  1. I can't say for sure at this point, but what I do know is that I don't trust Chirithy or the Foretellers at all right now, especially Chirithy - every time the Player seems to go slightly off course, the Chirithy is always scolding them... it's suspicious for sure.
  2. Or to make sure they don't step out of line and discover the truth... Oh my gosh, this game is looking more and more like The Matrix every day D:
  3. My thoughts exactly! Considering the Recusant's Sigil is in the game's logo, it must have some significance to the game itself, but of course that's yet to be seen I'm going to keep tabs on all the future outfits to see how this develops, because it's absolutely fascinating
  4. So, you know how there are cosplay costumes for your Avatar? Well I noticed something on a few of them that is really bugging me… On the Avatar outfits of Sora, Riku, Neku, Shiki, Mr. Mew, and the Organization XIII coat are very prominent (especially in Mr. Mew’s case) silver stars. These stars do not appear on the characters’ outfits in previous games, nor do they appear on any other Avatar outfits in the game. For instance, take Sora's oufit. Look closely, and you’ll notice that in his KH3D costume, his crown necklace has changed to a star. The same is true for his KH1 outfit. Both of Riku's outfits have one too! (On the male 3D outfit, instead of a star on the chest, there is a chain of silver stars on his belt) Neku's headphones have a silver star on the side, Shiki's cross necklace has changed to a star, and Mr. Mew (Shiki's stuffed cat) has a giant star around his neck. None of the stars are present in their KH3D incarnations. The drawstrings on the Organization XIII coat have silver stars attached - in every other appearance, they are just regular silver cords. What do all these characters have in common? They have all existed at some point within the Sleeping Worlds. The silver star does not appear on costumes of characters who have not existed with the realm of sleep, and there are no costumes of characters who appeared in the sleeping worlds who do not feature the silver star. So what does this mean? It could be nothing, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that they would bother changing some costume elements to a star when the rest of the clothes are accurate to their appearances in other games; Why bother changing Sora’s crown necklace to a star, for instance, unless it was for a reason? Why would they add a huge Silver Star to Mr. Mew, of all characters, unless it meant something significant? We know that the concepts of dreams and sleep play a big role in Kingdom Hearts χ, with Chirithy being a dream eater and Ephemera contacting Skuld within her dreams, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that this is being done deliberately. Speaking of Chirithy and Skuld, let's take a closer look at their designs: As we can clearly see, Chirithy has the Lux symbol (silver star) on his purse, and Skuld also has a chain of silver stars on her belt. The Players' starting keyblade, Starlight, is also based on a silver star motif. If the silver star is associated with Lux and quite possibly the Realm of Sleep, then is this a subtle hint that Daybreak Town is a sleeping world, and is there more to Lux than what we're being told? Could it be a kind of Recusant's sigil of sorts?
  5. I remember a few years back, when Dream Drop Distance was in development, someone asked Bill Farmer on Twitter if he had been doing any voice work for Kingdom Hearts, and he said they were working on 'Kingdom Hearts 10' or something. He obviously knows which game he's working on - he's been very specific when he says he's been recording for KH3, so I don't think he's confusing which games he's been working on.
  6. You have to combine 5 of them with a Sorcerer Mickey medal to make a Mickey & Brooms medal.
  7. Whoops, I thought you guys were talking about Unchained X! My fault for not reading the darned thread properly ^-^' At least you know the technique in advance, lol As for the browser version, your level doesn't really affect your stats, only your HP (but only by a tiny amount) and your deck cost, so you should focus on strengthening your Assist Cards to High Purity and hope for the best I really struggled with the Ava boss, it took me about 15 minutes and a lot of potions, but she relented eventually. It's just a case of being patient and not giving up. Good luck!
  8. A great way to level up is to complete stage 57 3 times, ensuring to defeat every Heartless. This will then spawn a Guard Armor, and you can repeat this over and over to speed level pretty fast - I used this method and I got to level 200 in no time, although it gets much harder to level up past this point. Good luck!
  9. Yep, I feel that the big 'twist' of KHIII will be that Sora was never destined to wield the keyblade at all - he's just an ordinary boy that gained the ability to wield the keyblade due to the strength of his heart alone. That's what makes Sora special and the hero of the KH series - he didn't gain his abilities due to some predetermined fate, but on his own merit I should also add that in the Zoroastrian creation myth, the God of Light instructed Fire to protect and serve Mankind. If we assume that the sixth apprentice/Mankind = Sora, and the sixth 'Foreteller'/Fire = Lea, then this creates a direct parallel with Roxas and Axel's friendship. My God, these similarities are becoming way too conspicuous!
  10. I thought about this myself, but if the reincarnation theory is true, then it implies the Keyblade wielders inherited their abilities from the Foretellers, and if they were preordained to be warriors of light, then Riku and Terra succumbing to darkness would not have changed this fate.
