[UPDATED] Provisional Kingdom Hearts III trailer release plan revealed: new video on December 10, final trailer on December 18, and cinema commercials on December 16 and 21
It's not odd. Hashimoto has been at many events in the past months all across Europe and he didn't unveil a trailer, or anything at all, at every single event. He could also be there for promotional work, especially since the game has just gone gold. Being present can already make a difference without revealing something new.

Why Is Oath (Chikai) Used So Repeatedly?
I know it's meant to be an ending song, but even for that it's dull in my opinion. The rhythm, intonation and everything about it simply don't suit my taste and I do listen to some slow songs myself. But in this case, it just didn't manage to touch me at all. And quite frankly, I doubt it will do so at any point in the future because I just don't like it, regardless of the cutscene that plays with it. In fact, just because it has KH attached to it won't suddenly make it good for me. I'm not saying others can't like it. I'm well aware it's an ending song. But this song has so little emotion in my opinion and just sounds boring to me. There are many slow and melancholic songs which sound great and very emotional but 'Oath' just doesn't do that for me. If a song needs a cutscene to be considered good for anyone, it's not a good song on its own to that person. And a cutscene won't magically turn it into one. I'll accept that it'll be there since there's nothing I can do about it, but I won't enjoy it. No offense, but not every slow-paced song is automatically fitting for an ending. You can have the same genre from the same artist and still won't like every song made by that person. I see no reason to change that opinion just because it's in Kingdom Hearts. It's simply that - an opinion. I'm not trying to offend anyone by that but I think it's also okay to find something terrible, even if it's part of my favorite franchise. Utada Hikaru isn't some deity where everything she does is turned into gold for every single person on this planet, regardless of translation.

Why Is Oath (Chikai) Used So Repeatedly?
Yeah, there probably won't be that much time left to advertise the game. And we don't know if Face my Fears will be any good either. Of course I hope it will be but no matter how much a person likes an artist, there will probably always be a song they dislike. I'm not one for blind fanatism just because Utada Hikaru wrote the song. Of course it's fine if people like Oath, I just think it's fairly boring and the lyrics are also strange again. The problem I have with that kind of promotion is that she wrote 2 songs for the game from what we can tell. The majority will be done by Shimomura and some other people as well, so it doesn't really advertise what we will hear in the game most of the time.

Why Is Oath (Chikai) Used So Repeatedly?
I never made it a secret that I detest the song and hearing it again and again made me loathe it even more. It wouldn't be quite so bad if it would fit all the scenes but quite frankly, it doesn't. They even excluded most gameplay sounds just so it could play. I doubt this is the overall mood Nomura wants to set since he said that the game will have plenty of funny moments, even more so than in previous games. I agree with Master Keeper that they're probably commercializing the song and have some sort of contract to make it appear so often. Still, it's getting annoying. They don't need to reveal something new but they could at least cycle through known tracks... I personally think the song doesn't do a good job advertising the game because it's so melancholic and often doesn't fit the visuals. If I didn't know the franchise, it wouldn't appeal to me at all to hear that song in almost every trailer.

