  1. What is the Best Way to Become Powerful in KHUχ? I can't find any place that gives tips on how to become a powerful player. I have some 6 Star Medals, but they still don't seem that powerful. So, should I also be focusing on leveling up my strength and defense? What is the best way to do that?
  2. Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]:
  3. I liked the story elements that were revealed for 0.2. Ventus in Snow White's glass coffin, Aqua fighting a reflection of herself, and Aqua facing off against countless Darksides all got me super excited for a story that I was not as interested in as I was for Back Cover's story. I might even be more excited for 0.2 now.
  4. Maybe. I have never been that good at identifying voice actors. All I know is that the voice from the hooded figure in the previous trailer seems to match up best with the voice of the Master of Masters in this trailer and that I have never heard Luxu's voice in any of these trailers before (to the best of my knowledge). I am sure that someone will do an in depth comparison of all of the voices from each of the scenes with hooded figures in them that we have gotten so far and be able to tell which character is speaking in each scene and will maybe even take a stab at who their voice actors are, but until then, that's all I can give you.
  5. I think that the Master of Masters is the one who was talking to Master Ira in this trailer and the previous trailer. I think that this trailer is the first time we have heard Luxu speak so far.
  6. I actually think that there is a possibility that it might be hinting at Terra and Ventus becoming vessels for Master Xehanort. I am not sure that it is, but it seems strange to me that this trailer would show their Wayfinders, with a trail of darkness coming from behind them, falling in front of Where Nothing Gathers, unless it was hinting at something. Not to mention that it immediately followed with both Terra and Ventus in their possessed states. So, yes, I think that this may be hinting toward something like that.
  7. You may have a point. I decided to look over Nomura's comment again, and he does not say when Season 2 will begin. What he says is, "The other is a big development regarding the story. The start of season two is still some way off, but the events leading up to it will begin as main story. And, to go with that work on three new worlds has already begun. The third will be a new world starting from season two, and it will be a new Disney world that has not appeared in the KH series so far." Now that my head is a little clearer, I think that if Castle of Dreams was part of Season 2, he would have made it known when the announcement of the world was made. He also said that main story will lead up to Season 2, but he did not say that those events will be the Keyblade War, like we saw in KH X. In fact, this seems to imply that new main story will be added other than what KH X had that will build up to Season 2, but is not included in Season 2. Finally, it seems like he is saying that Season 2 will begin with a new world that has not appeared in any KH game so far. So, since only Castle of Dreams has been announced as a new world (unless they are just keeping the others a secret), it seems more and more possible that it is actually not a part of Season 2. So, the more I think about it, the more I think you may be right. That being said, I still think that Season 2 has a possibility of starting before the Keyblade War and the other events that ended KH X. I still think that it does not make sense otherwise (as of right now, that is).
  8. I think that Back Cover will answer a lot of questions, just not necessarily about Season 2. However, it is an hour long movie, and since we haven't seen much of them in KH χ, it could also cover stuff from Season 2. We won't know until we see it.
  9. This actually makes a lot of sense. With how much Nomura and Square have been trying to connect KH X to KH III, I think that it is very likely that the brand new world will also appear in KH III. It will serve as another tease for KH III.
  10. We were told that the first one would be Castle of Dreams. The second one I believe was revealed to be Enchanted Dominion in the KH X Special Episode. The third one is a Disney world that hasn't appeared yet. I have no idea which Disney movie it will be, but if I had to place money on it, I would say it will be Frozen (because of how popular it is), Tangled (to tease us for Kingdom Hearts III), the Jungle Book (because they have tried so many times to make it a world in the past), Treasure Planet (because that one was almost made a world in KH 3D), or Toy Story (because of the unused summon models for Buzz and Woody in KH II).
  11. I recently found a lot of people complaining that a lot of what Square puts in their games, such as what they did with time travel in KH3D and saying that time in every world moves differently, is just an excuse to make up for their bad ideas. Some of them were also complaining that KHX ruins the Keyblade War, among other things. Do you think that there is any truth to this or not? What are your thoughts on this?
  12. They could be anyone. I am not even sure that they are supposed to be anyone in particular. That being said, I chose Xehanort & Eraqus because we were told that we would get a glimpse of why Xehanort is so obsessed with Kingdom Hearts in KH X and KH Unchained X, but so far, I don't think we have gotten that glimpse yet.
  13. This post contains spoilers for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] and Unchained χ, Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], and the Kingdom Hearts re:coded secret ending titled "A Fairy Tale?" (from Kingdom Hearts HD II.5 ReMIX). Tetsuya Nomura recently released a KHUχ One Year Anniversary comment. There were a lot of interesting things that he revealed. However, what I thought was the most interesting was this:
  14. If a full length Kingdom Hearts film were made, while I would love to see the original Kingdom Hearts get turned into a movie, I would prefer to see an original story, like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I don't know what it would cover. I would have originally said Birth by Sleep Volume 2, but we are getting a short game of that story now (or at least, part of what it was going to be). I don't know what else an original story could be about off the top of my head. So, I would be up for anything.