  11. Ok folks, I've been doing some reading, and I believe there may be some connection in Kingdom Hearts X to the ancient religion of Zoroastrianism, which is supposedly the oldest religion in existence. In Zoroastrian mythology, Ahura Mazda, the God of Light, created the world in seven stages: the Sky, Water, Earth, Flora, Fauna, the first Man: Keyumars, and Fire. Let's have a closer look at the blades of the foreteller's keyblades. First, Leopardos: The blade of the Leopardos keyblade resembles a lightning bolt; the Leopardos foreteller represents the Sky. Next, the Vulpeus foreteller (Ava): It may be difficult to see depending on the colour/brightness settings on your device, but on the light blue parts of the blade is what appears to be a tidal wave; Ava represents water. Also, Ava is a name derived from Aban, which in turn is the middle-Persian equivalent of the Avestan word Apas, meaning 'Waters'. The only known use of the Avestan language is in the scripture of the Zoroastrian religion. Next, the Ursus foreteller: The Ursus keyblade appears to have a rocky motif; the Ursus foreteller is Earth. Now, the Anguis foreteller: If one looks closely at the blade and the hilt, there are vines and leaves present; the Anguis foreteller represents flora. And finally, the Unicornis foreteller: This one was a little harder for me to discern, but looking at it, the blade sort of resembles a bow and arrow. Bows are traditionally associated with hunting; the Unicornis foreteller represents fauna. Ahriman, the evil Lord of darkness, tried to destroy the seven creations one by one. Foreseeing this, Ahura Mazda created six Archangels to protect the seven creations. He made himself the Archangel of Mankind. Ahriman failed to destroy all the creations, except Keyumars, who succumbed to sickness and died. If we assume that the sixth apprentice represents Keyumars, who was the only creation to succumb to darkness, then it explains why he never became a foreteller - he was the only one who succumbed to the darkness (Ahriman), and was therefore deemed not worthy of becoming a foreteller. But who represents the Archangel of fire? Ahura Mazda's final creation was Fire. An Archangel of fire was also created to protect this element. Who, in Kingdom Hearts lore, represents fire? That's right, Lea. My theory is that there is a sixth foreteller we currently don't know about, who is a replacement for the failed sixth apprentice, and Lea is the reincarnation of this foreteller. There is one Keyblade wielder missing; and that's Sora. Sora could be representative of the sixth apprentice and Keyumars, as he succumbed to the darkness in Dream Drop Distance and failed the Mark of Mastery. Therefore, I do not believe Sora is one of the seven lights; didn't Nomura say that not all of the people expected to fill the roles necessarily will? I believe the seven lights are: Mickey (Sent by Master Yen Sid, the Archangel of Mankind and reincarnation of the Foretellers' Master, to act on his behalf) Ventus (Archangel of Sky and reincarnation of Leopardos Foreteller) Kairi ( Archangel of Water and reincarnation of Ava/Vulpeus Foreteller) Terra (Archangel of Earth and reincarnation of Ursus Foreteller) Aqua (Archangel of Flora and reincarnation of Anguis Foreteller) Riku (Archangel of Fauna and reincarnation of Unicornis Foreteller) Lea (Archangel of Fire and reincarnation of unnamed 6th Foreteller) A little more information that may interest you: There's a superboss in Final Fantasy X-2 called Angra Mainyu; this is another name for Ahriman, the evil lord of darkness, so it would seem Square is already familiar with Zoroastrian mythology. What do you guys think? A mindblowing analogy, or just mere coincidence?
  12. Hello everyone, so I'm sure you've all heard by now the theory that Aqua, Ventus, Riku, Terra and Kairi are all reincarnations of the five Foretellers. At present, we only know the name of one of the foretellers, which is Ava, the Vulpeus foreteller. A lot of people have speculated the meaning of her name, so I decided to do a bit of research myself. I looked up the name Ava on Wikipedia, and came across this: 'The medieval name Ava is an abbreviation of a Germanic name containing the first element av-, meaning water from Proto-Persian word ab or av for water.' Upon doing some more research, I found this website, which lists names derived from several Iranian languages, and Ava is apparently an alternate spelling of the Parsi name 'Aban', meaning 'Waters; name of an angel; name of 10th day and 8th month'. 'Waters' is synonymous with the sea, and Kairi's name is derived from the word 'sea' in Japanese. The theory suggests that Kairi is the reincarnation of Ava, so the fact that both of their names could relate to the sea definitely bolsters this theory. Of course, it's far too early to be 100% percent certain until we learn the other names of the foretellers, but I figured it was a pretty interesting coincidence!
  13. I've been doing some reading, and apparently the name Ava (Vulpeus foreteller) is a Persian name meaning 'Water', and also the name of an angel. Some people reckon that Kairi is the Vulpeus forteller reborn, so the name definitely implies a connection with either her or Aqua.
  14. Seems the levelling rates go up exponentially after Lvl 200 - I'm Lvl 208, and I need 300000 Lux to get to 209 D:
  15. Square have announced that new trailers for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 and Kingdom Hearts III will be released tomorrow! I'm expecting it'll just be the D23 trailers, but who knows? https://www.facebook.com/KingdomHearts/photos/a.425862255840.195562.76090440840/10153188159420841/?type=3&theater
  16. Why don't you just download the Japanese version?
  17. E3 I suspect. Although that's not too bad, because even though 6 months seems like a long time, the last 6 months since this year's E3 has flown by
  18. If you're getting 1-hit KO'd by the Lvl 555 targets, then you need to develop your deck and keyblades more. Ensure you High Purity and boost as many cards as you can, and make sure all your attack cards, (or as many as possible) have at least Combo Plus, Berserk, and Cure skills attatched. Your Assist cards should also have HP Up and Second Chance equipped in order to minimise damage as much as possible; other skills that will greatly benefit you include Reflect Guard, Guilt Damage Plus, and Counter. I had the same problem when I started out - I just had to reshuffle the skills in my deck, and I found it much easier The guilt targets last until the end of the event
  19. If the event isn't streamed, and they show a new trailer during the theater, then I imagine SE will release it publicly on their social media platforms. At least that's what happened last time, so I wouldn't worry too much