[Updated] Amazon's Cyber Monday stream reveals Dawn Till Dusk Keyblade Pre-order DLC after Together Trailer
I'm not even angry at the lack of a trailer, considering I was surprised they even announced one after the Together trailer, but I'm disappointed how they handled the whole situation. It was like they chose the worst method for damage control and it of course backfired. Judging by the comment on the stream, they did not receive the trailer from SE as expected. Even if we assume miscommunication was the case, that does not excuse the fact that they waited until 5 minutes before the stream to post something. And that post was trying to be cute and funny while being vague and coy in the end. That continued on into the stream with no clear statements whatsoever and ended in an abridged version of the Together trailer hastily being shown on what appeared to be something akin to the Windows Media Player, as though they hoped to conceal their blunder by showing something which was put together last minute. To be honest, even if the Together trailer was aired too early like some assume or another trailer wasn't delivered, they had a week to sort this out. It's not like SE showed that trailer 2 hours ago and all their plans were thrown overboard. Then there was the issue that despite not even having a trailer at their disposal, they announced one after Friday's stream. It would have been much better to just say KH3 announcements will be coming instead like on the original picture. People would have probably been disappointed it's just the 7/11 Keyblade, but at least there wouldn't be such a mess now. But even if they had stuck to the trailer announcement, they could have at least saved some face by posting the issues earlier today. Clearly and without resorting to vague Kingdom Hearts terminology. Now it seems like they're just blaming SE, even though they're also responsible for their actions toward hyping up something which isn't even in their possession. And not just once but several times. They could have clarified it much earlier, apologized and fans would have been disgruntled but not quite so hateful. I personally laughed about that really unprofessional setup. There's no need to be insulting either. It's okay to be upset and their behavior is proof of really bad preparation and marketing, but that doesn't mean people are allowed to act all out of line. Amazon will face the consequences one way or another and maybe learn something from that ordeal and perhaps SE will speak up soon, too. This stream wasn't prepared very well and one can question how people who are supposed to be professionals suddenly act like they didn't know and it definitely wasn't their fault. Maybe SE didn't deliver, but if that's the case, why not just say so? They are also to blame that it got blown way out of proportion by hyping it up again and again. Had they remained vague about the type of announcement, nothing would have happened.

New Kingdom Hearts III trailer, DLC announcement, and Twitch Prime members exclusive to be revealed on Amazon Games' Cyber Monday livestream
It starts in two hours. If you want to know exactly for your timezone (since not all of Europe shares the same), I'd google "PST now". Then it shows you the time it currently is in that zone. Calculate the difference between your current time and that one and then substract/add it from/to 1pm PST. For example, Germany is 9 hours "ahead" since it's currently 11:09am in PST format and 20:09 (8pm) in my own time zone. So 13:00 (1pm)+9 hours would be 22:00 (10pm) for me.

Alyson Stoner comments on voicing Kairi in Kingdom Hearts III: "This was the most fun out of all of them...You'll see why!"
While I don't follow news about stars and idols, I did hear that Hayden Panettiere had quite the amount of personal problems to deal with and I think SE/Disney don't want to switch back and forth between VAs to adjust to that, even if her situation is stable now. I think they are operating on some sort of "if you can't do it anymore it's fine, but don't expect to be the first to be asked to reprise the role since we had to resort to someone else" basis. Personally, I can understand that practice. It might not seem fair and personal problems naturally always come first, but Disney and SE have to choose them from a business standpoint and she's probably not regarded as reliable anymore, apart from the fact that they'd probably like to have a consistent VA. It is not disrespectful but simply how companies need to operate. They couldn't wait for her to get better and now they aren't obligated to ask her first when she's been out of the picture for quite some time. I wouldn't be too concerned about the others. Just because they're not confirmed doesn't really mean much since there's currently little reason to believe the characters have been recast. Of course it's not completely out of the question, but I don't see any circumstance surrounding them to prevent their involvement. That's probably the truest statement I've seen so far regarding VAs. A lot of people cling to them because of nostalgia or because it's subjectively better but at times, there's no choice to replace them and as long as the voice work is decent, I'm content. For example, few voices can compare to Leonard Nimoy but as long as the new one manages to capture the character, it's okay because there's little we can do. People die, have other commitments or simply can't make it due to personal reasons. Of course I'd be sad if some voices would be replaced, but there's little point in trying to push one person into the role as if they own it even though they didn't voice that character in years. I'm not diminishing Hayden's work or the opinion of others here but what's worse than replacing a VA is jumping back and forth between them. Disney and SE couldn't delay the games just because one VA couldn't make it. And some need to stop acting like she has a right to voice Kairi again just because she's available again. That's not how it works. She forfeited that when she couldn't voice her. I'm sympathetic toward personal problems in particular, but a VA is not important enough to postpone the release of games and just allow her to return when it's suitable for her. They moved on, and so should the fans. As you said, it's okay to prefer one over the other and be sad if one had to be replaced, but to some even the best replacement wouldn't be suitable because there's apparently only one real VA for that character. And I see no reason to let the game experience be lowered by something which cannot be changed. Give others a chance. For example, I like Ansem the Wise's new VA a lot better in terms of intonation and how feelings are delivered.

