Thanks for the friend invite, bud. =) Unfortunately I cannot recollect as to where we have met ...
Why, thank you! When I saw it, I just had to use it. It is Dust from the game from the same name, only Snoopified, if you catch my meaning. Your profile pic is awesome as well, though I cannot tell where it came from.

I'll make an attempt to defibrillate this RP, if anyone is still interested in continuing this. *rubs paddles*, CLEAR!

Some folks have played the latest Doom, I see. =P I am still amongst the living, though just barely. Too much is going on, though I shall recuperate shortly.

hello hello
Hello hello to you too! I've been a big fan of you for many years, Coca Cola, but now that you are on this site I can say say this in full and on the side welcome you to this fun place. Enjoy your stay in the Kingdom Hearts world of wonder, and may we bump into each other every now and again, preferably on good terms. =P Ciao!

Well I have a job now!
Congrats, man! I knew you had it in you! If you stick to your guns and not give up, doors almost always open wide eventually. =)

Overworld Sign-ups and Discussion [CLOSED]
Wait a second. WAIT A SECOND! A Raiden met and befriended a Raiju witlessly? Even if this is purely out of coincidence, I can only say this is a fantastic turn of events outside of lore. Awesome choice of legends to base Arthur's father's side, Stardust. I'm even more interested in Arthur now.

Overworld RP *COMPLETE*
- Jari Coriander, on the outskirts of Kilkes Seres' camp - Jari woke up in a fit of startlement from his unknown assailant, and if he weren't tethered down by a very tight-fitting Elia suit he would have bounced to his feet and ran clean off. Instead, he frightfully struggled against his bonds with great difficulty for a few seconds until recognition kicked in. "Wait, Elia?" he intoned, the words slung from his mouth in a slightly slurred and monotonous fashion. He relaxed his shoulders, and no longer did his heart threaten to beat through both of their ribcages and come out the other side of the fairy. He listened to her soft, melodic voice and was assured it was definitely Elia. "I was scared that I lost you too," he responded in turn, feeling emotions come into play within him as well. Thoughts of Morana sprang up in the fuzziness in his brain -- unwelcome thoughts of her on the battlefield around the time of her death. He did not say much more. Instead, he cried into the dirt, the newly wet soil clinging to his face. - Raleigh Marin, Mystran camp in the healing tents - Raleigh was a face in the crowd again, her robe and paper armour removed and replaced with a spare change of clothes that were more befitting of a middle-class man than a woman of her era. A stout shirt and men's trousers with one leg rolled up to allow a bandage rested on her shoulders and hip, and a ragged belt that clearly saw better days completed the ensemble. None of them seemed to match the other, but they were clean of blood and sweat, so she did not mind. She drifted from person to person, trying her best to avoid gazes. She hated death, and even though death was the trade of an assassin she never was around it for long in her adventures. Some of these people, regardless of the skill of the healers, had minutes or even hours to live, but much to her relief she did not find Curvis among the injured or deceased. An exploration gig turned within a week or two into a full-scale battle. I'm willing to bet that this has never been in the history books of man or fae, she thought to herself, slipping past the bodies of a deeply weeping individual and someone who passed on. I hope this is never repeated, too. This is too horrible. In the end, she caught some familiar sights, first the young fae from the feast in the World Below (Helios), and next Draksis of the guards, and next still King Alderon himself, all within a stone's throw away from each other. She closed the distance and wordlessly listened in, looking over the king's wounds grimly every now and again in worry. If he died, who would give her her paycheck?

Virtual Reality: A Story Told Within Cyberspace. (Role-Play Interest Check, Sign-Ups And/Or Discussions.).
Ah yes, I remember reading that conversation. Do not worry; it is a good premise that shows much intrigue, though the original post came out a bit more like a core dump and is chockablock with information not many people would have the patience to read fully. I am sadly one of those people, though I strove to read through the premise three times to have everything written make sense to me. This is probably the reviewer / writer within me, however, and not everyone is like me. When you compile a sign-ups and discussion thread and, later, the roleplay, organisation plays a strong role in making an idea stand out of the crowd and really shine. You've done well with the other three critical parts, however -- those being targetting a certain audience, worldbuilding, and having dedication -- so good on you there! Your diligence over the past few months is impressive and has not gone unrewarded, especially when it comes to the last critical part. =)

Virtual Reality: A Story Told Within Cyberspace. (Role-Play Interest Check, Sign-Ups And/Or Discussions.).
I'm pretty interested in the premise and see a lot of MMORPG-style potential for fun within this RP. The interest check is very thick, but from what I see it is high-fantasy and harbours concepts not often seen, like the limited underwater exploration thing where players adapted to water can collect rare items and artefacts. My time is limited as of late, but I would love to join this when I have a fair amount of time on my hands, probably with a bakeneko to better match the Oriental feel of this RP, or maybe a D&D-style druid or warlock. A lot of openness here, which is lovely.

~The Happy Journal~ (Roleplay)
- Fennel - Fennel let loose a small smile at Veran's comment. As curt as he was when involving himself, he seemed much more talkative when it involved others, a fine quality she did not often observe in men. The Everus family seemed like an interesting one. "Yes, the library sounds like a good first start. Many people seem to . . ." She held her tongue in check shortly before an officer came up close to her with a stern, unwavering gaze. Swallowing roughly, she answered to her name. "Yes, I am Fennel," the girl replied modestly, though she wanted to test the waters before she curtsied to the brash man of the law. "How may I help you, officer?"

