  1. I've recently finished Conquest, and picked up Birthright. Man, I'm so used to plunging into the next chapter. I haven't played a story chapter in the past hour or so, because of all the children I can get now. I find Conquest more fun, but Birthright is also fun in its own right so far. Ryoma is overpowered, along with Silas, who also helped carry me through Conquest. I played as a girl this time around, so I married Subaki to get Caeldori as a daughter, because she is a-dori-ble.
  2. If you obtain the free Before Awakening DLC, and keep all three NPCs alive, you will get seals which will allow you to reclass a unit to the Lodestar class for male units and the Great Lord Class for female units. The Lodestar class is similar in function to the same class in Awakening, which was exclusive to Spotpass and DLC Marth. These classes are the closest you can get to Chrom's class. Unfortunately, you can only get these seals once per playthrough, which means you can't farm them. Fun fact about this DLC, you can have certain characters interact with the NPCs. Try Odin, Selena, Lazward, Jakob, or Corrin out.
  3. Don't know if you're going to receive this post, but as far as I know, the three you listed are the only ways to obtain them. I know that through the Smithy, you can trade in a large amount of gems for one of another, but that's about it. You can also use the Arena to get more of what you already have, but that doesn't really help with what you don't. I eventually get all of the Hoshido resources during my playthrough of Birthright around Chapter 17, by just losing the lottery and having units give them to me at random. I believe every player gets a different set of resources to farm per playthrough, since I got some stuff I haven't gotten yet through there. Edit: To add on, there is a certain character in Conquest that allows you to sometimes get 3 random gems or ingredients, but that won't help much if you're playing on Birthright. I've been playing Conquest, and I've been really enjoying it so far. It's definitely a challenge, but I like how it mixes up the objectives, and how the story progresses. I've also played some of Birthright in between as well, and it's also enjoyable. I've gotten a hold of the special edition somehow, so I'll be playing Revelation soon. Tossing up the next question then. Which version did you pick? Any particular reason? Who do you plan on marrying on your first playthrough? For me, I chose Conquest, because I found it interesting how the beginning chapters also forces you morally to chose Hoshido, and I wanted to see how the story progressed if I went Nohr. I'm not disappointed in the slightest so far. I've already married Selena, because I can't resist most tsunderes.
  4. Fire Emblem Fates is pretty fun so far. Can't wait to pick up the English release.
  5. ERASED is a pretty good anime to pick up this season.
  6. He raises some good points, and I mostly agree with them. Some points he makes I'd like to expand on though. There are plenty of things to use miranium and credits on, but it's more oriented towards endgame, which I assume he hasn't really touched at all. In fact, most people have trouble finding a good way to have enough without looking at a guide. I don't really understand how he thinks the customization for each party member is unintuitive. There are plenty of options for each character, and it feels like there's so many ways to go about equipping everyone with the new arms manufacturers. The soundtrack I can see why people dislike it, but it grew on me after a while. It's an unusual OST to be sure, but I don't think it's inherently bad. The way the monsters are set up I think makes it more immersive. Mira is a hostile planet, and won't always be streamlined to fit the path you're taking. There has to be something ridiculous along the way, or else the world wouldn't feel as alive and dangerous. It's a good review, and highlights some flaws that's sometimes overlooked when talking about the game, like how it doesn't teach you certain game mechanics unless you look up a guide (Overdrive and Augments), and how some of the characters do seem a bit flat in character development, even after doing their affinity and heart to heart missions, specifically Lin and Doug.
  7. You should use MyAnimeList to keep track of anime. It's easier to maintain in my opinion. You can also compare your list with other people who also use MAL.
  8. Just for you. http://puu.sh/n0QMi/02de75a8fa.jpg
  9. Don't they usually have some sort of centralized thread for codes? Don't frequent the subreddit often, but that should be the case if they don't do that already. I can't imagine having to sift through all the code begging threads. Edit: Here's the thread for it lol. Don't think you'll be able to comment since you're banned, but you'll probably want to PM someone who says they have a code to give away.
  10. It's a great anime. The topics it raised was interesting to see explored.
  11. Shinsekai Yori is my #1 pick for this one. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't have this one on deck, so here's a snazzy band cover. Or, you can have the real one at this link. Kyoukai no Kanata has a great ED, possibly the best thing to come out of the anime save the animation itself. Psycho-Pass, but the 2nd ED instead of the 1st. Anohana is pretty dramatic, and this ED fits it perfectly. Cowboy Bebop is the classic this time around.
  12. JoJo is a no-go this season.
  13. What to watch this season: Sekkou Boys. That's it.
  14. Man, people took most of my favorites already. Parasyte, Psycho-Pass OP2, Madoka Magica, Cowboy Bebop, TWGOK, Death Parade, FMA:B OP1, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Noragami, Fate/Stay Night: UBW OP2, and of course, Steins;Gate. However, I still got some to show off. My #1 pick that hasn't been listed yet has to be Baccano. One that aired last season, The Perfect Insider. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be an unedited version of this opening on Youtube, so here's a cover of it. One of my favorite anime, Welcome to the NHK. Any of Durarara's openings. Seriously, I like every single one of them. I doubt you want to be bombarded with all of them, so here's my favorite one. And to end it off with a classic, Trigun. I'd better stop myself before I steal everyone else's favorites.
  15. What KH3 said. I'm certain whoever blocked you has seen whatever plea you have, and since they haven't lifted their block, I doubt they will ever will.
  16. I need a bigger gun. Help if you can.
  17. Rivals of Aether is super fun. Smash Bros inspired game that feels so rewarding.
  18. I finished up the game. Since I said what I wanted to say that doesn't go into spoiler territory already, I'll expand on the story here, specifically the last few chapters. Also, here's a good picture I grabbed
  19. http://www.sourcegaming.info/2015/12/24/people-are-free-to-criticize-but-dont-lose-faith/ Respecting this site's wishes, I only quoted the first two paragraphs, but it does shit in telling what this article is about. Basically, Sakurai leads into how there is a vocal minority that constantly complains about the negative aspects in a piece of media without weighing in the positives. It's a good read about how Sakurai thinks about recent complaints of the additions to the Smash roster.