New Kingdom Hearts III trailer, DLC announcement, and Twitch Prime members exclusive to be revealed on Amazon Games' Cyber Monday livestream
I think people also have become too used to DLC and let a lot slip even though it isn't right. FFXV tried to patch up the holes by resorting to DLC and quite frankly, that's not acceptable in my opinion. Yes, the content itself was good but it hardly excuses the flawed main game. The circumstances of its development were hell and they couldn't wait any longer but it's no secret that the game wasn't done when they threw it on the market. It was a decent game and the DLC was enjoyable but how it came to be was far from supportable if you see the whole picture. Nintendo is a special case, too. A lot of their games are fueled by nostalgia. Not all of them are bad but they're also recycling a lot of ideas to the point where you're basically playing the same game with a few changes and little story. If that's what people want, I will hardly deny them the pleasure, but criticism toward their practices often isn't well-received. Their paid online services are a good example. Now, I'm not saying they shouldn't be paid but the service is flawed and every bit of money is wasted if the thing you pay for can't be used. But they're not the only ones, so everything is suddenly alright. Same for Smash Ultimate. But yeah, let them do whatever they want. I'm not going to turn this into a rant about the gaming industry and what's wrong with its development, but recently, it felt like they're focusing too much on DLC instead of focusing on new games in favor of easy money. I can also understand that people are reluctant to have Nomura work on FFVIIR first because that will potentially take a long time without something new for KH to come soon. I'm just not sure if I want story bits to be delivered for years to come. At some point, I would like KH3 to be finished because Nomura won't be able to oversee the DLC anymore either. And the people behind the DLC could also work on something else. There's no need for them to only work on KH but they could work on a smaller title instead. Of course there's the chance they might become detached from the franchise, but it could also give them a new perspective. I think Nomura once said he wants people to enjoy the game for years to come, but you can achieve that without too much DLC. A few I can live with but at some point, it might become listless. KH will probably always have more things to tell, more perspectives to explore, and so on, but I also wouldn't mind if it's just done at some point and not trying to bridge the gap between release and Nomura's return to the franchise too frantically. Especially because he can't be there all the time anymore if he wants to focus on FFVIIR. So yeah, I agree with you that the reactions tend to be mixed but I think that in the end, people will feel more inclined to purchase DLC if the base game is good. And I agree with you on the points you mentioned. It really depends on the amount and how they use it. It can have positive aspects and making money is not the main issue as long as you feel like you get what you pay for.

New Kingdom Hearts III trailer, DLC announcement, and Twitch Prime members exclusive to be revealed on Amazon Games' Cyber Monday livestream
I'm personally not upset by DLC itself. While not a fan of them, it's often somewhat necessary. But then I also think of other franchises which manage without paid DLC and can't help but compare. For example, the newest God of War also is an AAA title and the director flat-out refused DLC (except for a NG+ and the usual patches, which were all free), saying everything else will be saved for future games. Of course KH is different, and there's probably a lot more to tell and many more possibilities to explore, but I'm personally fairly opposed to announcing DLC, especially paid ones, before a game is even out. If it's only cosmetic, I couldn't care less but imagine if it was plot relevant. That's basically telling the player that they couldn't finish and include what they wanted to and pay again to get the full experience. Before the game is even released. Another thing is that developing DLC also prevents a portion of the staff to work on new titles. For a series that's meant to continue and with Nomura going to focus on FFVIIR, just working on DLC feels time-consuming. I'm not condemning all DLC. I just don't want to get any story parts delivered later for more money in a plot-driven game. In that regard, I miss the time where games were done when published. For example, I wouldn't mind a sort of costume DLC where you can customize Sora or even a multiplayer mode down the road. Nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with companies wanting to make money either. But I feel there's a limit to what can be accepted. Nomura said he had no plans for a season pass and would rather release DLC as a bulk, but what SE or Disney want to do is a different matter. I don't take it as an insult to desire profit but trying to milk people for parts of the story that should have been included from the get-go, and for a considerable amount of money too, is questionable. I'm not saying it will definitely happen to KH and I don't think all DLC is evil, it can expand a game and enrich the experience quite nicely if done correctly, but quite a few games had the issue of presenting you a very limited main game for 70$ and then expecting you to pay the rest separately. And people pay because they want to know the rest. A lot. 15$ for a one hour enjoyment is a lot in the gaming industry. That's why people are wary of such an announcement this early after development has come to a close. Nomura said pretty early they couldn't rule out DLC, which isn't bad on its own, but we'll have to see what this actually results in. I've seen people say they'd rather wait a year until everything is out and wait for a version with all DLC included in order to get the complete experience. Might be drastic, but it also would save money if it became really bad. I agree with you on the part that the community shouldn't be surprised if it happens. But complaining about things together as a community can also change things if it becomes too drastic. Speaking for myself, I'm just skeptical of the timing. I'd rather they let people experience the game first instead of holding their hand out before it's playable. There's a difference between being dirty and downright corrupted to the core after all. If someone was new to the franchise, they might be put off by the possibility of paid DLC before release, especially if they're in their early teens and can't just buy DLC on their own. (Even the cards with credit for the PSN are USK 18 here.)