~The Happy Journal~ (Roleplay)
- Fennel - The lady gardener happily accepted the butler's invitation with a "Let's" and bounced alongside him. If she can help him, he can help her, and that was all right with Fennel. Besides, she craved the companionship of another human being. Whether this was caused by herself or caused by the Journal, she had no idea, but either way being with Veran brought her no small amount of happiness. "It's nice to see a family working together on something," she pattered in hopes of starting a conversation piece. "Ava and her mum, I mean. My parents and I never saw eye-to-eye when it came to work, even when we tried each other's favoured trades, but our bonds were still tight while my parents were still alive. Veran, is it? If it is not too much prying, are you following a family trade?"

~The Happy Journal~ (Roleplay)
- Fennel - As Elizabeth slipped back indoors, Fennel uttered a small take-care under her breath. A small gasp of surprise emitted from her when she turned back to the butler and saw the slightest semblance of a book coming from his person. This man -- he had a Journal too, and he correctly guessed that she also had one? Perhaps these Journals were as commonplace as she had imagined them to be, though she had found no evidence that proved otherwise. Perhaps she should visit the library sometime, just to see if she can find anything about this small question of hers. "Fennel, Fennel Gusset," she responded almost automatically, even through her shock. "You . . . have a Journal too, though I think it best that I ask about this later. Miss Ava is missing, after all, and something feels . . . off today, doesn't it? My entry seemed unusually indirect, or more so than the norm." She bit her lip, a little panicked by the thought that this stranger she just met might look at her funny and dismiss her then and there, but then again Veran did seem stuck with her, saying that they will find Ava. "Where's the first spot we should look, or should we split up and reunite somewhere, like outside this house? While I've seen Lady Ava in passing, I do not know the first thing about her beyond her name and where she works. Actually, she wouldn't be working now, would she? If she has a key, maybe she's at that clothing boutique and just gave you and her mother a jumpstart as well as a start."

~The Happy Journal~ (Roleplay)
- Fennel - The lady gardener patted down her dress as the butler of the house arrived onto the premises, sharp, angular features befitting the bite of his tongue. She fumbled for words to answer his question, but came up with some. "I don't need help. I just came to visit," Fennel responded nervously, though this was not entirely true. Realising this as she glanced back to the lady Elizabeth, she decided to rephrase things, biting down on her thumb lightly as she spoke. "Well, actually . . . maybe so. I was supposed to meet up with either of the ladies of the household -- if I remember right, your daughter is an Elizabeth and the name specified was Elizabeth -- and a man named Genesis. Does . . . that name sound familiar at all to you two? It's all right if you don't. Lady Aya takes precedence to my request, of course, and if I can aid you in your search, please tell. I would be happy to assist!" Like Fennel feared, she felt anxiety gnaw at her actions and words, but nothing could restrain her fervour for wanting to help. Her hands locked together in front of her as she bowed her head honorably to Elizabeth.

~The Happy Journal~ (Roleplay)
- Fennel, walking towards Ava's house - Fennel pondered over her Journal entry as she worked, so much so that she did not accomplish as much as she had hoped during the time she had allotted to the garden. There were so many small things to achieve that she overlooked, all of which detracted from an amazingly refined beauty. Buds and wilted flowers had to be snipped or brought to full bloom. Leaves had to be healed of the bites of aphids and other herbivorous insects. Stray strands of greenery needed to be trimmed, and it was approaching midday. She breathed out a sigh and decided against continuing. All this waiting and checking did not help her nerves, especially with how vague the Journal was. Perhaps it was best to plod her way to Ava and her mother's house to make a proper attempt of following the entry. Packing everything up, she ventured to the familial estate of the two, hesitating at the door when she was about to knock. What would she say once somebody opened the door? That she was here to meet Ava's mom and a mystery man? What if it was Ava it meant? She frowned and shook her head. She was no good at these social calls, especially when forced into it with so little understanding of the matter. With a shallow breath of reluctance, she performed a rat-a-tat-tat on the front door and waited. Words, she assumed, will come to her. Even if it came out botched, it could not be that bad . . . right?

The Happy Journal (Sign-ups and Discussion) (Always Open)
I was wondering the same thing, actually, as well as something else. Does everyone in this world have a Journal, or does this take place in the real world, only the one's whose lives were reset have Journals?

The Happy Journal (Sign-ups and Discussion) (Always Open)
No worries about the confusion of the thinking/speaking creatures, Shard. It was not your fault, but rather due to the difference in your writing-style. It is more primal, more singular in thought, which I felt was great for the creatures. To prevent this in the future, maybe separate the thoughts out into their own paragraph or put them in italics like this. I've very rarely had issues with parsing thoughts like this, and hope this will help you in the same manner. =)

Overworld Sign-ups and Discussion [CLOSED]
Oh, let me tell you, you cannot go wrong with the Heroes of Might and Magic series. It is a fantastic series along with its mother series Might and Magic. The second, third, and fifth installations of among the best of Heroes, though I would not recommend the sixth. It's just, well . . . it's just horrible, in my opinion, though the opening cinematic was gorgeous and put the game to shame. Neverwinter Nights was a phenomenal gaming series too, and Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 are must-plays if you like D&D-style games with less rules and Star Wars. KotOR is what inspired Star Wars to be as deep as it is, developing the world and branching it out so much. I remember that you wanted to inspire others long ago! I think it is a wonderful trait, having that desire, and from one inspirer to another I wish you well in regards to that as well. =) As for one of those brain chips, I already have a Babel Fish in one ear (a cookie to whomever gets the reference) and a Nega-thought Eater in the other, so I am fresh out of room, sad to say.
