I always wondered HOW keyblade wielders CAN release hearts by using sticks. Too bad Xemnas had to go through all this trouble with 13 dopes in his Organization in order to complete KH when he could have just used a stick himself...

1) The word is naïveté 2) Sora IS serious when push comes to shove (crying a lot over KAiri and Riku, begging Saix, dispairing when everything seems lost...) 3) Sora is supposed to motivate the player to empathize with Sora, therfore Sora is supposed to be the more-or-less childish, silly, Rookie wielder who is growing better becasue THE one important thing he is serious about is his Friends. 4) Would you prefer SOra to give in to darkness already and die?

Well, I think that Sora jus wanted to thank them properly like he still has to thank namine.He returned to the realm of sleep to do so as traverse is still needed there. Dream eaters are manifestations if dreams, duh, and therefore they won't return in future dreams unless the characters return to the realm of sleep.

Haha, we'll it was to me. And I'm glad I gave DDD a second chance. Thanks, this was really important to me as a first I thought that dream drop distance did not make any sense.After revisiting the game I realized the game is not all that bad.But just some points a really hard to get and easy to confuse.Thank you so much you're very welcome.

4 things i hate about it: 1) xehanort 2) xehanort 3) xehanort 4) xehanort 5) Kairi not being there to watch her (almost)boyfriend almost die!! Too much xehanort! But i also hate time traveling and this is how i could list 5 of the 4 things i hate about DDD...

Xion's keyblade is sora's.Ven has/ had (as he's sleeping now) 1 keyblade.Sora has 1 keyblade.Sora took ven's heart into his own.Sora became a heartless but was restored and regained his heart.Roxas was created and ven's heart was transferred into him.Roxas can use 1 keyblade at first (Sora's)Xion's death stirred Ven's heart inside of Roxas and therefore he could use 2- sora's and ven's.When roxas reunites with sora he has both, his own and ven's (which was strengthened and stirred by roxas) and now he can use his and ven's.Still, these keyblades can be used by several people at once and therefore sora and roxas both use sora's keyblade at the same time.(At that fight in khii final mix they even use sora's and ven's two times at the same time (if sora had donald and goofy to drave form into a 2 blade drive))Anyway, xion is a copy/replica of sora and therefore uses a copied version of sora's keyblade (hence riku calls it a sham keyblade). Her purpose is to copy sora's powers and to catch sora's memories to prevent him from waking up later on.Xion was just intended to wield a blade to release and gather hearts at first but because of her catching those memories and then impersonating sora's memories of kairi (hence she looks like her) and then getting an own personality, and due to sora's memory being put back by namine, xion everyone got tangled in the web of this memories mess. For this reason Xion was able to weaken roxas and to prevent sora from waking and interfering with namine's work, and therefore xemnas used this. So xion was blank and a real puppet at first but through the interaction with roxas she gained access to sora's memories... Basically she's a puppet with sora's most precious memories who copied sora's keyblade. And because of her influence on this memories she was a threat to roxas and sora (end in a further sense to namine and kairi).By undoing all those mistakes everyone returned to the cenario i'm gonns tell in a second and therefore everyone forgot xion as a person:If nothing had gone wrong, xion would have stayed the blank puppet. She would not have gained access to sora's memory through roxas and she would not have messed with those in the first palce. Roxas would not have become weak so often during his training with the organization.Ven's memories engraved in ven's heart would not have been affected (although minimally) and xigbar would not have caught on to where ven's heart might be.Other downside: xion would not have been a friend of roxas and therefore her death would not have stirred ven's heart and neither roxas nor sora could wield 2 keyblades during days or khii at all.Namine would have restored sora's memory completely and the only missing piece wiuld have been roxas. Roxas would have been taken back by riku just as we know, sora would have woken up.Xion would have stayed the puppet without personaliy and even without a distinct face and she would have used the copied keyblade until xemnas would have decided they had enough hearts to let sora do the rest of the job. They would have destroyed her and that's it.Hope this clears it.