New Kingdom Hearts III trailer, DLC announcement, and Twitch Prime members exclusive to be revealed on Amazon Games' Cyber Monday livestream
They didn't say that as far as I'm aware. The picture shows both dates and doesn't specify which stream the announcement would occur in. So technically, they've been honest. It's still somewhat cheap promotion to get people to watch both, but it could be worse. The stream was fairly boring otherwise so far. I think the presentation was rather dull and didn't look like they prepared themselves that well. I'm also not too fond of announcing DLC before the game is even out and hope it really will be something mostly inconsequential. But it's interesting that the Together trailer apparently did not count as a trailer since they said there would be one more left for this month before that.

Translations of Kingdom Hearts Union x Main Quest update reveals a familiar face
I'm not sure it will be that relevant to KH3. I think most of KHUx is setting the stage for what comes after because at the speed they're going, not a lot can happen anymore before its release. Unless they suddenly decide to change the pace. It took them 13 months to update the main plot after all. If it really was so necessary for KH3, I think they wouldn't have wasted so much time on fillers. Other than that, I agree with you completely. The game would have been interesting enough on its own if they actually put work into this. The characters were loveable on their own without needing to be connected to known characters and it would have been better if they had remained in the past, as the complete backstory of the mysterious Keyblade War. It would be fine to see remnants in the later games but that should have been it. No strange data, sleeping worlds, time travel or whatever is even going on anymore in that mobile game (coming from a person who is playing daily ever since its JP release). Just let people die and stay dead in this case if the story took place such a long time ago. Nothing wrong with the Dandelions facing their share of problems after the war rebuilding things and then dying of old age for example. I just don't see a necessity for the whole time travel aspect yet and Chi has been running for years now, regardless of name changes.

Kingdom Hearts III announced for The Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia; disk art and artbook cover officially revealed
That's probably a factor, too. The Ultimanias are handled as guides but an artbook... There may be issues with licensing. I believe DreamWorks is more invested in these types of merchandise than Disney. Truly a shame... I own so many artbooks and I love most of them. (The only exception was one where only finished material was in without any commentary at all and for that, I don't need a book...) I think the franchise is big enough too, especially when smaller games also get them nowadays. It would be so good to actually have a proper artbook. It doesn't even need to focus on one game only. The Legend of Zelda also collected a large variety of games in Hyrule Historia and sold it for 25$. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar for KH and I'm sure many fans would buy it, even if if costs a little more. It's not even that uncommon to have artbooks anymore. Back in the day it wasn't as popular but nowadays there are so many and they sell fairly well. (Otherwise there wouldn't be so many.) The manga one was nice, though I would have liked to see more sketches. I personally enjoy these types of artbooks which show how things were developed, stuff the people normally wouldn't see, and not only a collection of finished products. Days wasn't in the book because as far as I'm aware, it wasn't published yet at the time. I bought that book roughly eleven years ago at one of my first conventions and I believe the Days manga came later. I would have liked to see more of it too because the manga was hilarious.

