KH's writings has a lot of flaws but if I may be entirely honest I find that to be the fun part. I think it's just a bunch of dumb fun and it's enjoyable to get lost in the madness- that being said I understand and value critiques against it's writing. It IS heavily flawed, although- dare I say- maybe that's what makes it enjoyable in the first place? But thats just me.

Unless you count Unchained χ- in which case I've only played the pc version- I have in fact played (or at least was present as my elder brother played) all the Kingdom hearts games. Personally I feel as if you don't necessarily need to play all the games to be caught up on knowledge haha. It helps for sure but its nothing youtube can't fix.

I absolutely adore the concept of KH in its entirety; bouncing between fairytales that exist in separate worlds in order to create a larger fairytale at its core. I love how Nomura doesn't plan everything out like a responsible story-teller and adds retcons and twists every other second because the result is absolutely ridiculous and unpredictable and the most this is just for fun storyline I've ever seen. I'm all for it. I love how everything is focused on friendship and it's positive impact on life rather than romance. I appreciate the friendship tone in general I love Chi's aesthetic and I just love fairytale-esque powers I love the ridiculous try-hard characters and everything they stand for All in all, my favorite thing about KH is that it's like asking a young child to tell you the best story that they can manage. It's less worried about fitting the status quo and being comprehensible and more for being imaginative and having fun. It's endearing to me.

The result is ridiculous, over-the-top, and nonsensical and I love every single second of it because I'm just here to have fun lol Things I dislike? Riku's angst in every game bar Re: Coded and DDD Kairi's under utilization The lack of Disney importance thats literally it lol you couldn't pay me to care about the rest

Unpopular opinions? Sure I'll bite. A negative thought process does not inherently mean better informed. A person who is explicitly positive about something they enjoy and is unable to list problems with their favorites opinions are not less valid. People are biased and have subjective opinions and there is no way around that and that's a-ok. Everyone's opinions are valid and there is no hierarchy. And I think we all should just chill
