PC Gamers ask for PC Versions of certain console games, simply because they are a platform that can truly make these games shine for example Halo 3-6 on PC, not only will we have the better graphics, a much better frame rate(which is actually important for gameplay), we will also have the much better input device for play it(unless Microsoft decides to support keyboard and mouse for all of it's FPS Games) along with mod support which adds to a games longevity as opposed to the console as the game just dies out in a couple of months when it comes to hype, multiplayer can go down, and you pretty much have done all that you can do in the game itself. console gamers begging for a port of a PC Game, well it seems fine and dandy until they realize that their controls will have to be dumbed down, and some games it's absolutely impossible to port to the console, due to hardware limitations mostly, They will also lose mod support, free online which honestly it's BS you have to pay for when on PC it's free. Where as the PC isn't limited by such things, we can upgrade our hardware to whatever and outperform the consoles several times over, we can use any type of input device

The PC because it's objectively superior in almost every way, shape, and form.

KH3D isn't anywhere near the worst KH game, hell I find it's quality pretty close to games like KHBBS, and a lot better than both the DS Games, and KH ReCOM

For those that don't know what it is, Xbox Play Anywhere is a program started by Microsoft that allows games that are apart of this program to not only be played on the Xbox One, but Windows 10. I think it has pretty good potential, especially for Xbox One Exclusives like Halo, but I think it would be very great if Microsoft can get more third parties on board with games that are also on the PlayStation 4, I mean imagine for Square Enix and Disney if Kingdom Hearts 3 becomes Xbox Play Anywhere Square Enix/Disney might end up with more digital sales, then later they release a Steam version of Kingdom Hearts 3

They probably cancelled the Japanese Xbox Version the console sells like crap in Japan, I believe there are actually less than 100 units don't worry. USA, and PAL will get their Xbox One Versions, but like Metal Gear Rising Revengance the game will be PS4 exclusive in Japan

Not all KH fans care about 2.8 as it only consists of KH3D a better version mind you, but if they already have a 3DS, then it wouldn't matter to them, a movie( that stuff gets leaked online), the only think I can see them being miffed about is KH 0.2 BBS, and even then it is actually quite possible that SE just releases it separately as a demo for both systems to advertise KH3, and Sony just got timed exclusivity dibs on that, as the game itself can not only run nearly the same if not better due to the Scorpio being more powerful than the NEO, but it can also control the same on the Xbox One. KH3D can not, even though it wouldn't surprise me if SE found a way and said f it we are porting it to more platforms. There is also the case of the Scorpio being the most powerful console, so KH3 will run better on it, and to some that matters more than exclusive content they don't really care about, but considering FFXV doesn't seem to have PS4 Exclusive content considering the game was originally for PS4, I find it very questionable if they will do the same for Kingdom Hearts 3

It's probably the same issue as Metal Gear Rising Revengance https://www.primagames.com/games/metal-gear-rising-revengeance/news/metal-gear-rising-revengeance-will-be-ps3-exclusiv It's due to the fact the Xbox One has TERRIBAD SALES IN JAPAN. so it's not worth the money making a JPN version of KH3 for the Xbox One, because only maybe only a measly 30 people might buy it, so they would have to either jack up the price to astronomically levels to make the difference, but then it won't sell period. So all they do is simply not make a JPN Version and just a ENGLISH, France and whatever else. If you can't stand KH3 on Xbox 1, then that's your problem, a problem that you shouldn't be having PERIOD, I to follow the Nintendo consoles, but I don't have a problem with KH3 being on Xbox One, because there is no reason for me to do so, because it's also on your PlayStation 4, so all you have to do is simply play it on the PS4, and let any KH fan who is not a fan of the PS Exclusive titles, but instead if a fan of Halo while it's still exclusive to the Xbox, or maybe wants the more powerful XBox One Scorpio instead of spending 800 bucks on hardware, they just need to spend 400-499, and 60 to play KH there you both can enjoy KH. This is the same mindset I can't stand from the Xbox fanboys that have this xenophobic nature when their games are ported to PC/Win 10

If your are happy about that I question if you are a KH fan seriously, and not some PlayStation fanboy, you are not being hurt, neither is the game being hurt when being allowed to be played on other people's hardware. In fact you should be rallying for more Kingdom Hearts game to be multi-platform, on more platforms if anything.