Kingdom Hearts III announced for The Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia; disk art and artbook cover officially revealed
From the looks of it, the artbook likely won't be that great. Good artbooks usually start at around 20$ and this one looks rather small with few pages. I sincerely hope I am wrong but my expectations are fairly low. I'm hoping that they actually announce a proper artbook for purchase at some point in the future with loads of concept art and comments from all games, but it's just a dream so far. The closest we got are the Ultimanias (and that one dedicated to the manga adaption), but even those usually only have a few and not full pages but several pressed into one page. The PS4 Pro may not come to Europe, though I hope it will be a worldwide thing. I don't plan on purchasing it since these type of limited editions tend to be really expensive and skins are much cheaper, but I still want it to be available for those who want one.

Translations of Kingdom Hearts Union x Main Quest update reveals a familiar face
Apart from the short, actually relevant bit which prevents fans from abandoning KHUx for good, 90% of the dialogue was a poor attempt at making PvP ~*plot relevant*~ so people will stop complaining about it. They can do so however they want, I will not stop considering it an abomination. Don't get me wrong, I like getting backstory but I feel KHUx made everything so much worse. At least up to this point. They could have separated the characters, could have come up with a story which doesn't involve time travel (the, in my opinion, most obnoxious part of the franchise since we can never be sure who is who from what time), but no, they had to drag everything to the present. It's not like I hate KHUx, but I found it better without its ties to the present plot. And without the laws of time travel seemingly getting retconned. It would just have been better for it to have a relevance of its own and not because known characters suddenly start appearing like snowdrops in spring.

Kingdom Hearts III disk art and Limited Edition art book cover surfaces on reddit
Weird, someone from reddit apparently contacted SE and they said the normal box would also be included. (Which would be similar to past releases.) So there's still a good chance for people to get the regular box with it. Spiderman is a totally different game, which is why it can't be compared. It's not even the same developer.

Analysis: Kingdom Hearts III Together Trailer
I always like these analysis posts. They sometimes make me aware of small things I might have missed, especially with images coming in rapid succession, but it's also nice to have small theories woven in without them being too imposing or taking up too much space based on assumptions or going a little too far. I'm still weirded out by Sora's KH2 model in the current engine. Maybe it's because I've gotten so used to seeing him in his KH3 style or perhaps they didn't put that much effort into it since his hair doesn't seem to fit in that ahot with Maleficent and Pete. It seems to stick up too high and not at all like in previous games somehow, not even like in 0.2, and his skin is rather dark. Oh well, I'm not going to be bothered if some shots look a little strange. I think all games have that at one point with how detailed they are nowadays and it won't stay for that long anyway. I personally also appreciated the trailer/commercial. Yes, it was predictable and similar to lots of movie teasers, but if I were to see it as a child or pre-teen, I wouldn't care for the narration too much either way and be fascinated by the Disney aspects. I think it does a good job at appealing to potential newcomers with bringing the plot down to the most simple of explanations. I can understand that it might not be what some die-hard fans would have wanted but you can't make it right for everyone and considering that this is played at theaters, it fits in with other ads. It's fine to dislike it but it won't really change the game for me so there's no reason to be on the fence about it either. I think this analysis showcases perfectly that this is not the usual trailer format but also offering reasons why it doesn't aim to be without glorifying nor diminishinf its worth. I appreciate this mostly neutral approach more than overexcited gushing or dejected complaints since it's fitting for an analysis. This is not a reaction after all.

Which internet site would you break if you were Wreck-it Ralph?
The pop-up websites telling me I've won something when all I want is to view a website in peace. The ad-block apps on my phone are always subpar at handling those type of things somehow (perhaps because it's too old or whatever), and it's annoying.