I noticed some things were somehow unclear and this leads to some confusion concerning DDD. I revisited DDD and decoded to point out some things I noticed. If you are interested in the laws of the KH universe, please domvisit my other thread in which I wrote an explanation of how Hearts, Nobodies and comcepts such as connected hearts, death or memories work. In DDD we encounter some things that often get confused, this should clear things up. DDD is the story of Soar and Riku's Mark of Mastery exam. Yen Sid instructs them to UNLOCK 7 Sleeping Keyholes and as a side effect, X sleeping worlds would wake again. KEYHOLES: yen Sid's quest is to unlock 7 keyholes. As Riku and Sora are in different parts if the worlds, they rarely unlock the same keyholes. Sora's keyholes are: Traverse town (1) Cite Grid Prankster Traverse Town (2) Musketeer Fantasia Riku's are: Traverse town (1) Cite Grid Monstro Traverse Town (2) Musketeer Fantasia Anyway, there are more keyholes shown which are NOT sleeping keyholes but opening passages to the realm of sleep: Destiny Islands Mysterious tower Both those worlds are not sleeping and the boys enter the realm of sleep at destiny islands. Still, destiny islands is not a sleeping world (duh, we see it getting restored in Kh1) Xehanort (robed figure) slips into the realm a t this point too, because he was present at the destruction of the isles (time travel law). Yen sent the boys back to their 14/15 year old times because they should learn to wield a keyblade from scratch, but im sure you knew that. Sora re-enters the realm from mysterious tower because traverse town is still there (presumably cuz it's needed there) and hence he can reunite with the dreameaters. (Though it is highly unlikely he can take them with him...) So both boys unlock 7 keyholes and therefore fulfill the requirement of the exam. Yen sid only spoke of 7 keyholes and never of 7 worlds. People got confused by this a lot but traverse had 2 holes and neither destiny islands, mysterious tower (music realm did, though) and the remnants of the world that never were sleeping worlds. Sora and riku visited the 2 halfs of traverse and the other half on the second visit, therefore it can have 2. The whole plot is confusing because they merely visit the world in a 1/2 dream each. The world dreams up what its places looked like, what its inhabitants acted like and so on. This is why sora and riku meet people that should know them but don't, and why sora and riku meet people that act differently in their respective interactions with sora and riku. It is most likely that those worlds will reappear in future games and then will finally get "propper" and linear storylines (and real bossfights - frollo anyone?) But to do this they need to be restored and therefore we can guess which worlds got restored because of DDD: Traverse Town: should be released from dream status but remains in realm of sleep so far because needed there. If need be in real world it will return there. It's likely the twewy gang will return to shibuya in khiii and traverse will return then. If this world appears where needed, then it never needed rescuing anyway. Cite: likely restored Grid: likely restored and accessible again from Radiabt garden Computer systems Prankster / Monstro: likely reatored and maybe connected to jiminy-related storylines... Musketeers: likely restored but unlikely to return as Mickey and friends lived there obly in their pasts... So it should be empty now or with new inhabitants Realm of music: likely restored and under yen sid's control again and should be accessible again from mysterious tower. Might return with fantasia 2000 storylines... All other worlds featured, destiny islands, mysterious, and twtnw, never needed rescuing and were onky used to open paths to the realm of sleep of even a sleeping heart precisely... Lastly, there's been a theory that those worlds used to open pathways were safeguarded because they had a keyhole of sleep- ish keyholw opened there. Therefore, they got restored at the end of KH1 because of that. In other words, the islands gpt restored for sure because sora and riku returned in ddd to make sure they will get restored but none of this makes sense... The only thing that makes sense is that future-sent-back sora and riku took the raft which was missing in kh1 but still none of this makes sense because if the islands never were restored then they could not return there and traverse would have hosted kairi instead of returning her home... Still, I just wanted to point out that DDD only speaks of the requirement to unlock (at least) 7 keyholes of sleep to return X worlds to the real worlds from the realm of sleep. There is no word on how many worlds were/would have been restored and there is no real connection between the worlds visited and the keyholes. The worlds visited are mere dream-imaginations of the worlds rather than the physical wolrds themselves and some of the worlds featured are in the real world and twtnw is in the inbetween. Fact is, sora and riku unlocked the required amount both and some if not all sleeping worlds returned to the real world. And by doing so, Riku gained the rank of mastery and the power to unlock a sleeping heart and sora gained the power to re-enter the realm of sleep. And both boys should have gaibed some new "proper" keyblade skills only master-trained wielders can have gained. I hope any of this makes sense as im traveling and its superlate here. Sorry for errors and typos...

Strictly speaking,mid love to have more KH in film form but 1) I want it done properly by Disney studios, 2) I don't want crappy flash shows.

KhIII won't have a digital release because internet speed, ps4 hardware and memory DO NOT offer affordable solutions to download a 50-100 gb game. (Also 1.5 and 2.5 are too big for download)And besides, why would fans prefer a digital version in any case. As Disney and square and sony have financial hardships WHO guarantees those games will be accessible all the times?If a family goes broke, if they shut down ps store, if your account gets hacked, if your ps breaks If all those cases happen you'll lose your game...With a disc you just buy a new ps4 in the worst case, put the disc in and are ready to go...Anyway, this is the main reason I don't want digitalis, they're too risky for big things.Anyway, backing up digital save files is common practice, backing up digital themes and preorder bono is easy but still try backing up a 100 gig game off the ps store.

Final fantasy is a pure square thing and they get to decide everything about those titles themselves. Also KH has a different fan target group and disney's bigger influence (and influence of Disney interactive in the first place) Requires different marketing. They are using Disney property after all. All KH releases have been marketed in Disney fashion. And Disney always prefers to cash in big time with separate disc releases in every case. (Ducktales remastered exempt, and Disney is always trying new digital experiments, digital copies, digital content, bluray live - but they never last long... And fans have noticed they are better off buying everything on disc to avoid losing their bought goods when Disney once again decides to close one of their digital beta projects down...) But still, 1.5 had none, 2.5 will have none, kh3 won't have either -> hence final mix. The only way I can see downloadables is in form of ps4 themes or wallpapers (preorder boni) And the frozen release I mentioned got a 2d+3d release GLOBALLY and only Disney USA decided to have fans buy the 2d now and 3d in winter...

