To silence the people who were complaining about the quality of last night's event, the Final Fantasy series producer has said that this is only the 'opening' ceremony and there are new FF games coming. This was only to start the year off and Kitase might reveal something for the 20th FF7 anniversary (The North American one clearly). The announcements aren't limited to games-hence there will probably be more events. Nomura also wants to share more on FF7R. Now everyone can stop moaning about how bad it was since it was called the 'opening' ceremony from the beginning anyway. THE DROUGHT IS somewhat over Yoshinori Kitase-director of Final Fantasy 6, 7, 8 and 10 and the executive producer of FF7 Remake spoke with Famitsu recently!! They don't have plans to make any more games in the compilation but Kitase wants to do something to fill in the waiting time between each episode. “We’re currently brushing up the scene from the announcement trailer,” Kitase says. “We can now see the line of quality that we’re aiming for more clearly, but there’s still a ways to go.” The team’s goal is to carry this title through the project’s multiple episode releases. In addition, he wants it to be like FF15-where they can have events and livestreams to talk to the fans Final Fantasy VII Remake will be episodic, and if we want to have it go all the way to the end of the original version, then I believe we’ll need to devote everything we got for it, so I have no idea what will happen for things such as filler development [between episodes] and other works.” The base of the battle system is done, Nomura and Mitsunori Takahashi (director of Dissidia 012) are working hard on the game. The materia system IS NOT being removed and any part of the original that was WELL RECEIVED is not being cut out. Obviously some people will still try and twist this because they don't want to listen. The staff want a FF6 remake but they keep putting it off. Well uh. Well uh. I'm super behind on my Physics course so well uh basically well uh My teacher was out all last week so I had a supply that ran through about 3 units (8 units in total for the one exam paper) in about 3 lessons. She was like Eminem in the sense that she was moving so fast I couldn't absorb most of it... Then bam he comes back today, then he leaves because his collarbone is hurting and says he may take the week off again. The whole 8 units+revision for this paper+practical experiments+revision for the other exam paper specification we covered before Christmas should be all done by the beginning of April. It's February and we have 6 lessons a week. Btw, my teacher isn't exactly very good. He's a great guy, but well he Can't tell the difference between sine and cos Forgets what the independent and dependent variables are all the time Can't spell the word Samurai Often loses his train of thought Safe to say I've done my Bruce Wayne and just decided to start doing things myself. Hence I'm just going to teach myself the remainder of the course material since I'm screwed either way since If he does come back properly I'll be stuck with someone who isn't very good at teaching If he doesn't come back I may get the same supply lady who isn't very good at teaching If I get an A in August I think I'll scream. Time to learn this stuff myself. Not to mention this exam paper is meant to be super difficult for UK A level standards. Pray for me

Also, Square Enix don't usually shoot for dates. Hajime Tabata said in an ATR last year that they wait until the game is nearing completion and then announce a date. They may have an internal date decided but they never announce it properly until they are completely sure they can meet it.

If it is coming out in March 2018 you'll know well in advance, at least 8 months ahead.

That's a pretty long history! Vincent is also my favourite character from this game, he's just amazing like c'mon. I'll never understand why Cait Sith was mandatory but Vincent was optional.

It's 6am in Japan on the 31st, Final Fantasy 7 has turned 20 (like 6 hrs ago I'm late) years old! One of the most influential JRPGS ever, the story of Final Fantasy 7 remains one of the most captivating in any game I've ever played. A simple act of terrorism evolves into something much bigger and soon the entire world is caught up in a catastrophe that only you and your party can stop. Boasting a star studded cast featuring Identity Crisis, a martial artist with huge assets, Mr T, roar x Dee, A useless bunny rabbit, Yuffie Uchiha, Edward Cullen, Mrs 'I died in vain' and the smoker who swears a lot. Oh and how could I forget about Mommy's boy? Still one of the best implementations of the ATB system in any game I've ever played. It managed to find the perfect balance of speed and tactics, you can't wait too long to choose your move else the enemy will attack you. Cloud's identity crisis and character growth remains one of my favourite character arcs in any video game. I could go on and on, but I'm sure this game has affected a lot of people on here. FF7 is definitely my second FF game after 9.

Gosh the gummi ship games were a chore in both 1 and 2, Dive Missions weren't any better either. I hope they find a way to make them fun in KH3

The way he held the keyblade was clearly to show the master what was going on. He held it with the blade facing downwards so the eye could see Kingdom Hearts. No clue where Luxu is now though, all we know is that he was observing the second keyblade war. This definitely tells us that he will be in KH3 to observe the 3rd one and show the Master what is going on

Doubt KH3 will run at 60fps on the standard PS4 so it may have the same issue. It may not run at 60fps on the Pro either tbh