New Kingdom Hearts III "Together" trailer released; development on the game has concluded; Nomura teases new announcement in December
I always thought this mockery was misplaced. It's not like there hasn't been a new KH title in over a decade. I could understand it if it had been in production for a really long time with countless delays but it's been in active development for roughly 5 years now, counting from before the engine switch in 2014 where they basically had to start over. 5 years isn't such a long time for a big title and within the estimate such a game needs. It's only unusual to announce a game this early. But we got a decent amount of updates, so I never really doubted it would reach this point eventually. I think a lot of people are just used to shorter waiting times between announcement and release or some companies throwing out an unfinished game each year. But 5 years is still an adequate amount of time and it's not like we never heard about the game in that time frame. KH3 was never in danger of becoming another FFXV in my opinion. So yeah, there was no real reason for anyone to taunt the game. All previous KH titles came out with no problem, they just couldn't make it in 2 years for KH3 since they couldn't just recycle old assets and the like since they wanted to evolve the graphics and the overall size too. Maybe some were also a little too accustomed to a new game every 2 years. Otherwise I could see no reason where those doubts could stem from. The only concern I have/had is how it will come to us, what it will be like in the end, and not if it will.

New Kingdom Hearts III "Together" trailer released; development on the game has concluded; Nomura teases new announcement in December
You're right that there's definitely the possibility that more will be shown and that it's okay to believe that, I just think it's not good to go around and act like those expectations are confirmed. I've seen quite a few people act like it's factual that two more Disney worlds are left. There's no issue to theorize and say "I believe/I expect that there're two more left", but if people claim it and write it in a manner that suggests it's a confirmed fact, others will be more inclined to believe that as the truth. It's not the first time some people then throw a tantrum because they believed in something wrong. And quite frankly, while it doesn't bother me or SE/Disney on a personal level, there are better things to complain about than a company not meeting personal expectations. I'm aware you can't satisfy everyone but it's a bit irksome when I see numerous people complain about something because of their own assumptions and because Square didn't create a trailer which suits their taste... I don't mind if people criticize models, gameplay, etc. or if people just like to theorize what is left, what could be shown and so on, but getting salty over something like this is kinda childish. It's okay to say that they didn't like the trailer, but acting entitled isn't. That was mainly what I was getting at. I also believe that we have a new world left at least, but I don't expect anything. We all have hopes and dreams and I love reading about them, I just don't enjoy reading about fans acting like SE owes them a mindbreaking trailer. We received 3 in the past week, which is already a lot considering we couldn't even be sure we would get another before December when the TGS one dropped. I personally enjoyed it because it's one of the few times we did not have Don't Think Twice playing without any game sounds. Now we heard those sounds clearly, which I'm very fond of. It also shows amusing scenes which are a lot more light-hearted than some of the heavy scenes overshadowing everything else in past trailers, so I think it's good to have a trailer which can also appeal to people who have no experience with KH. I'm psychic. But yeah, there's always the possibility that this is it. It's understandable if people are disappointed then but the higher the expectations are, the harder it is to meet them and some just don't take that too well. There are things people can criticize SE and Disney for, but this trailer or our expectations aren't part of the list since they never promised more.
-
New Kingdom Hearts III "Together" trailer released; development on the game has concluded; Nomura teases new announcement in December
I tend to agree. I think quite a few fans are getting too used to the oversaturated trailers of the past months and are getting disappointed when high expectations aren't met. I've seen a few people get salty because it's not a longer version of the 100 Acre Woods trailer, even though it was never said there would be a longer version coming. This disappointment regarding assumptions is getting a bit too prominent in my opinion just because the last two trailers weren't that long. I think this trailer was good. It was showing amusing scenes without throwing around any concepts which could be confusing to new people. KH3 will be a game mainly directed toward fans but the franchise still needs new fans and that can't be done if people won't get interested in the games in the first place. I'm not quite sure this is a cutscene to gameplay transition to be honest. It could be but it could also be normal camera movement since it's done from above. But you're right that we shouldn't assume too much and keep our expectations low. There are still many people who are adamant about there being two more Disney worlds because of the three sections but as far as I remember, Nomura didn't say those sections would consist of an equal amount of worlds and that all of them would be Disney/Pixar... I also think Jump Festa is likely due to the past appearances but nowadays, we don't really need events to know about new trailers.