  15. Cool! Thanks for the update! So, now that we know that it takes place after Dream Drop Distance, how is Namine talking to Lingering Will if she is now part of Kairi (or at least should be at this time, unless there is some part of her that did not completely become a part of Kairi, kind of like how Roxas could still act, even though he was a part of Sora, before the end of Kingdom Hearts II)? Also, does this confirm that Master Xehanort is indeed still in possession and control of Terra's body? I would say "Yes!" I know that a lot of people already thought that, but a lot of people also did not. So, it is cool to have a possible confirmation.
  16. This is an interesting theory. However, I feel like Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance already disproved it. Near the end of the game, after Young Xehanort called Sora his "new vessel", Young Xehanort told Riku, "We originally had our sights set on you. But, you developed a certain...resistance to darkness. So we did what the Keyblade did, and moved down the list." Also, if Riku was one of Xehanort's vessels, he would have been sitting in one of the seats in Where Nothing Gathers instead of confronting Young Xehanort. I think the reason why Riku didn't seem surprised at what was happening when the darkness was consuming Destiny Islands, his friends, and himself and why he wasn't afraid of the darkness was because he had already opened his heart to darkness. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, explained this to Sora, Donald, and Goofy at the end of Kingdom Hearts 1. He said, in the form of Riku, "Take a look at this tiny place. To the heart seeking freedom this island is a prison surrounded by water. And so this boy sought out to escape from his prison. He sought a way to cross over into other worlds. And he opened his heart to darkness." We learn in Birth by Sleep that Riku knew that there were other worlds even as a child. He also even had the desire to visit other worlds at that young age in order to become strong enough to protect the things that matter to him. So, my guess is that either what he told Sora and Kairi at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1, about not thinking of any of this until Kairi showed up, is now retconned, or finding out that Kairi came from another world ignited his desire to visit other worlds so much that he finally decided to act on it.
  17. I personally have never experienced any of these issues other than the long loading times, which didn't really bother me that much. It might be because I don't use some of the strategies that other people use, such as going into Drive Form and reverting right away to heal, but whatever the reason, I just don't experience most of those issues. I have a lot of nitpicks, but overall, I felt like they were good games. The issues I faced and the nitpicks I have are not enough to ruin the game for me. So, I don't feel that I have a reason to complain. However, if other people have issues and feel the need to complain, then by all means, complain. Square-Enix needs to know if you have complaints. I won't pretend that these issues don't exist for others. However, if I don't feel the need to complain, I should not have to complain.
  18. I know that I am really late to this topic, but I just wanted to share something that I think is interesting. A lot of people are saying that Luxu must be the man in the black coat who is talking to Ira in the E3 2016 trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue. However, on this page of Famitsu Weekly, it says in the text box at the top, "The one who holds the key to this story is the Foretellers' Master in the black coat. He seems so unusual, telling this young man who wants to save the world, 'It's useless.'": http://kh13.com/forum/gallery/image/42915-master-of-masters/ Therefore, the man in the black coat that everyone is saying is Luxu must actually be the Master of Masters, unless that is Luxu, and the Master of Masters possessed him or something like that.
  19. I thought it went like this: 1. Ira = Wrath (ira); Unicorn 2. Invi = Envy (invidia); Snake 3. Aced = Sloth (acedia); Bear 4. Gula = Gluttony (gula); Leopard? 5. Ava = Greed (avaritia); Fox 6. Luxu = Lust (luxuria); Goat 7. Master of Masters = Pride (superbia); Lion? My only question is: Why is Gula a Leopard? That isn't one of the animals listed on the chart.
  20. If you were to pick any Pixar world to appear in Kingdom Hearts III, which one would it be and why? I would pick Toy Story, because it is my favorite movie of all time, and it is not only Pixar's first movie, but it is also their most iconic movie.
  21. While it seems that Pixar milks some of their properties, from everything we have heard from them, they actually don't. When Pixar announced that every currently planned movie after The Incredibles 2 is going to be an original movie, a quote from Pixar's president was released in Entertainment Weekly, in which, as Entertainment Weekly said, "Pixar president Jim Morris spoke about the studio's development process, why certain sequels made the cut, and why you won't be seeing anything less than original at Pixar for quite some time." Jim Morris explained, "Most studios jump on doing a sequel as soon as they have a successful film, but our business model is a filmmaker model, and we don't make a sequel unless the director of the original film has an idea that they like and are willing to go forward on. A sequel in some regards is even harder [than the original] because you've got this defined world which, on the one hand, is a leg up, and on the other hand has expectations that you can't disappoint on." This seems to also be true about Toy Story 4, since, as D23.com says, "The story was dreamt up by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Lee Unkrich, the storytellers who have been the driving force behind all three Toy Story films." So, at least that is encouraging. Also, a quote from John Lasseter on the same D23 website goes to show that Toy Story 4 is not trying to milk the franchise either. He said, "We love these characters so much; they are like family to us. We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before. Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee, and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself." Do I think that Toy Story 4 is necessary? No. However, I have learned from experience not to doubt Pixar. There have been a lot of movies that they have made, such as Ratatouille and Up, that I didn't think were going to be good until I actually saw the movie. So, I will reserve my judgement until I have seen Toy Story 4 myself. Besides, the Toy Story franchise didn't end with Toy Story 3, since there have been a lot of shorts and specials that have continued it. Also, even if those shorts and specials weren't made, it's not like nothing ever happened to the toys again once Andy left them with Bonnie. So, what is another movie going to hurt, as long as it is done right?
