Sonic "Project 2017" Title Announced
I just find her bland. I never like the whole serious no-nonsense character archetype, and her being a princess from another dimension isn't a backstory I really care for. Plus I never played Rush or Rush Adventure, so my only exposure to her is Sonic 06 and Generations, which doesn't exactly leave me with a positive impression. If there's anyone I trust with accurate game news, it's Aaron "Sonic Meme King" Webber.

Sonic "Project 2017" Title Announced
green hill zone whyyyyyyy I'm still really nervous about the Classic Sonic stuff. I never really liked any of those levels in Generations and I'm worried I'm gonna have the same problem in Forces. Yet another rehash of Green Hill Zone doesn't exactly assuage my fears either. (Also really hoping the new character isn't another cat. Never liked Blaze or Big very much, don't need another mediocre feline.)

Shouldn't Roxas look like Sora and Ventus?
He does. The all look almost identical to each other. It's really Ventus who's the odd man out; why does some random kid from 10 years ago look almost exactly like Sora?

For Gods sake the facial animations
Well, no, that's not an accurate comparison. Halo: CE Anniversary is a total remake in completely different engine than the original. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 is basically a port of an early PS2 game, with some necessary updated character models and music. The core game is still the same, hence mouth flaps. Not that I don't agree with you, the facial animations tend to be pretty bad, and for sure I'd love it if they could actually remake the game to both look and play better. That's just not a very realistic expectation, and really, I want them to focus on KH3 as much as humanly possible. (Besides, the big draw for me was finally being able to play Final Mix without importing or emulating, PS2 limitations be damned.)

Which Final Fantasy minigame would be fun to see in Kingdom Hearts?
Well, it's not like Blitzball players have trouble moving or holding their breath underwater anyway. Bet no one else has a duck-topus on their team, though. Honestly I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been any sort of chocobos yet in KH. All they have is a reference Keyblade that isn't even that good.

My world List
Ah, I misunderstood. Yeah, I guess a different desert world as opposed to another Agrabah would be welcome, though honestly I'd be a-ok with not having any desert worlds at all in KH3. Well, they could do a world based on Fantasia 2000 like they were planning on for DDD. I'd be down with that.

My world List
I meant more that it's the only one on the list that's only kind of a Disney property. The movie is all Disney, but it's still a Ubisoft IP and they likely have the rights to any Prince of Persia video games; it'd probably be more effort than it's worth for SE to get the rights to use it in a KH game, especially considering it's not a very popular movie. (also personal opinion but an open desert world sounds miserable to me)

My world List
That seems out of place.

PETA attacks Nintendo's Switch Cow-Milking games
Okay, no, I'm calling bullshit. No one in the dairy industry calls anything a "rape rack" and I dare anyone to try and prove they do.

Which is your favorite creation-system in Kingdom Hearts?
What you're looking for is basically what Re:Coded offers- the same command conversion system that BBS has except it not only tells you what two commands synthesize into but lets you use the new command without fusing the original two so you can see if it's worth it or not. It's one of many, many ways Re:Coded is basically BBS except good.

Sonic "Project 2017" Title Announced
I mean, it's not the prophecies themselves that are the issue, it's that ever since SA1 the games tend to have overly bloated melodramatic stories- a.k.a., not the kind of thing most people know or like Sonic for. The games can have as many ancient prophecies as they want, so long as the story remains lighthearted and fun. Most Sonic games have problems with that. Yeah, it's certainly a fun punching bag, but honestly I kind of like a lot of the mechanics that they tried to implement. Differing paths based on level specific missions are a cool idea, and the gun play isn't totally miserable (kind of like a slow clunky Ratchet & Clank). Sadly, it totally fails on most of what it tries to do as a game, and the fact that it was both a "edgy" and serious story is exactly symptomatic of the kind of thing I described above. Nah, I mean, it kind of is that bad. It's still possible to like shitty things though- some people actually do enjoy Sonic 06, y'know, though virtually always on an ironic level. A lot of this kind of stuff does come down to taste, too, of course. I have a higher tolerance for dark edgelord-ness than I do for ancient magic, so I'm willing to forgive things like SA2 and Shadow for a lot of their obvious faults (though both games are still seriously lacking in the story department). Some people are the other way around and are cool with SA1 or Unleashed- or, god forbid, 06. I still stand by what I've said about balancing serious and fun, but I need to do a better job remembering that personal opinion is an important factor too.

