again, that's why summons only stay active for a limited time^_^

I've completed Final Mix, Re:CoM both stories, AND gotten all throphies in 358/2 Days. Don't you think I've already tried that? (didn't mean to sound b*tchy, I'm just being frustrated here^_^')

While I know nothing about Sofia the First untill I saw this thread and looked her up, I actually wouldn't mind if she made an appearance in KHIII I mean think about it guys, in KHII we have a "level" where we have to protect Disney Castle from being taken over by Malificent, so I could totally see a similar idea returning in KHIII where Sora this time has to protect Sofia's kingdom from the forces of even. Plus, Sora is older now, so I could totally imagine that he becomes friends with her and acts as her older brother, thus showing us how much he's matured over the years and then when he has brought peace back to her world, she is sad to see him leave, but they then do the pinky-swear, and Sora promises her that he'll always be in her heart to protect her. In return, Sofia then gives Sora her lucky-charm (or whatever object they can come up with), and says that as long as he's in her heart, she'll be in his. And with that charm you can now summon her! and just like Tinker Bell being a ridiculously overpowered summon in KH1 and like the gamebreaking female characters in Castlevania; she turns out to be the best summon in the game! Acting like a healer/one-time-reviver for Sora just like Tinker Bell was, while also damaging the enemy! (wuav, this turned into quite a fanfiction ) But in all seriousness, I really wouldn't mind seeing her as a summon in KHIII anything to enrich the experience and as long as it doesn't ruin the game!! And to everyone who are against it without reason... what hurt could a little princess POSSIBLY do?^_^

Exactly!! Thank you!! That's also what I said! Sora and Kairi's developing romance has pretty much been a sub-plot up till now! And I do agree, these two armors look great for both of them! And then imagine how good they would look with the new graphics!! *O*

But like some of you also said, I think "this summer earliest" was either just wishful thinking on his part, or because you kinda have to think fast when interview so that embarrasing silence doesn't occur, thus he took a quick wild guess. But for some reason I HIGHLY doubt it'll begin that early. Like many of you have guessed, I too think we are talking about a release in 2015 at the earliest, so I doubt the english recording will begin this year. Like he said, his part is one of the last processes

I wholeheartedly agree, Haley Joel Osment IS Sora, no one else can do it, not one else will suffice. Besides he's been with us for so long! I am guessing he just chose his words badly, happens to all of us. And what I think he meant, was that Roxas is Sora (in a way), Vanitas is Sora (in a way), Naminé is Sora (in a way) and Xion is Sora (in a way). So he doesn't know what kind of change Sora will go through in III, but he hopes to be back regardless.