Quick question. Does anybody happen to know if the KH Ultimanias are important? If so, does the...
The Ultimanias contain a few snippeta here and there in the interviews and I'm sure those can be found online and translated. However, most information is worded really ambiguously and often in the form of questions so we sometimes don't exactly know. Other than that, most Ultimanias are basically guides which contain no exceptionally important information but tell you where to find what, enemy stats and the like. They also contain character info and sketches, etc. I'd personally search for the interviews. I'm sure most of them are either fully translated or at least have a summary/abridged version.

It's somehow really hard to type off my fanfiction... I've only finished 20 pages out of 55 so ...
I think a lot of people are under the impression that everything needs to be highly original to be good and that cliché tropes are to be avoided, but they often forget that there's reason these themes became so well-known in the first place. People like them and can relate to them and even though they're not new, a lot of them will still be well received in the end if they occur. Especially if they fit into the narrative. It will forever not be funny when a character is prompted to remove all weapons and spends the entire evening emptying their pockets. Or similar tropes. That's always a bit hard to predict since I feel like there's a lot of luck involved to become a popular author. Considering what is popular, I don't think it's always good, creative writing, though that's only my opinion. I'm not too fond of Harry Potter, Twilight and the like since their main characters are really dull and Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu. It's not always the story which bothers me but also character portrayal and general writing style. For example, I enjoy reading about emotions. I don't need elaborate descriptions of environments like Jane Austen tends to do. That's what my imagination is for, unless it's vital. These works all are world-driven and don't focus much on actual emotion. My readers actually like my style because I focus a lot on the psychological aspect. But that's always a matter of taste. I also don't think characters need to evolve drastically unless there's reason to. If a character is balanced from the start, there's no need to force a development through tragic events. That's what I like about Sora for example. He virtually stayed mostly the same. He became a bit more snarky, but he's still the happy-go-lucky type who cares about everyone, but most of all his close friends. I don't mind We all have phrases or words we tend to use more often than others. I've actually gotten used to seeing it from you and immediately connect it to you when I see it, regardless of actually seeing your name.

Amazon announces Holiday Deals for Gamers with an exclusive Kingdom Hearts III announcement
I'd be more concerned this will be US only, no matter what gets announced. Unless it's a trailer, but in terms of bundles and deals, it will likely pertain to the US alone. Otherwise this is somehow completely random, but we'll see. I actually hope that Amazon will at least offer a pre-order bonus since it's one of those major sellers which didn't announce anything yet. Not that the others are so great, but it's something at least.

Nomura reveals his greatest memory of Mickey Mouse
They were part of the Re:coded Ultimania storyboards (I looked into mine since the plate says concept art from Re:coded). But it's not that surprising. I think the art exhibition focuses a lot on the theme of 90 years of memories, so naturally, there will be a lot of older artworks as well to show the development. I guess it would be like a photo album since the exhibition seems to be really large too. It would be hard to only showcase new works after all. I guess Nomura is also a little busy right now. He may have done drawings for the benefit marketing (like the clothes line), but doing something new might take a little more time if it's more than a sketch. Also, it fits his statement well.

New Kingdom Hearts III Tangled trailer debuted at Lucca Comics and Games 2018
I wonder how he would react to that He's a huge fan of so many things that I'm sure he could relate to some degree bur I doubr he'd be happy about it. Or maybe he would just download the videos and send them via E-Mail. There're enough trailers to prove that it isn't cheating so they could easily look it up, but I see little promotional value in revealing the opening cinematic because of the aforementioned reasons. If it's done for marketing purposes only and not to please the fans, I'd feel it's unnecessary since this style will likely only be around for a few scenes at best. We really learn nothing much from it either. I know many want to see it, I just wouldn't know what to take from it other than it being pretty emotional as a fan of course. But do we need it for marketing/promotion? I don't think so, which is why I agree with you and the reason why I don't want to see it either. Awe, that's sad Maybe you could at least go see a movie or something. Yeah my friend and I can only take a week off, too though we'll likely need more time. It's a little disappointing but I guess we have to suck it up and act like responsible adults at times. Though we probably won't see much of the outside world either. Urgh, I will be even more tired than usual but that's worth it.
