It will look good, but not as good. They porbably rendered the game on PC at 4K then downsampled to 360p screenshot and applied a photoshop filter (maybe edit a few thigns here and there) . It's not hard. Final product will look good, but it won't have the perfections these screens have.

It's not so much the fans. It's the casuals and people who heard good things who will pick it up. Holiday seasonal time just enhances because many parents want to buy kid friendly games for their children. KH fits that even though it story doesn't so much any more. It's also marketing Square has to ready up, get the rating, and starting their marketing (not like they will do much). I expect marketing to be the same as 1.5 barely any commercials just word of mouth and random casual buy. It's what they want in this time period it's wiser to maximize sales especially sicne it helps budget ports to next gen consoles and/or PC. Or even KH3's development.

I think they are holding it back, but I think it because they can maximize the sales by doing a holiday release

Yes it's only the songs that weren't orchestrated that are getting the treatment. Working Together, The Encounter, and the Menu trailer music were already orchestrated (The first two tracks probably being recycled from BBS)

No loss in waiting. Getting a PS4 for KH3 and other games anyway. Getting the HD collections would just be a big bonus

They won't use Playstation Now for KH unless they fix that contract with Utada's music. As long as it stands KH must have physical releases. Case in point, they can't use Playstation Now. That and the fact that they would want Xbox to also have a version too. They can't stream PS3 games to Xbox. thirdly they already remastered these games and the source on PC dev anyway. It's easy to port that down to next gen consoles. I believe the chances are high. Square only seems to be doing HD remasters now, Nomura wants all KH on a centrailized console(s) [KH3 along with 1.5& 2.5], they were only planning for PS3 because Square didn't get the console sdks from either Sony or Microsoft, and of course more money. Either way hoping for a PC release but if not then PS4 will do. I don't see them announcing those versions till after 2.5 releases worldwide anyway as to sucker all you guys to buying the PS3 version of the games and maximize sales. Believe

Yes the PCSX2 has a lower color bit. HD remaster will have textures 2x their size and a higher color bit. It makes a difference even if the resolution isn't rendered as high as PCSX2. But it's not too much of a visible difference to get too upset over either. As for BBS, He said that the fish face models have more polys but the fingers are still stuck together? I hope that changes in the final version. They have 6 months, then again it's already 95% done and too late

They cut the trailer beccause that was KH3 stuff. It's the same trailer that was released few days ago

There was an English Patch for it. And it released fairly quickly from when the game first came out.