Again it's only the Japanese site, this happened before eg. Metal Gear Rising the xbox sells like crap in japan

TheGamersJoint comment section is cancerous when it comes to Kingdom Hearts main titles being on any other platform than the PlayStation it's their dumb fanboyism mixed with horrendous misinformation, that hell even plagues the Xbox community. They want ammo to fill their console war bullets, and KH going to Xbox hurts that. These people seem to think that with the Xbox One being only slightly less powerful, yes the difference is there, but it's not as big as most people think it is, the difference is really resolution, framerate and some detail. I mean these morons are under the false pretense that Tetsuya Nomura if he could make KH3 exclusive would have used the PlayStation 4's slightly more powerful GPU, and touchpad in a very significant way, and to that I say BS, and even then it wouldn't even warrant the exclusivity to begin with. No Tetsuya Nomura saw his vision, and thought it could work on the Xbox One therefore it's on the Xbox One PERIOD, can they please stop speculating about things that aren't there, thinking the Xbox One will some how hold back the slightly more powerful PS4 in any meaningful way, shape or form when it won't by any stretch of the imagination. These consoles are practically PCs with 4 Graphics configs, the NEO, SCORPIO, XBO, AND PS4, that's it developers are taught to optimize for multiple configs on the PC, so are you freaking telling me that Tetsuya Nomura CAN'T OPTIMIZE FOR 2? the Xbox One is a weaker PC than the PS4 so they will adjust the settings accordingly. It's not like the PS3, Xbox 360 era where their hardware was so different than each other that only exclusives will let the game shine, nowadays that isn't the case. The PS4 doesn't have such a massive edge that will make it shine over the Xbox One platform when it comes to KH3, nothing in Nomura's vision is going to be compromised to get KH3 on Xbox One, if anything it expands it. Jeez these armchair devs thinking they know shit about the hardware of these systems yet they know diddly d!ck about them

Umm no it was just removed from the Japanese website, it's probably in the same boat as Metal Gear Rising Revengance, there will be no Xbox One JPN Version. The Xbox One can very much handle Kingdom Hearts 3, not as well as the PS4, but it can still run the damn game. Again it's only the Japanese website, there have been more than one occasion where a game has been a PlayStation exclusive in one region and a multiplatform in others. SE isn't going to not port KH3 to the Xbox One this late in the game, it would look incredibly bad on the company as a whole, and Disney wouldn't allow it. the NX and possibly PC could get a port though, but that would be after the Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 versions were finished.

Honestly I hope this game comes out on not just Xbox One, but I would surely love to play it at 4K/60FPS or 1440p at a higher framerate on the PC. At least Kingdom Hearts 0.2, at least 0.2, if it's not the KH3D HD version

I really hope this shows Square Enix and Disney that their is interest for Kingdom Hearts on PC, so they end up porting Kingdom Hearts 3 on PC a year at least a year after the PS4/XBOXONE VERSIONS

If there was a disk based PC Version sure I could do that, but since there won't be then no, I'll probably just get the PS4 Version for a friend as I don't own a PS4.

They want to release a KH game every year so FF7R will be released afterwards, the news blowout is just about releasing more info about the game, and what they will do with the game speaks nothing about completion. They could be 30 percent done and have one

Same could have been said for the game coming to Xbox One, yet here we are, if the game was a PS4 exclusive I would agree with you, but I would say the chances are pretty high considering it's coming out a console that hasn't had any of the games prior. Where as the PC people have played those games through emulation making them familar with the series as a whole.

There have been emulators that allow PC Gamers to play KH games which should mean there is a good install base on it, It is also cheaper to sell games on PC than it is on the PS4/XBOXONE, and it's an easy port due to it being unreal 4. In fact one could argue a PC Port would actually sell better than the Xbox version due to the fact that every Kingdom Hearts game can be played on the PC, thus PC Gamers will have prior knowledge of the series. If the port is a good port, then the word will spread getting other people to buy the game, and they will know what is going on. I should also add the cost, it could take 12 skilled guys to port Kingdom Hearts 3 to the PC, if they were given enough time. I would also argue that people would also be familar with KH due to the fact that their are a pletora of Disney games, and Final Fantasy games on Steam, so the interest is there, they just need to capitalize on it.

I think if FFXV sells well on PC, they will port the KH Games to PC, as well.

If this game comes to PC at some point in the future I'd love to play it
