But the good thing in KH1 is that when you are low on health, and you heal yourself, and close to half of your health is returned. Then Donald does it, and most of your health has come back, thus making it useful.

It's there just for fun, it's optional, but you have to beat it when you get the Ultima Weapon. Still, it is pointless, but people may find it fun and it would be like a little brain break from all the fighting.