Sonic "Project 2017" Title Announced
*raises hand* Don't get me wrong, it's not good, and it certainly doesn't deserve defending. But I still get a kick out of it, and how dare you try to pigeonhole my favorite character Shadow the Hedgehog.

"Why should we pigeonhole Sonic games? Also SONIC GAMES SHOULD NEVER BE THIS THING I DON'T LIKE." Agreed. Doesn't make it impressive.

"Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" Trailer
Not saying they are, just that they don't crack jokes all the time like the trailer implies they're going to be doing. Ehhhh, I don't know if I believe comedy is really that simple. There're different types of humor, and I remember the books being much dryer than this trailer looks (though I could be remembering them wrong).

Why Character Development is Important and How DDD did it
I never got cocky from Sora's actions in DDD, just naive and confident. If he was supposed to come off as overly prideful or whatever, they did a very poor job of showing it. I get how it kind of looks like he's cocky based on how he acts, but really, Sora just doesn't care about being a Master. It's a formality: he's doing it because he has to in order to help the people connected to him that are hurting, and to support Riku, who's taking the exam to prove to himself that he's worthy of the Keyblade. That's why Riku comes off more serious overall, because it means a lot more to him. Sora doesn't care about titles, or being "worthy" or whatever. He just wants to help people. (And to be fair to Sora, if I had already saved all of reality twice, I would feel comfortable fighting the people I've already fought before too.) Also this. In my opinion, DDD was horribly written, and I'd really like to believe SE understands that on some level and is willing to improve it.

Wow, I'm genuinely shocked at how much I don't hate Final Fantasy X. It's actually... good? Not was I was expecting.

Digital Releases for KH OSTs?
I'm honestly fine with CDs (I get a decent amount of use out of them, mostly for car trips, plus you can just rip them onto your PC anyway), problem is they're almost entirely import only and therefore absurdly expensive. You're right though, there should at least be digital releases somewhere. I'd certainly be willing to pay for a reasonably priced collection and I don't have a clue why SE don't offer it.

Sonic "Project 2017" Title Announced
That's the catch, though. Dark isn't fun if it's taken too seriously, and Sonic games do that way too often. I personally hate SA1's story (and gameplay and graphics and, well, I digress) because it never feels like a fun time. There's lots of bright, colorful levels and upbeat music but the entire story is about the death of the echidna civilization and Chaos killing cops (and eventually every living thing in Station Square) and murdering sentient robots to free their living power sources. SA2 works better, I feel, because it's so over the top it almost borders on comical. Sonic escapes the military by jumping out of a helicopter, tearing off a metal siding as a makeshift skysurfing board and then uses it to ride the San Francisco streets like a ski slope. That's ridiculous and insane, and the whole game is like that. You're always riding rockets into the sky or outrunning the military on an impossibly twisted freeway or looking for pieces of the Master Emerald in spooky Halloween pumpkin town. It's dark like a Schwarzenegger movie is dark, and that's a very silly sort of dark. It's not about "going too far", it's about not balancing the fun cartoon aspects (aka, the stuff that people like about Sonic) with the dark or "serious" aspects. That's something I think a lot of Sonic games- like SA1, 06 and Unleashed- just didn't get the hang of. Fair, though that's a really low benchmark to praise other games for.

"Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" Trailer
I'm not really seeing it? Like, in the books Mr. Krupp and Professor Poopypants (god that is weird to type out in a normal discussion) aren't wacky and don't do funny things themselves, but the trailer makes it look like they're both wacky characters doing wacky shenanigans, and isn't that wacky??? Plus a lot of the jokes that worked in the books were set up by the narrator, not an actual character. Unless they do like A Series of Unfortunate Events and have someone literally play the part of Narrator, I don't see how they're gonna capture the same feel.