Those cutscenes you mentioned were not important at all for the story (hence not present in the THEATER mode whose purpose is to relive the STORY of the game without playing the game...)Most of those are easily accessible just by visiting cavern of remembrance and entering a date battle...Anyway, BbS fm HAD the new scenes in Theater mode. (Not the enter and exit battle for xehanort and eraqus armor and monstro, granted) but the new scenes for the last episode secured bosses endings and secret endings were all there. Cuz Disney is a driving force in KH. Square cannot do anything without Disney approving it.The whole copyright is at Disney.Production is ant square but they cannot do anything without the respective other - hence a collaboration

I'd rather not. I still prefer to have a disc with everything on it.And besides, if they release a new game on a new disc they can cash in twice!Disney especially supports those strategies:2014: Frozen gets a separate 3D bluray release in NA just to cash in twice and to promote the movie before the holiday season.

There is no way any other company than Disney animations (Japan) would produce this series. And they would never use true anime style but rather their cheap flash-style animation. Even if it looked decent, they would reduce the style of the animation to make it easy to animate in that style. Remember Yuna and stitch? I think this was the last bigger series animated by the Japanese animation branch... And they did not use the flash style back then. The new Mickey Mouse cartoons use their flash animation and so do series like Wander over yonder... While this tyke is OK for the three minutes clips and quite elaborate on wander in terms of art direction and style, these are crappy and ugly compared to the original 1940s cartoons or 90s series such as Ducktales or later Kim possible... In sum: I'd rather not have an anime... I think IF they wanted to put it in any animated form, they would either produce a full movie themselves (like ff Vini advent children) but only for a new installment in the series. IF older KH titles were to become a movie, Disney animation studies would do it and they'd have to like resell a short 2 hour version of each story... But if they used Disney studios' animation powers and resources and kHiii's art direction and shading styles, this movie would look awesome!

To be honest I DO think they'll come up with bonus content for NA to push the hype. Then they'll release a final mix in japan. But I guess kh3 will be so big they'll release that final mix here too.

Awesome! I completely forgot about that! How do you know all of this? I usually forget about the interviews right after reading them... One more thing: when Roxas attacks Sora in front of Memory Skyscraper, the battle takes place inside Sora right? Do you think the Keyblade which is Sora's can be used by the two at the same time? Roxas uses his and Ven's but Sora uses his own too and if he had Donald and Goofy with him they could fight using Sora's and Ven's Keyblades both at the same time... I'm thinking this because when Roxas awakens in Twilight Town and uses the Keyblade, Sora is also using his keyblade during the events of KH and CoM before going to sleep... So they basically use the same keyblade both at the same time. So if Nobodies have all innate abilities their originals have there is no problem using the same keyblade (kind of similar to Xion who copies sora;s powers too) [ther other possibility would be that Roxas used Ven's keyblade all the time and then grew a heart to use the second but this makes no sense cuz Xion uses a blade too all the time... - and Xemnas COULD use Xehanort's keyblade too while Ansem uses the same too] Thanks A LOT for your help, you sound really omniscient in the KH universe... Both forms of hearts appear regularly throughout the entire series. Usually ALL normal hearts have been shown as purple crystals (that woman in KH1, the hearts in the experiments in KH2, heart-shapes on the experiment papers in KH2, the hearts gathering to make KH in KH2, the hearts releasing from emblem heartless in days, the Game over screens in KH1, CoM, BbS, KH2, Coded (if I remember correctly) also show those hearts. Days does not (duh, nobodies) The pure hearts have only been used for the princesses and Ven (ALL PoH in KH1, Aurora's heart in BbS, Ven's heart in BbS) Xehanort's heart is similar to the pure hearts (BbS when attacking Terra, DDD when attacking Sora, DDD Braig's heart)

I also realized that in the flashback scene in DDD, When Xehanort attacks BRAIG and releases his heart, and therefor turning him into a heartless as well as Xigbar, BRAIG's heart looks just like the PURE hearts too. I wonder if this is a mistake or if this is because Braig at that time is already "half Xehanort"... (his eyes are golden already, I think he gives into Xehanort in BbS after losing to Terra? It's been a while since I played this game now I'm waiting for 2.5...) Here is what this heart looks like. Mistake? Xehanort's unique heart? Strong hearts?

Xehanort has a special heart as it seems: This is Xehanort Reduced to just a Heart / Heartless: In BbS: Xehanort transfers his heart to Terra after releasing it: But it looks just like a heart of Pure Light!! In DDD: Xehanort does this little trick with his Keyblade and glowing magic fingers: And the he releases (at least a fraction of) his heart and shoots it over to implant it into Sora. And yet again his heart's fracture has the appearance of a pure heart of light... However: He can also do this neat trick and summon this orb that gathered Kingdom Hearts in BbS: I think this would personally fit better for his heart (flaming darkness) I wonder what is the reason behind this. The shapes and concepts of heart are consistent throughout the whole series! Why would Xehanort's heart be different?
