The character models for 0.2/3 look so strange to me. Some of them are not necessarily bad, just strange looking.

Seeing how they seem to cater more to the Japanese market than to the Western market, that would make sense. Another possibility is that the developers for Tales of Zestiria made a deal with an anime studio before releasing the game. To make a comparison, the developers for Smash Bros contracted anime Studio Shaft to animate Palutena's release trailer. It's possible they agreed to make an anime before they released the game.

Well yeah, it got an anime because of how popular it is. Not specifically because of the story, like how you implied in your status.

Kantai Collection has no story to it, yet it got an anime due to its sheer popularity in the Japanese market. Not saying you're wrong, but that's a bad reason.

You should use MyAnimeList to keep track of anime. It's easier to maintain in my opinion. You can also compare your list with other people who also use MAL.
