    Finally managed to get rid of that awkward 24" TV in my desktop configuration, and my brother gave me a 23" to match the ones I have...neat.

    Only issue being that I'm an idiot and completely forgot that male DSP to female HDMI adapters are specifically for outputting DSP to HDMI, and that I need to purchase a more EXPENSIVE adapter to do HDMI to DSP output for this new monitor...so I'm settling for the twin 16:10s that my stepfather used to use for work until I can find $40 to drop on an adapter. Joy.
